Prominent Christian Group “Focus on the Family” Has Headquarters Vandalized After Left Blames Conservatives For Club Q Shooting by Non-Binary Killer

Godless leftists vandalised the Colorado Springs headquarters of Focus on the Family on Thanksgiving morning.

Vandals spray-painted “their blood is on your hands” and “five lives taken” on the sign leading into its headquarters.

This was in reference to the tragic Club Q shooting that killed five and injured twenty-five by a non-binary killer who goes by the name, “Mx. Anderson Lee Aldrich.”

Mx. Aldrich was previously arrested for threatening to bomb his mother’s house.

A typical conservative!

The Daily Signal reported:

Earlier this month, a gunman opened fire at Club Q, a gay nightclub in Colorado Springs, Colorado, killing five and injuring 25 others. Despite the suspect’s identifying as “nonbinary” and going by “Mx. Anderson Lee Aldrich” in court documents, many on the Left blamed conservatives and Christians for the attack, and vandals targeted one prominent conservative Christian group in the city.

“Their blood is on your hands,” vandals spray-painted at the Colorado Springs headquarters of Focus on the Family. The vandals added, “five lives taken.”

Vandals spray-painted the Focus on the Family building in the wee hours of Thanksgiving morning. Before the vandalism, numerous news outlets and left-leaning personalities had cited Focus on the Family’s conservative Christian stances on homosexual activity while reporting on the shooting. Some called the city “an epicenter of organized homophobia.” Among these, the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), a leftist organization notorious for demonizing conservative Christians who oppose the LGBT agenda, named Focus in an article tying “anti-LGBTQ hate” to the shooting.

The left blamed conservatives for the attack.

An article from SPLC specifically mentioned Focus on the Family.

Colorado Springs, where the shooting took place, has itself long been a hub for the Christian Right, which for decades has pumped out anti-LGBTQ propaganda in the name of a narrow and exclusionary definition of family.

In the 1990s, Colorado Springs’s Focus on the Family led the fundamentalist charge in support of Amendment 2, a Colorado ballot measure that banned municipalities from including LGBTQ people in their anti-discrimination policies. Though the initiative passed in 1992, in 1995 the Supreme Court found that it violated the 14th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.

According to court documents, the shooter was non-binary in orientation.

The Gateway Pundit reported:

Accused Colorado Springs gay bar mass shooter 22-year-old Anderson Lee Aldrich is non-binary, uses they/them pronouns and is addressed by Mx. according to a Tuesday night court filing by his attorney. The mass shooting at Club Q killed five and injured 17 people. Aldrich has been charged with five counts of first degree murder and ‘bias motivated crime.’

Club Q features drag shows, including all ages family brunch drag shows, that has prompted liberal media figures to blame the attack on conservative reporters who have exposed the sexualization of children at drag shows and the targeting of minors for trans surgery and medication

New York Times reporter Nicholas Bogel-Burroughs posted to Twitter, “In new court filing, public defenders for the suspect in the mass shooting at a Colorado gay club that left 5 people dead say that their client is non-binary and that “they use they/them pronouns.” The lawyers refer to their client as Mx. Anderson Aldrich.”

Will the left denounce this attack?

Dem Congressman Passes Away After Winning Re-Election – Special Election To Be Held

Democrat Rep. Donald McEachin passed away on Monday.

McEachin had colorectal cancer – he was 61.

Conservative Brief reported:

Virginia Democratic Rep. Donald McEachin passed away on Monday at the age of 61 following his battle with colorectal cancer. McEachin, who was first elected to Congress in 2016, was re-elected earlier this month in the midterm elections to the U.S. House of Representatives.

Tara Rountree, the congressman’s chief of staff, released a statement announcing the tragic news: “We are all devastated at the passing of our boss and friend, Congressman Donald McEachin. Valiantly, for years now, we have watched him fight and triumph over the secondary effects of his colorectal cancer from 2013. Tonight, he lost that battle, and the people of Virginia’s Fourth Congressional District lost a hero who always, always fought for them and put them first.”

“Until a new representative is elected, our office will remain open and continue to serve our constituents. The family asks for privacy at this time. Arrangements will be announced over the next few days,” the statement continued.

McEachin won re-election during the midterms beating Republican candidate Leon Benjamin 64.4% to 35.6%.

His district is in the Richmond area of Virginia.

Just The News reported:

McEachin, who has represented the state’s Richmond area in Congress since 2017, was reelected earlier this month by 64.4%, making him one of 213 Democrats elected to the next Congress, according to Politico.

McEachin’s death does not affect how many votes the next Speaker of the House will need.

Fox News reported:

With the death of Virginia Democratic Rep. Donald McEachin, the new Congress will begin with a vacancy until there is a special election to fill that seat.

A reminder: You cannot be appointed to the House.

McEachin’s untimely death does not give some breathing room to House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., in his quest to become Speaker. The new Congress will begin with 434 members. The magic number for McCarthy continues to be 218 – an outright majority of the entire body.

Who will replace McEachin will be decided by a special election on a date decided by Governor Glenn Youngkin.

McEachin’s district is heavily Democrat.

Twitter Stops Enforcing COVID-19 Misinformation Policy

Twitter will no longer enforce its Covid-19 misinformation policy, under which users who deviated from prevailing establishment narratives frequently had their accounts locked or suspended.

The longstanding policy did not apply to misinformation from government officials, who regularly lied about things such as transmission, masks, vaccine efficacy, side effects, or any of the other 'science' which turned out to be patently false.

Twitter did not officially announce the change, rather, the company added a note to a page on its website outlining its Covid-19 policy.

"Effective November 23, 2022, Twitter is no longer enforcing the COVID-19 misleading information policy," reads the note, which follows a line that still reads: "As the global community faces the COVID-19 pandemic together, Twitter is helping people find reliable information, connect with others, and follow what's happening in real time."

What's more, Sky News reports that the company's Covid-19 'misleading information' policy was nuked, which showed that the company operated on a strike system in which those who had a label added to their tweets were given one strike, while those with deleted tweets were given two strikes. Users with two to three strikes would have a 12-hour lockout, while those with four strikes were permanently suspended.

The platform suspended more than 11,000 accounts and removed nearly 98,000 pieces of content for violating its COVID misinformation policy between January 2022 and September 2022, according to information published by Twitter.

The site also reduced the visibility of tweets or accounts believed to be in violation of the policy by stopping tweets or retweets from those accounts appearing in certain parts of Twitter, displaying their replies in lower positions in conversations and excluding their tweets or account from recommendations on the site. -Sky News

Of note, half of Twitter's content moderation, human rights and communications teams were laid off when new owner Elon Musk took over. Hundreds more left after Musk issued an ultimatum to staff requiring them to sign up for "long hours at high intensity" or leave.
