Zelensky Expected To Tell Congress That $45BN In New Aid Is "Not Enough"

Update(10:45ET): Zelensky is reportedly arriving to Washington D.C. aboard a US Air Force plane, according to US officials cited in CNN, after taking a high risk train ride into Poland. White House national security communications coordinator John Kirby said of the impending visit with President Biden, "The President really believes that as we approach winter, as we enter … a new phase in this war, of Mr. Putin’s aggression, that this is a good time for the two leaders to sit down face to face and talk." But this is how Reuters somewhat cynically previewed the visit:

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy headed to Washington on Wednesday to meet President Joe Biden, address Congress and seek "weapons, weapons and more weapons" in his first overseas trip since Russia invaded Ukraine 300 days ago.

Surprisingly, the Associated Press additionally highlighted the latest video address by Zelensky, who yesterday while visiting a frontline fighting area in Bakhmut, said the following at a moment Congress is set to to approve $45 billion more in aid for Ukraine in the proposed massive omnibus package:

"We will pass it on from the boys to the Congress, to the president of the United States. We are grateful for their support, but it is not enough. It is a hint β€” it is not enough," Zelensky said.

Defense minister announces major expansion of Russian army

Sergey Shoigu says the nation’s military should amount to 1.5 million servicemen

Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu has announced the need to make a number of structural changes to the country’s armed forces in light of NATO’s attempts to bolster its presence on Russia’s border and expand its membership to Finland and Sweden.

During a Russian Defense Ministry meeting on Wednesday, Shoigu proposed a number of measures to strengthen the security of the Russian Federation, including creating a special grouping of troops on the country’s northwestern border and expanding Russia’s armed forces to amount to 1.5 million servicemen in total, with some 695,000 of them being contract soldiers.

Shoigu’s comments come as Helsinki and Stockholm have submitted bids to join NATO, citing a perceived threat from Russia in light of its ongoing military operation in Ukraine. Their accession to the US-led bloc is currently stalled by TΓΌrkiye and Hungary, but all other members have already welcomed their membership.

The minister also offered to β€œgradually” change the minimum draft age in Russia from 18 to 21 and raise the maximum age to 30, while also offering all draftees the opportunity to sign a contract with the army from the first day of service.

Shoigu went on to suggest creating a number of new military groupings, including five new artillery divisions, eight bomber aviation regiments, and one fighter regiment, as well as six army aviation brigades.

Russian President Vladimir Putin, who also attended the meeting, approved the proposals for improving the country’s armed forces and instructed Shoigu to report back once these measures are deliberated with the ministerial board. Putin promised to address these proposals in detail later.

During his address to senior defense officials, Putin also emphasized the need to continue to modernize Russia’s nuclear arsenal, describing it as the key to guaranteeing the country’s sovereignty.

Eyes wide shut on the Balenciaga scandal

Some are too quick to explain away and dismiss the fashion brand’s controversial advert featuring children and sexualized teddy bears

The scandal provoked by Balenciaga’s latest advertisement campaigns can be seen as superfluous or understandable, but the real scandal may lie in the way some media outlets have been covering it.

In November 2022, Balenciaga posted an ad campaign on Instagram that featured children holding teddy bears dressed in BDSM gear, and another one in which a bag sits amongst papers that include a text from a Supreme Court opinion in the Ashcroft v. Free Speech Coalition case. The case examined whether laws banning the promotion of child pornography were in line with the First Amendment. The French luxury company apologized, deleted the posts together with its entire Instagram account and took legal action against the set designer, arguing that he was solely responsible. They have, however, already dropped it.

The scandal was as intense as it was brief. People got into analyzing the pictures more closely, even spotting what they interpreted as a drawing of the devil, the name of Baal and a β€œSatanic cult” cloak. Others focused on social media posts by Balenciaga designer Lotta Volkova, which apparently include imagery reminiscent of the controversial teddy bear ads, as well as gore and other questionable content (Volkova has since stated she hasn’t worked with Balenciaga since 2017 and condemns child abuse in any form). Even Kim Kardashian got emotional, though she didn’t go as far as to cut her own ties with Balenciaga. Like with the Epstein-Maxwell case, all the elements are in place for the concerned public to loudly denounce child abuse by powerful people.

One should watch or rewatch β€˜Eyes Wide Shut’, as it seems more relevant than ever. And not only because Nicole Kidman is the new face of Balenciaga. Stanley Kubrick’s last movie is usually described as a simple β€œerotic psychological drama,” but there is more to it. Indeed, the director’s sudden death left the door open to deeper interpretations. His attention to detail was such that it is easy to think he intended to somehow depict child trafficking and prostitution rings run by powerful elites. The teddy bears are one of the details, of course, but there is another, very subtle one, hinting at the fashion industry. Towards the end of the movie, in the article that Tom Cruise’s character reads about the sudden death of a beauty queen, we can see that she was involved with some fashion designer named β€œLeon Vitali.” Leon Vitali was an old friend of Kubrick’s in the real world and had nothing to do with fashion. But he was the actor playing the red-cloaked master of ceremonies during an orgy Cruise’s character saw earlier. Ironically enough, we get this information in the movie from a newspaper.

Do you know talk is a real thing? There is more power in speech than many conceive. Thoughts come from God and are born through the marriage of head and lungs. The head molds the thought into the form of words, then it is born and sounded on the air, which has been, already, in the secret kingdoms of the body, which goes in bearing life and comes out freighted with wisdom.

For this reason, a lie is very terrible, because it is turning mighty and incomprehensible things to base uses, and it is burdening the life-giving element with a foul return for its goodness; but those who speak the truth and whose words are the symbols of wisdom and beauty, these purify the whole and daunt contagion.

The only trouble the body can know is disease. All other miseries come from the brain, and, as these belong to thought, they can be driven out by their master as unruly and unrepentant vagabonds; for a mental trouble should be spoken to, confronted, reprimanded and so dismissed. The brain cannot afford to harbor any but pleasant and eager citizens who will do their part in making laughter and holiness for the world, for that is the duty of thought.

