POTS is a syndrome that seems to be associated with "long COVID" (possibly "vaccine injury" in fact).
It is interesting to me that while global "health" initiatives seek to lower sodium intake in people passively in the diet, by replacing salt (sodium chloride) with potassium chloride, those with POTS need to increase sodium intake:

POTS makes life hard, but the linked article says it doesn't shorten life expectancy. However, I wonder what happens to someone with POTS whose diet is suddenly lower in sodium?
