let's see if this works . . .
one note: the page is titled with a 'g' used where I would have expected a 'c'
so it says 'authenitGATOR' not authenticator.
it says authentigator
(I transposed the 't' and the 'i')
it includes a tiny icon of a cat.
if it's a gator, why not an icon of an alligator
?
I didn't try to but I could probably run this locally if I copy the crypto.js file as well.
but your not recommending downloading, so I'll take your advice and not do that.
ok, I looked at the html file, which I did down load, and it does also down load the crypto js file so . . . I bet if I loaded that it would work.
if one does that it would not involve anything more than loading that page and pasting, and no connectiun, even to the authenticator page at github.io would even be needed then . .
It's not hard. you compose your post, then copy the code over.
if it doesn't work you do it a second time with the new code.
here is a question: will the breads go back to 751 posts?
my systems are linux based too.
the process is simple.
the code changes every 30 seconds.
it shows you with a count down when it will expire.
so compose your post, then copy the code from the authenticator (authentigator) again.
When you post if the count is very low, then wait till the count rolls over, and then, with 30 seconds, you ought to be able to get your post in.
you need to copy the code for every post, so it's annoying, like the captcha used to be (when it got to be for every post) but it works very well.)
Kudos to those who created this!!
what does SEE mean?
it was nice in here for a while.
but there it is the 'nothing that anyone else posts is good enough for me'
why don't you just post something meaningful like 'the absolute state of the board!' and blame the anons for not doing enough . . .
gesh.
