Richer lied on the stand at least 3-4 times and I’m not even finished with his testimony

I’m watching the first session of Kari Lake trial and questions of Richer, the most evasive, dishonest creature I’ve ever seen.

My understanding of past elections and the audit of 2020, along with statements of poll workers in 2020, there is always a Chain of Custody document is completed at the voting center with the exact number of ballots transferred to MCTEC and in each blue bin, inside is that document has the number of ballots sent. Richer is saying, “no the voting center does not include the numbrr if ballots sent and Mctech then counts them”.

This is ludicrous as chain of custody documentation from voting center is specifically to prevent anyone involved in the transfer, for any bad actor to add or subtract votes in route. In essence Richer is saying there is NO chain of custody between locations, which defeats the whole purpose of chain of custody.

He goes on to say, they are only counted when delivered to MCTech and then sent to Runbeck with the accurate count, only for Runbeck to recount them. We all remember the chain of custody papers in the audit, which the auditors found they were totally fucked up, duplicate forms and add ballots.

There is an AZ state law that explicitly states the process of chain of custody which starts at the voting center counting the voted with a form with the contents of the box.(Truthfully these assholes educated all anons on voting procedures for 3 years)

Richer got caught in this lie by a witness on the stand today.

It’s simply amazingly convenientthat NONE of these criminals have a memory of what they said or did. Similar to everyone in Russiagate, HRC. FBi, Fauci and numerous criminals.

China funds construction of new military hospital at Papua New Guinea's Taurama Barracks

Beijing is bankrolling a hospital for Papua New Guinea's Defence Force (PNGDF) in a move some analysts fear could eventually lead to a much deeper Chinese military presence in the Pacific nation.

The project was publicly revealed by PNG's Chief of Defence last week during his end-of-year parade speech attended by dignitaries including China's new military attaché.

"I am grateful to announce Chinese commitment to fund the constructions of the PNGDF Military Hospital at Taurama Barracks," Major General Mark Goina said at the event on December 16.

"Work has commenced for our Defence Minister to sign the protocols for the use of the funds and scoping/design works of the Hospital in 2023," the PNGDF Commander added.

According to General Goina, the Chinese-funded initiative would come "at a cost of 31 million [Papua New Guinean] Kina" or roughly just over $13 million.

Taurama Barracks are located in PNG's capital Port Moresby and accommodated the Australian-led Pacific Islands Battalion during World War II.

In 2007, Papua New Guinea signed a deal with Beijing for China to provide half a million US dollars for the maintenance and renovation of the existing medical facility at Taurama Barracks.

During his speech, the PNG commander thanked the People's Liberation Army (PLA) for its "continued support with training and willingness to support us in areas that need capacity building".

"We have reached the end of the first year of our Defence Force five-year plan, the 2022 to 2026 Intent," General Goina said.

'A military hospital one day, a military base the next'

General Goina began his speech by acknowledging Australia as "our longest, and closest defence partner", declaring: "The long and enduring relationship of military partnership and dare I say it, mateship, between Papua New Guinea and Australia, is the most important to us."

Australia's Defence Department declined to say when it became aware of the Chinese-funded project, telling the ABC "decisions made by the government of Papua New Guinea and PNGDF are a matter for Papua New Guinea".

In some US zip codes, young men face more risk of firearm death than those deployed in recent wars

To better understand the magnitude of the gun violence crisis and put it in perspective, researchers at Brown University and the University of Pennsylvania compared the risk of firearm-related death for young adult men living in the most violent areas in four major U.S. cities with the risks of combat death and injury faced by U.S. military personnel who served in Afghanistan and Iraq during active periods of war.

The results were mixed: The study, published in JAMA Network Open, found that young men from zip codes with the most firearm violence in Chicago and Philadelphia faced a notably higher risk of firearm-related death than U.S. military personnel deployed to wartime service in Afghanistan and Iraq. But the opposite was true in two other cities: The most violent areas in New York and Los Angeles were associated with much less risk for young men than those in the two wars.