Arizona (Maricopa County) was printing 19" image ballots and the tabulators were programmed to scan 20" ballots. That was the cheat that broke the Maricopa County voting centers on Election Day.

The sitebooks (check in for voters) in Maricopa County gave Democrats the 20" ballot that could be read by tabulators and Republicans 19" ballots that COULD NOT be read by the tabulators. Holy smokes! Team Kari has the goods.

Most of the information we receive today does not come to us directly from the natural world. It still comes via the optic nerve to the brain, but the source is digital media displayed on a monitor or device screen.

Less that 10% of the average person's daily information input is direct sense experience of the natural world. What we imagine we know about the greater, outside world, our fellow humans and the universe is all acquired from TV "news" or "entertainment" programming - TV, movies, games VR and MR are how we form our understanding of greater surrounding social, economic and political reality.

We are entirely dependent on the integrity of MSM/legacy media for our understanding of the reality we share, and legacy media has betrayed us, engaging in massive deception and running 'psyops,' or 'Information Operations,' stories which use information in ways engineered to divide, confuse and terrify us.

Over 90% of all the information we take in about the world, about our reality, our fellow citizens, friends and neighbors, comes to us through a legacy media or big tech driven SCREEN.

*The average American household has only 2.75 people, but 3 TVs and 6 Internet devices.

*The average American family spends more money each month on media consumption than on groceries or electricity.

*The average American consumes 12-15 aggregate hours of digital media per day.

*The average American child consumes more than 10 hours of digital media per day.

*The average American smartphone is checked every 6-12 waking minutes.

With the emergence nonlinear networked communication it became possible to control individual and group information environments at all levels. Modern technologies have made "kinetic war" obsolete.

Information warfare destroys people and countries from within. By controlling the minds of citizens, by exploiting conditioned response with prepared information packages targeted individuals or nations can be (and have been) brought to take ANY specified action (including 'genocide') voluntarily.

Non-linear or Information war tactics involve turning enemy nations against themselves by infiltrating and subverting moral values, teaching children to indoctrinate other children and gradually degrading the whole information infrastructure, from popular entertainment to text books. Occult materials (eg. Catcher in the Rye) are introduced into high school reading lists. False history and false flags are legitimized, self-destructive behaviors are promoted as fashionable, mental illnesses and perversions like pedophilia are normalized by stages, while subversive 'educational' programs like "common core" are promoted to turn kids off learning.

Cultist media gradually, over decades, reduces the public vocabulary, promotes social division, emphasizing inequities, fanning the flames of old grievances, using false flag terrorism to foster or rekindle resentments, falsifying historical records to provide evidence for a shameful cult created US history that never happened. Destroying the story of a nation destroys that nation; the nation falls apart.

Mind war, non linear war, is a highly developed form of conflict, with tested doctrines and a protean tactical repertoire. We don't hear about IO, mind war and it's power and tactics because our entire information distribution infrastructure; the entertainment industry and social media/ tech companies are all controlled by a subversive confederacy of deep state criminals.

It is well to remember we have ALL been deceived. Some may learn sooner, some learn later; but whenever you do, remember fellow citizens still trapped in the matrix of lies and fears and taboos created by sophisticated IO operators for purposes of social control.

VP Harris Demands Social Media Companies "Cooperate And Work With Us" On "Protecting Our Democracy"

Vice President Kamala Harris said on Monday that she expects and β€œwould require” social media companies to work with the Biden administration to prevent so-called misinformation and disinformation, and to β€œprotect democracy.”

During an interview with NPR that aired on Monday, Harris was asked for her thoughts regarding the changes made at Twitter since Elon Musk took over the platform.

β€œI think about this issue a bit differently, which is my deep and profound concern about how misinformation and disinformation have infiltrated information streams in our country,” Harris said.

The vice president pointed to her four years as a member of the Senate Intelligence Committee, during which she was actively involved in the investigation into alleged Russian interference with the 2016 elections.

Harris said that reports on the matter, both classified and public, showed that there was a β€œprofound amount of intentional disinformation and misinformation targeting specific demographics to take advantage of what might be preexisting disparities and skepticism about the role and importance of government.”

She added that this was allegedly done to weaken American democracy.

School district under federal investigation for removal of LGBT library books

The Education Department's Office for Civil Rights opened an investigation earlier this month into a Texas school district regarding its removal of LGBT-themed library books, the Texas Tribune reported.

Granbury Independent School District is under federal investigation for allegedly violating Title IX, which safeguards students from discrimination based on sex, gender, and sexual orientation.

What's the background?

In January, a leaked audio recording captured Superintendent Jeremy Glenn informing the district's librarians that there would be a thorough review of specific titles on the library shelves. He noted that a review committee of parents and educators would be formed to remove books that included content inappropriate for children.

"I don't want a kid picking up a book, whether it's about homosexuality or heterosexuality, and reading about how to hook up sexually in our libraries," Glenn said. "If they want to get more information about how to become transgender, or sex, go to the public library. There's no place for it in our libraries."

Glenn stated that the district would focus on reviewing books containing sexual themes and gender ideology content. According to the superintendent, the school board and concerned parents requested the book review.

"Granbury is in a very, very conservative community. And our board is very, very conservative," Glenn added. "If it is not what you believe, you better hide it. Because it ain't changing in Granbury. And here, in this community, we're going to be conservative."

According to the district, the review process resulted in eight books being removed from school libraries.

"Two of the eight books did have LGBTQ themes, however all of the books that were removed had sexually explicit and/or pervasively vulgar content," the district stated.

In July, the ACLU launched a complaint against the district and accused Glenn's comments of creating a "pervasively hostile" environment for LGBT students.

"In this case it was made very clear, because the superintendent kind of said the quiet part out loud," Chloe Kempf, an ACLU attorney, told the Texas Tribune. "It's pretty clear that that kind of motivation is animating a lot of these policies nationwide."

