For the most part we understand that we're all playing background rolls in a massive & real-world version of 'The Truman Show', yes?
Therefore, the only thing we're actually disagreeing on is trying to bridge a gap between those who are left defending the mental prison they've long been kettled inside of (that they don't even know existed) & those of us who are well-aware of the fact that we're currently in the movie.
At least aware that there is much more going on here than meets the eye.