In all zip codes studied, risks were overwhelmingly borne by young men from minority racial and ethnic groups, the study found.

"These results are an urgent wake-up call for understanding, appreciating and responding to the risks and attendant traumas faced by this demographic of young men," said Brandon del Pozo, an assistant professor of medicine (research) at Brown's Warren Alpert Medical School and an assistant professor of health services, policy and practice (research) at the University's School of Public Health.

Del Pozo conducts research at the intersection of public health, public safety and justice, focusing on substance use, the overdose crisis, and violence. His recently released book, "The Police and the State: Security, Social Cooperation, and the Public Good," is based on his academic research as well as his 23 years of experience as a police officer in New York City and as chief of police of Burlington, Vermont.

Meta-optics: The disruptive technology you didn't see coming

Meta-optics is advancing science and technology far beyond the 3,000-year-old optical paradigm that we rely on for the visual human-machine interface, such as through cameras in our mobile phones, the lenses in microscopes, drones, and telescopes. Optical components are the technology bottleneck that meta-optics aims to transform, bringing the stuff of science-fiction stories into everyday devices.

The field, which blossomed after the early 2000s thanks to the conceptualization of a material with negative refractive index that could form a perfect lens, has grown rapidly in the last five years and now sees around 3000 publications a year.

This accelerating volume of research is impossible for scientists and technologists to navigate, which prompted Nature Photonics to commission a review from leaders in meta-optics research, Professor Dragomir Neshev, Centre Director of the ARC Centre of Excellence for Transformative Meta-Optical Systems, and Professor of Physics at the Australian National University, and Professor Andrey Miroshnichenko from UNSW Canberra.

They found the field was on the verge of industrial disruption.

"The biggest driver for the meta-optics field comes from integrating meta-optical elements and devices into optical systems, offering consumer optoelectronics applications," the authors wrote.

"Importantly, meta-optical systems enable novel applications not conceivable before, adding to so-called Industry 4.0. Such applications include the Internet of Things, autonomous cars, wearable devices, augmented reality and remote sensing."

The importance of the technology is shown by the large-scale investment from big industry players such as Apple, Google, and Samsung, who have been hiring graduates and investing in the field, especially to develop vision applications.

But the authors note that beyond vision, the non-traditional characteristics of meta-optics could also be used for light sails, LiFi and thermal management.

These characteristics come from meta-optics' use of surfaces patterned with regular nanoscale structures, in contrast with the traditional optics of mirrors and lenses. The result is miniature components that scatter and manipulate light in ways that would have astounded Isaac Newton.

The first commercial components using these properties are already on the market, with companies such as Metalenz, NILT technologies and Meta Materials Inc delivering flat metalenses, polarization imaging, microscopy and biosensing.

These devices also enable access to properties of light that the human eye cannot detect—polarization and phase, for example, and even can be used to engineer, manipulate and quantum states of light, that could be employed for quantum imaging, sensing and communications.

But the authors also found challenges for the field. The first of these is the ability to scale up to industrial processes that are compatible with the current industry standard CMOS (Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor) manufacturing techniques—especially because most meta-optical components rely on a transparent substrate, which CMOS is not.

Secondly, they found the ability to make tunable or reconfigurable metamaterials to enable dynamic components—just as the pixels on a TV screen can change color many times per second—was elusive.

"This is an unsolved problem that we put forward as the main challenge for the field. It's the key element for the field, everybody needs it now," Professor Neshev said.

"There is a misconception that it has been done—people do a small step and in their papers project to a faraway future. But no one can actually modulate the phase at a pixel level for a large array."

If these challenges can be solved then meta-optics technology has enormous potential, Professor Neshev said.

"As a platform meta-optics is so flexible it can go into any product—for example, phones, computers, cars, satellites."

"It offers the ultimate in miniaturization of optical components, for size weight and power; it enables a human device interface that not possible with conventional optics—such as 3D vision and augmented reality, that is really hard with conventional optics," Professor Neshev said.

"And lastly, if we can modify the phase of light that passes through a component, then we will be able to do just about any image processing. That will be the big game changer."