"These comments, combined with the book removals, really send a message to LGBTQ students in the districts that: 'You don't belong here. Your existence is shameful. It should be censored,'" Kempf added.

If the federal investigation finds that Granbury ISD violated Title IX, the Education Department's Office for Civil Rights can force the district to make policy changes.

Neither Glenn nor the Granbury Independent School District replied to a request for comment, the Texas Tribune reported.

Elite Juilliard school embroiled in massive sex misconduct scandal, renowned professor put on leave

A massive sexual misconduct scandal is rocking the elite Juilliard school of music, as multiple instructors have been accused of discrimination and harassment β€” and one renowned professor has been put on leave after 500 people signed a letter decrying his β€œabuse of women and power.”

Composer Robert Beaser, 68, was sidelined for a pattern of mistreatment that included soliciting sex from students β€” much of which was detailed in a Dec. 12 exposΓ© of the Upper West Side conservatory published in VAN magazine.

β€œSexual discrimination and sexual harassment have no place in our school community. We take all such allegations extremely seriously,” Juilliard spokesperson Rosalie Contreras told The Post on Wednesday as news of Beaser being put on leave emerged.

In one case, Beaser allegedly offered to boost a now-former student’s career, before asking her for sex in return, the publication said.

β€œWhat will you do for me?” he allegedly said.

Beaser β€” who also frequently taught students in his private home β€” joined the Juilliard composition department in 1993, and was department chair from 1994 through 2018.

The school was reportedly made aware of allegations against him in the 1990s and again in 2017 and 2018.

US to provide Patriot missile system to Ukraine

The United States said Wednesday it will provide Ukraine with the advanced Patriot air defense system to help counter Moscow’s relentless aerial attacks.

The system is part of $1.85 billion in assistance unveiled in parallel with a visit to Washington by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, his first trip outside the country since Russia invaded in February.

The announcement is a significant victory for Kyiv, which had repeatedly pushed Washington for the Patriot system, and a strong sign of US support for Ukraine that will help boost the country’s defenses.

β€œToday’s assistance for the first time includes the Patriot Air Defense System, capable of bringing down cruise missiles, short range ballistic missiles, and aircraft at a significantly higher ceiling than previously provided air defense systems,” US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said in a statement.

Ukraine’s air defenses have played a key role in protecting the country from strikes and preventing Moscow’s forces from gaining control of the skies.

But as Russia faced increasing setbacks on the ground, it began systematically targeting critical infrastructure in Ukraine in attacks that have disrupted electricity, water and heat to millions of people.

Made by Raytheon, the MIM-104 Patriot is a surface-to-air missile (SAM) system initially developed to intercept high-flying aircraft.

It was modified in the 1980s to focus on the new threat of tactical ballistic missiles, and proved itself against Iraq’s Russian-made Scuds in the first Gulf War β€” the first time the system was used in combat.

Ballistic missile defense

While Russia has not used many ballistic missiles during its war on Ukraine, Washington says Moscow has discussed acquiring them from Iran.

β€œUnlike the other Western systems that have been provided to Ukraine, (Patriot) has some anti-ballistic missile capabilities (depending on the type of missile being used),” Karl Mueller, a senior political scientist at the RAND Corporation, told AFP.

β€œIf Russia were to acquire substantial numbers of ballistic missiles from Iran, as many have predicted, most other Ukrainian air defense systems would not provide any protection against them,” he added.

Patriot has been proven effective in Saudi Arabia against Iranian-design ballistic missiles fired from Yemen, and primary contractor Raytheon says the system has intercepted more than 150 ballistic missiles in combat since 2015.

When Russia invaded in February, Ukraine’s air defenses largely consisted of Soviet-era planes and SAM systems, which Kyiv used effectively to deny Moscow air superiority.

They have been significantly augmented since the start of the war: the United States provided NASAMS and Germany IRIS-T β€” two advanced systems β€” while older equipment such as the S-300 and HAWK systems and Stinger missiles have also been donated.

Kyiv has used various systems to battle Moscow’s cruise missiles and bomb-like Shahed-136 drones, but modern SAM system launchers and missiles β€” including NASAMS β€” are in extremely short supply.

The goal of Ukraine’s international supporters is to build multi-layer air defenses for the country consisting of low, medium and high-altitude systems that can protect against a variety of threats.

Covid Forever: French PM Calls for Return of Masks in Closed Spaces

During the holiday season, people should once again cover their mouths with masks to prevent another outbreak of the coronavirus, French Prime Minister Γ‰lisabeth Borne said on Tuesday.

Γ‰lisabeth Borne, who was appointed as prime minister earlier this year after President Emmanuel Macron’s re-election, said that France is facing a β€œtriple epidemic” of the seasonal flu, bronchiolitis, and the Chinese coronavirus, threatening to put heavy strains on the public healthcare system.

Therefore, she urged the public to once again wear masks in confined spaces as well as redoubling the call to take a Covid-19 vaccine, noting that they are still freely available in France.

In β€œa message of responsibility to citizens,” the French PM said per broadcaster BFMTV: β€œWe all have a part and a role to play.”

She called on the public to show an β€œact of solidarity” with healthcare workers by putting on masks β€œas soon as we are in an enclosed space where there are many.”

β€œWhen we have to be with the family, we must respect barrier gestures and vaccination, that’s how we help caregivers,” Borne added.

As of Sunday, there were 37,264 new cases reported in France, a decline of 19.7 per cent from the previous week. There has also been a decline for positive test results, with just 28.66 out of every 100 tests given coming back positive, a 26.88 per cent drop since the previous week.

Yet at the same time hospitalisations have actually risen, with 24,173 people in the hospital as a result of the Wuhan virus as of December 16th, an increase of 9.57 per cent over the previous week. Intensive care cases also rose, up 17.35 per cent, with 1,393 people being treated as such.

US sending Patriots to Ukraine under $1.85B aid package

The Biden administration announced Wednesday that it will provide $1.85 billion in military aid to Ukraine, rolling out funding for a Patriot missile battery as Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived in Washington for his first known trip out of his country since Russia invaded in February.

