On May 4th, 1945, A B-24 nicknamed Brief was sent on a mission to destroy anti-aircraft installations in Koror, the capital city of Palau. This mission was being filmed by the War Department to be used for training and news footage and was titled Mission To Koror And Arakabesan, Palau Islands.
10 of the crew perished in the crash, while the navigator, 2nd Lt Wallace F. Kaufman, managed to bail out.

The board failed to account for all of the reasons the Q drops were occurring. One significant oversight was consideration of the use of the drops to mislead opposition forces in a tactical sense. Dates, times, deadlines, and strategy 'reveals' were military deception, but some anons fell for the ruse. These anons then felt deceived or became bored due to their misunderstanding the full scope of the Q material.
