I've been to Southern Pines - cute little community. This comment seems interesting.
I live in Moore County, NC. Power out since about 9pm EST. The interesting thing is a drag show happened in downtown Southern Pines, at the Sunrise Theatre. It was initially for all ages (including kids), but numerous people rallied against it and they changed it to 18 , and also lost some sponsorship I believe for their show.
Last night, protesters both for and against the show had legal permits to protest in front of the venue. Lots of yelling, etc, but no violence. No antifa presence that one could see.
But the power went out and closed down the event towards the end of it. Now that this happened with the power, local leftists are posting all over social media that it was done by conservatives. People are trying to fan the flames.
Pray for us. People around here drive stupid as heck too. We are known for our car accidents, so this will just make it worse.