The White House announcement came just hours before Zelenskyy landed at Joint Base Andrews, just outside the capital. The package includes $1 billion in weapons and equipment from Pentagon stocks, including the Patriot battery for the first time, and $850 million in funding through the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative. Part of the USAI will be used to fund a satellite communications system, which likely will include the crucial SpaceX Starlink satellite network system owned by Elon Musk.

β€œAs Russia continues its brutal attacks against critical infrastructure in Ukraine, the United States welcomes President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to Washington, D.C. today to underscore our enduring commitment to the people of Ukraine,” Secretary of State Antony Blinken said in a statement, adding that the U.S. will be providing β€œcritical new and additional military capabilities to help Ukraine defend itself from Russia’s ongoing brutal and unprovoked assault.”

Republicans Poised To Approve Massive FBI Funding Boost In Wake Of Twitter Files Revelations

Republicans are set to approve a massive spending bill which includes billions of dollars in funding for the FBI despite recently leaked information which found the federal agency colluded with Twitter to censor users.

The bill designated $11.33 billion for the FBI β€œto investigate extremist violence and domestic terrorism,” according to a summary of the bill by the House Appropriations Committee. The total is reportedly $569.6 million more than the enacted levels for the 2022 fiscal year and $524 million more than the president requested.

The FBI reportedly paid Twitter $3.5 million dollars as compensation for staff fielding the agency’s requests between October 2019 and February 2021, as was revealed during Elon Musk’s ongoing β€œTwitter Files” series which leaked information showing Twitter’s hand in suppressing users. The files also revealed that the FBI had close relations with Twitter staff and was involved in the suppression of the New York Post article regarding Hunter Biden’s laptop ahead of the 2020 election.

The FBI also flagged specific tweets for Twitter to remove from the platform. Former FBI agents were also employed at Twitter, according to the files.

Additional funding was set aside for United States Attorneys to β€œsupport prosecutions related to the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol and domestic terrorism cases.” The bill budgeted $2.63 billion, which is $212.1 million more than was budgeted for FY 2022.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) will get $1.75 billion to increase responses to gun violence, which is $215.9 million above the enacted level for FY 2022.

The 2023 omnibus bill, which ran up a $1.7 trillion total and was over 4,000 pages in length, lays out Congress’ budget for the upcoming fiscal year (FY). Both chambers of Congress will need to approve the bill before its Friday deadline to avoid a government shutdown.

Republican Rep. Dan Bishop of North Carolina tweeted on Tuesday the most β€œegregious provisions in the bill.” The bill also included funding for LGBTQ programs, a wax museum and upkeep for the Michelle Obama Trail.

Republican Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell supports the omnibus bill, but several House Republicans are encouraging senators to vote β€œno” by threatening to oppose legislation by any senators who support the bill. The letter, which was sent on Monday, was endorsed by Republican House Minority Leader Kevin McCarty on Tuesday, according to The Hill.

The FBI, the House Appropriations Committee, Bishop and McCarthy did not immediately respond to the Daily Caller News Foundation’s request for comment. The ATF declined to comment.

The evidence is in the questions?

Q1 - 'Would the tabulators reject a 19" image ballot if the tabulators were programmed to accept a 20" ballot?

Q2 - 'Were the ballots that were thrown into 'box 3' the ones that the tabulators rejected?

Q3 - Are you aware that the Republican Leaders were telling their constituents to 'vote on election day'?

Fact - Maricopa County admitted that ballots were being shipped to and from Runbeck services for 'ballot imaging'.

Why Was FBI Counter Intelligence Involved With The Seth Rich Case?

The stunning revelations from the Twitter files thanks to the work of Matt Taibbi, Michael Shellenberger and Bari Weiss is providing irrefutable proof that the FBI was working to prevent the election of Donald Trump. When it comes to β€œElection Interference,” it was the FBI, not Russia.

The results released so far detail FBI giving direction to Twitter regarding the 2020 Presidential Campaign. I believe future releases will provide evidence that the FBI, along with the CIA, was working to destroy Donald Trump and prevent him from being elected.

One thing we know with certainty is that the FBI’s Washington Field Office was communicating via email and phone with the FBI Counter Intelligence division at FBI Headquarters about Seth Rich. The only reason the FBI Counter Intelligence division would be involved in any way with an alleged case of a routine murder following an attempted robbery of Seth Rich is because there was foreign involvement. The FBI is trying to bury that fact.

Why is the FBI stonewalling so furiously to keep its communications about Seth Rich and the alleged hack of the DNC by Russia secret? Because Russia did not hack the DNC. This is not my opinion. It is a conclusion of several cyber security professionals that flows from one very specific, easily tested claim made by the discredited Special Counsel, Robert Mueller –- i.e., that Guccifer 2.0 was a fictional identity created by Russian Military Intelligence, aka the GRU. If the GRU had concocted Guccifer 2.0, then the forensic evidence should show that this entity was operating from Russia or under the direct control of entities linked to the GRU.

One type of forensic evidence is meta data. What is meta data? This is geek shorthand to describe physical information or code that is written into a document created by a word processor software when a document is created. This data includes a variety of things, such as the date and time the document was created or modified. It tells you who created the document.

An examination of the Guccifer 2.0 documents shows that the meta data in the Guccifer 2.0 documents were manipulated deliberately to plant Russian fignerprints. This was not an accident nor an oversight due to carelessness by some computer operator.

Special Counsel Robert Mueller is correct in stating that Guccifer 2.0 was a β€œfictious online persona. ” But he is wrong to claim that Guccifer 2.0 was a creation of the Russian Military Intelligence. Guccifer 2.0 appears to be a creation of the CIA and was one character in a broader scheme assembled to paint Donald Trump as a lackey of Vladimir Putin.

World Bank Approves Additional $610 Million in Financing for Ukraine

The World Bank on Tuesday said it had approved an additional financing package totaling $610 million to address urgent relief and recovery needs in Ukraine as the war with Russia continues.

