They will meet and only 4 of the 9 justices are needed to vote for a hearing. If 4 vote for the hearing it will be scheduled and the Court will rule on its decision. I think you make an excellent point. It might all be a dog and pony show to make certain groups have a melt down worrying about the ‘What ifs”. I find it very exciting that they actually gave it consideration and did not send it home with the 18K other cases they sent on their way.
