It's called 'dialectic inversion'.
It's when your own actions contradict the meaning of your own words, then you use those words to smear people with accusations of inequity narratives in order to cover and persist your own unequal treatment of other people.
They were 'taught' to believe it's ok because the same dialectic logic infiltrated the schools they went to.