The package includes an additional $500 million loan from the World Bank's International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) that is supported by a guarantee from Britain, and a new project to restore and improve access to health care and address war-related needs for health services, the global lender said.

The aid comes on top of some $18 billion already mobilized for Ukraine by the World Bank, of which some $15 billion has been disbursed.

"Russia's invasion of Ukraine continues to have devastating economic and humanitarian consequences, impacting the health sector, critical energy infrastructure, and transport networks," World Bank Group President David Malpass said in a statement.

The additional $500 million in IBRD lending for the Public Expenditures for Administrative Capacity Endurance (PEACE) Project, will help the Ukrainian government cover expenditures related to child and family benefits, salaries of public employees, and utility payments, the World Bank said.

The remaining $110 million would go to a Health Enhancement and Life-saving (HEAL Ukraine) Project aimed at improving and strengthening primary health care, addressing increased demand for mental health and rehabilitation services due to the war, and restoring services in hospitals that are facing capacity constraints, it said.

Initial funding for the project includes a 100 million euro IBRD loan, backed by a guarantee from the Government of Spain, and a $10 million grant from the Global Financing Facility for Women, Children, and Adolescents (GFF).

Additional funds for the project are expected to grow to a total of $500 million, starting with an upcoming $10 million grant through the Ukraine Relief, Recovery, Reconstruction and Reform Trust Fund (URTF).

The World Bank in October estimated the recovery costs facing Ukraine would amount to nearly $350 billion, but officials say the costs have soared further given Russia's targeting of civilian infrastructure since mid-October.

As of Dec. 6, 507 healthcare facilities in Ukraine - equivalent to 5.5% of public providers - have been destroyed or damaged, the World Bank said.

It said utilization of health services also significantly decreased during the first months of the war, with the number of childhood vaccinations down 40% compared to the previous year.

In September, it said almost a third of people living in Ukraine reported that they could not afford to buy necessary medicines.

Biden Admin to Drop Half a Million on Artificial Intelligence That Detects Microaggressions on Social Media

The Biden administration is set to dole out more than $550,000 in grants to develop an artificial intelligence model that can automatically detect and suppress microaggressions on social media, government spending records show.

The award, funded through President Joe Biden’s $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan, was granted to researchers at the University of Washington in March to develop technologies that could be used to protect online users from discriminatory language. The researchers have already received $132,000 and expect total government funding to reach $550,436 over the next five years.

The researchers are developing machine-learning models that can analyze social media posts to detect implicit bias and microaggressions, commonly defined as slights that cause offense to members of marginalized groups. It’s a broad category, but past research conducted by the lead researcher on the University of Washington project suggests something as tame as praising meritocracy could be considered a microaggression.

The Biden administration's funding of the research comes as the White House faces growing accusations that it seeks to suppress free speech online. Biden last month suggested there should be an investigation into Tesla CEO Elon Musk’s acquisition of Twitter after the billionaire declared the social media app would pursue a "free speech" agenda. Internal Twitter communications Musk released this month also revealed a prolonged relationship between the FBI and Twitter employees, with the agency playing a regular role in the platform's content moderation.

Judicial Watch president Tom Fitton likened the Biden administration’s funding of the artificial intelligence research to the Chinese Communist Party’s efforts to "censor speech unapproved by the state." For the Biden administration, Fitton said, the research is a "project to make it easier for their leftist allies to censor speech."

A spokesman for the National Science Foundation, which issued the research grant, rebuffed criticism of the project, which he said "does not attempt to hamper free speech." The project, the spokesman said, creates "automated ways of identifying biases in speech" and addresses the biases of human content moderators.

The research’s description doesn’t give examples of what comments would qualify as microaggressionsβ€”though it acknowledges they can be unconscious and unintentional. The project is led by computer science professor Yulia Tsvetkov, who has authored studies that suggest the artificial intelligence model might identify and suppress language many would consider inoffensive, such as comments praising the concept of meritocracy.

Tsvetkov coauthored a 2019 study titled "Finding Microaggressions in the Wild," which categorized microaggressions into subcategories, one of which was the "myth" that "differences in treatment are due to one’s merit." Examples of microaggressions laid out in the paper included statements like "Your mom is white, so it’s not like you’re really black," and questions including "But where are you from, originally?"

Tsvetkov also coauthored a July article that analyzed the "prominence of positivity in #BlackLivesMatter tweets" during the June 2020 George Floyd riots. Tsvetkov and her colleagues determined positive emotions like "hope, pride, and optimism" were prevalent in pro-Black Lives Matter tweets, evidence they said contradicts narratives framing Black Lives Matter protesters as angry.

Conservative watchdog groups raised alarm over the Biden administration’s funding of the research, telling the Washington Free Beacon the project represents a White House effort to curb free speech online.

Maricopa County elections director in Lake trial: Election Day wait times based on prior elections

Maricopa County Recorder Stephen Richer sought to dismiss a subpoena requiring his testimony at the trial, but the judge denied the motion.

The civil trial of Kari Lake's lawsuit began Wednesday with the testimonies of Maricopa County Recorder Stephen Richer and Maricopa County Director of Elections Scott Jarrett.

Jarrett explained under direct examination that the vote center wait times were based on prior elections, and calculated that voters would wait in line for about 30 minutes on average. He said that wait times included how long it would take voters to check in at the vote centers. The election director said under cross-examination by defendants' counsel that the average wait time for all voters was less than few minutes on Election Day.

When asked by Lake's legal counsel about reports from poll workers that wait times were over two hours, Jarrett said that those workers could make estimates, but unless they were timing voters, it was an assumption.

Richer was questioned by Lake's attorney Bryan Blehm about his responsibilities as the Maricopa County recorder, which include Early Voting ballots and ballots in drop boxes, including any early ballots dropped off on Election Day.

Under cross-examination by the defendants' legal counsel, Richer said that he had "absolutely not" done anything to make the ballot printers not print correctly or knew of anyone who did.

The second witness to be questioned by Lake's legal counsel is Maricopa County Elections Director Scott Jarrett.

After a decade of election failures in Maricopa County, election officials are on trial this week for their management of the 2022 election.

As the trial for Lake's lawsuit begins Wednesday against Maricopa County election officials and her Democratic gubernatorial opponent, Secretary of State Katie Hobbs, Lake's legal counsel plans to also call Maricopa County Board of Supervisors Chairman Bill Gates to testify about their handling of the 2022 election, according to a court filing on Sunday.

Both Hobbs and Richer sought to quash subpoenas for their testimony, but the judge overseeing the case denied their motions on Monday. Later on Monday night, Hobbs asked the judge to reconsider his denial of her motion. On Tuesday, Lake's attorneys withdrew their subpoena for her testimony. Lake didn't immediately respond to a request for comment on Tuesday.

COVID Vaccine linked to over 750k Deaths in 38 Countries & Mass Depopulation according to Government Reports & Pfizer Documents

Covid-19 vaccination has been linked to a disturbing trend of excess deaths and negative health outcomes, according to official Government data.

In the United States alone, there have been 350,000 excess deaths related to the vaccine by September 2022. Mortality rates per 100,000 are also higher in vaccinated individuals across all age groups, including children.

In Europe, excess deaths among children have increased by a staggering 552% since the European Medicines Agency approved the vaccine for young people. Additionally, confidential Pfizer documents reveal that the vaccine’s ingredients can accumulate in the ovaries, leading to a high risk of infertility in animal studies.

These findings paint a grim picture of the potential dangers of the Covid-19 vaccine and raise serious concerns about its potential to contribute to depopulation on a global scale.

Evidence Covid-19 Vaccination causes Death

It is now officially indefensible to suggest that the Covid-19 injections are not killing people because we have official data published by the UK Government that confirms it.

This data proves that mortality rates per 100,000 are lowest among the unvaccinated in every single age group and highest among the vaccinated population.

The data was published in July by the UK Government organisation known as the Office for National Statistics (ONS), in a report titled β€˜Deaths by Vaccination Status, England, 1 January 2021 to 31 May 2022β€˜, and it can be accessed on the ONS site here, and downloaded here.

The following two charts show the monthly age-standardised mortality rates by vaccination status for non-Covid-19 deaths in England using figures extracted from the ONS dataset –

Facing backlash over FTX scandal, Democrats return millions in donations

According to OpenSecrets,Bankman-Fried gave roughly $40 million in public donations in the 2022 election cycle, with the vast majority, $36.8 million, going to Democrat-affiliated groups.

By Casey Harper | The Center Square

Updated: December 20, 2022 - 11:29pm

The Democrats' Senate Majority Political Action Committee announced Tuesday it would be returning about $3 million in donations from Sam Bankman-Fried, the disgraced FTX CEO who faces criminal charges, including campaign finance charges, after his multi-billion dollar digital asset company collapsed.

β€œFollowing the serious allegations against FTX, Senate Majority PAC previously set aside the contribution amounts from Sam Bankman-Fried and Nishad Singh with the intention of returning the funds once we receive proper direction from federal law enforcement officials based on their legal proceedings,” a spokesperson for the PAC told CNBC on Tuesday.

The PAC is also returning donations from the company’s former head engineer, Nishad Singh.

TheDemocrats' House Majority PAC said they will return about $6 million from the CEO, another of several Democrat-affiliated groups quickly clearing their names from association with Bankman-Fried and FTX.

Bankman-Fried led FTX, a digital asset exchange platform that skyrocketed in popularity and financial success before cratering in recent weeks, losing tens of billions of dollars worth of assets. That scandal has left Democrats facing backlash and questions over donations they received from the CEO.

Bankman-Fried has since been charged with stealing billions of dollars in part to shore up his hedge fund, raising ethical questions and suggesting wrongdoing at the troubled firm.

Shortly after news broke of the scandal, Democrats began to take fire for accepting millions of dollars in political donations from the embattled CEO.

According to OpenSecrets, Bankman-Fried gave roughly $40 million in public donations in the 2022 election cycle, with the vast majority, $36.8 million, going to Democrat-affiliated groups.

β€œThat’s what happens when you are a Democrat mega donor helping to elect liberal politicians – you get treated with a different set of political standards,” Republican strategist and Co-founder of South & Hill Strategies Colin Reed said. β€œIn 2022, he gave $40 million dollars to Democrats and $200 grand to Republicans. Politicians would be wise to rid themselves of this tainted campaign cash and avoid the ongoing headache. This is a guy facing allegations of billions of dollars worth of fraud and is about to pay a huge price for it. Anyone in his orbit is bound to get hit with collateral damage as his fallen star continues its incredible implosion.”

The Washington Examiner reported Tuesday on exclusive emails appearing to show thatBankman-Fried wined and dined top federal regulatorsin October of last year, raising more questions about whether the CEO was able to evade closer scrutiny.

The House Financial Services Committee has launched an investigation into Bankman-Fried and the company. They held a hearing earlier this month.

The ranking Republican on that committee, Patrick McHenry, R-N.C., blasted Bankman-Fried but urged that the entire crypto and digital space not be maligned because of his actions.

"It appears to be the same, old-school fraud, just using new technology," he said at the hearing last week, comparing the alleged fraud to that in other industries. "But it is important to note: we still use railroads, we still buy and sell real estate, and we still rely on businesses to provide services. We have to separate out the bad actions of an individual from the good created by an industry and an innovation."

So, why are those five lawmakers deceiving conservatives? I’ve been asking them for well over a month.

Let’s start with my dear friend, Matt Gaetz. Many of his attacks against Kevin McCarthy are comparisons to Paul Ryan. It’s quite ironic given Matt’s very first vote in Congress was for Paul Ryan as Speaker. Even when we all knew Paul Ryan would never deliver the MAGA agenda.

We had full GOP control and President Trump, with pen in hand, ready to sign America First legislation. This Republican failure is why I ran for Congress.

All that said, Matt Gaetz is one of my favorite members of Congress. America needs his talent and intelligence to work alongside Jim Jordan on investigations for the Judiciary Committee, not blow things up before we begin.

It's clear - the dirty deed occurred in the voting centers (improperly printed ballots) and the Runbeck printing center (replaced incorrectly printed ballots with properly printed ballots changing the vote from Kari Lake to Katie Hobbs (and the AG / SOS votes as well)). The cheat is being laid bare and they're all going to jail.

Woke Nike Was a Playground for Drunken Sexual Predators, According to Just-Released Documents

Nike’s Oregon headquarters was β€” is? β€” an unsupervised playground for male executives who would get β€œsloppy drunk” and sexually harass female employees, according to four-year-old complaints just now unsealed as part of a lawsuit against the company.

The Beaverton, Oregon-based sports apparel company’s then-CEO, Mark Parker, apparently ignored his female employees’ complaints. Parker resigned as CEO in 2020 but still serves as Nike’s executive chairman.

The allegations include the company acting as a β€œboys club” where women are told to β€œdress sexier” and β€œshow some skin.” Another woman claims to have walked β€œinto a campus gym to find a senior staffer receiving oral sex from a female subordinate.”

A third complainant alleged that β€œsloppy drunk” executives pawed at women, or offered career mentoring over dinner but instead asked for sex.

More:

β€œI have twice reported bullying by a senior VP and HR said they would β€˜take care of it,’ β€˜we are coaching them.'” that respondent wrote, adding that she saved copies of emails to HR, which were ultimately never addressed.

β€œI have friends who have reported bullying,” the woman wrote. β€œNo action was ever taken except a β€˜we will talk to them.'”

After all that, you have to wonder if the β€œtalk” consisted of, β€œHey, buddy, did you score?”

Nike denies the allegations, and yet hundreds of employees β€œmarched in protest of the company’s treatment of women at its headquarters” in 2019. That’s more than a year after the company failed to respond to the complaints unsealed this week.

This protest comes about a month after Nike was hit with a damning op-ed in the New York Times by running prodigy Mary Cain that highlighted the obstacles female athletes have faced while training with Salazar, the coach of Nike’s now-shuttered Oregon Project.

When she arrived at Nike for training, Cain said the all-male staff, including Salazar, told her she needed to be β€œthinner and thinner and thinner” if she wanted to improve as a runner. She also said she was β€œemotionally and physically abused by a system designed by Alberto [Salazar] and endorsed by Nike.”

Nike was one of the first major corporations to go woke, embracing Colin Kaepernick to the tune of a million dollars a year or more.

After criminal and drug addict George Floyd died of a fentanyl-induced heart attack during yet another arrest, here’s what Nike had to say:

Don’t pretend there’s not a problem in America. Don’t turn your back on racism. Don’t accept innocent lives being taken from us. Don’t make any more excuses. Don’t think this doesn’t affect you. Don’t sit back and be silent. Don’t think you can’t be part of the change. Let’s all be part of the change.

Accusations of abuse are nothing new for Nike. They were one of the first companies I can recall accused of using overseas sweatshop labor (or even slave labor), paid pennies an hour to produce $300 sneakers.

Why does it seem like wokeness always turns out to be just a cover for predatory men to get away with whatever they like against women β€” and now children, too?

Oh, right. Because it is.

Say what? Gavin Newsom pleased to see California gun control law he signed into law struck down

The law allows private citizens to sue firearms manufacturers. California modeled the law after the Texas abortion bill.

December 20, 2022 - 11:33pm

(The Center Square) - A U.S. District Court judge deemed a California gun control law unconstitutional on Tuesday.

U.S. District Court Judge Roger Benitez determined that Senate Bill 1327, signed into law by California Governor Gavin Newsom earlier this year, is unconstitutional – an outcome Newsom welcomed as it puts a spotlight on similar provisions in Texas law.

The law allows private citizens to sue firearms manufacturers. California modeled the law after the Texas abortion bill, known as SB 8. It allows private citizens to sue abortionists and those who aid and abet in abortions.

Benitez blasted the law in his decision, calling the "fee-shifting" provisions an "unprecedented attempt to thwart judicial review."

"'It is cynical.' β€˜It is an abomination.’ β€˜It is outrageous and objectionable.’ β€˜There is no dispute that it raises serious constitutional questions,'" Benitez wrote in the decision; he was quoting Newsom's vocal opposition to the Texas abortion law at the beginning of the quote.

This California law would have allowed private citizens to sue the manufacturers for up to $10,000, the same amount allowed under the Texas abortion law.

When the Supreme Court ruled that the Texas law could stay in effect earlier this year, Newsom called on the California legislature to create a similar law about guns.

In a statement issued by his office following the gun law ruling, Newsom thanked the judge for declaring the bill he signed into law unconstitutional.

β€œI want to thank Judge Benitez," Newsom said in the release. "We have been saying all along that Texas’ anti-abortion law is outrageous. Judge Benitez just confirmed it is also unconstitutional. The provision in California’s law that he struck down is a replica of what Texas did, and his explanation of why this part of SB 1327 unfairly blocks access to the courts applies equally to Texas’ SB 8. There is no longer any doubt that Texas’ cruel anti-abortion law should also be struck down."

"With today's ruling, it is hypocritical to let Texas use procedural rules to shield its laws from review and then say that California cannot enact the very same rules in its laws," his office wrote. "As the Supreme Court has recognized, β€˜in the law, what is sauce for the goose is normally sauce for the gander.’"

To be fair, don't know how many trial lawyers who bear the burden of proof would want to go to trial on this time frame with what appears to be most pretrial evidentiary and other rulings omitted. No Motions in Limine. No pre-trial briefings or witness lists. Expert's inspection just finally allowed yesterday. All adverse circumstances favor the defense in my opinion. If Keri Lake's team pulls this off under these circumstances, it will be a miracle, in my opinion. And miracles do happen…

Democrat senator demands FBI explain how often it hacks Americans(kek how many democrats were hacked, assholes stop giving them more money if you don't want them to hack!)

Wyden asked the FBI how many operations it has carried out using hacking and how many were authorized by the courts.

Updated: December 21, 2022 - 8:45am

Sen. Ron Wyden (D-Ore.) is demanding for the FBI to answer questions about its policy about hacking Americans and its use of a controversial surveillance system.

"The American people have a right to know the scale of the FBI’s hacking activities and the rules that govern the use of this controversial surveillance technique," Wyden said in a letter Tuesday to FBI Director Chris Wray.

The FBI obtained Pegasus spyware from the Israeli company NSO Group,

The New York Times reported earlier this year. The agency said without giving a reason that it declined to deploy NSO's hacking tool that can be used to completely control a person's phone without their knowledge.

Wyden asked the FBI how many operations it has carried out using hacking and how many were authorized by the courts.

He also demanded to know whether any legal barriers would prevent the agency from using NSO or similar tools in the future.

The Oregon Democrat's letter comes as public figures such as Elon Musk and Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wisc.) are calling for a Church-style committee to probe allegations of corruption in the FBI and the U.S. intelligence community.

β€œShould We Let Someone Who Was Elected by Cheating and Fraud Stay in Office and Continue to Destroy our Country?” – President Trump on FBI and Twitter Collusion

Last night, Jesse Watters shared his thoughts about Big Tech and FBI collusion on FOX News.

If we’ve learned anything, it’s that the government’s no longer in it for the little guy. They’re in it for themselves and it’s been in the works for years.

President Trump responded to Jesse Watters’s monologue about the Deep State agreeing that the FBI and Twitter did collude to elect Joe Biden.

β€œThe FBI and Twitter COLLUDED to elect Joe Biden.” Jesse Watters. In other words, the 2020 Presidential Election was RIGGED & STOLEN. It all began a long time ago, they SPIED on my campaign, and tried to β€œRIGG” the 2016 Election, but failed. Remember, our government is doing this, not a person or party. β€œUnexpected”: MRNA Vaccines Increase Risk of Contracting COVID-19; Each Booster Shot Raises Risk Even More in Study of 51,000 Cleveland Clinic Workers

A stunning pre-print study by the Cleveland Clinic published Monday at medRxiv shows that MRNA vaccines raise the risk of contracting COVID-19 and that each MRNA vaccine booster increases the risk of contracting COVID-19, while those who have not received any MRNA vaccine have the lowest risk of contracting COVID-19. While the increased risk was relatively minimal, the result is the opposite of how the vaccines have been sold and mandated by government authorities. The highest risk was for those who received more than three vaccines.

The study was reported by the Cleveland Clinic’s Nabin K. Shrestha, Patrick C. Burke, Amy S. Nowacki, James F. Simon and Amanda Hagen, Steven M. Gordon.

Quote from the study: β€œThe association of increased risk of COVID-19 with higher numbers of prior vaccine doses in our study, was unexpected.”

In ancient Roman religion, the rex sacrorum ("king of the sacred things", also sometimes rex sacrificulus[1]) was a senatorial priesthood[2] reserved for patricians. Although in the historical era, the pontifex maximus was the head of Roman state religion, Festus says[3] that in the ranking of the highest Roman priests (ordo sacerdotum), the rex sacrorum was of highest prestige, followed by the flamines maiores (Flamen Dialis, Flamen Martialis, Flamen Quirinalis) and the pontifex maximus. The rex sacrorum was based in the Regia.[4]

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rex_Sacrorum

In ancient Roman religion, the Flamen Quirinalis was the flamen or high priest of the god Quirinus. He was one of the three flamines maiores, third in order of importance after the Flamen Dialis and the Flamen Martialis. Like the other two high priests, he was subject to numerous ritual taboos, such as not being allowed to touch metal, ride a horse, or spend the night outside Rome. His wife functioned as an assistant priestess with the title Flaminicia Quirinalis.[1]

In Roman mythology and religion, Quirinus (/kwΙͺˈraΙͺnΙ™s/ kwi-RY-nΙ™s,[2] Latin:Β [kαΆ£Ιͺˈriːnʊs]) is an early god of the Roman state. In Augustan Rome, Quirinus was also an epithet of Janus, as Janus Quirinus.[3]

Ya. The answer should have been, 1. because the duplicated ballot was not provided with the adjudicated ballot, he has no idea if was tabulated and, 2. he didn't work the polls, so how could he possibly know if any of adjudicated ballots were tabulated., His only job was to forensically examine the ballots that were provided as samples from the 6 precincts. And,, ya, the plaintiffs lawyers should have objected. HOPEFULLY they are able to correct the record on redirect! Sheesh.

Report: Omnibus Bill to Include Electoral Count Act that Was Crafted in Response to January 6

The omnibus spending bill will include the Electoral Count Reform and Presidential Transition Improvement Act, a bill that was drafted in the wake of the January 6 Capitol Riots to amend the Electoral Count Act of 1887 and change the process for members of Congress to object to the certification of a presidential election, the Washington Post reported on Monday.

The bill would also ensure that the vice president’s role during the certification process is strictly ceremonial.

The Electoral Count Reform Act is supported by Democrat Senate Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and Republican Senate Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY).

β€œOur bipartisan bill is backed by election law experts and organizations across the ideological spectrum and a broad cross section of Senators from both parties,” Collins and Manchin said in a joint statement in September. β€œWe will keep working to increase support for our legislation that would correct the flaws in this archaic and ambiguous law.

Reported to Senate (10/18/2022)

Electoral Count Reform and Presidential Transition Improvement Act of 2022

This bill revises the process of casting and counting electoral votes for presidential elections. The bill also revises provisions related to the presidential transition process.

The bill specifies that the choice of electors must occur in accordance with the laws of the state enacted prior to election day.

Additionally, the bill identifies each state's governor (unless otherwise identified in the laws or constitution of a state in effect on election day) as responsible for submitting the certificate of ascertainment identifying the state's electors. Further, the bill provides for expedited judicial review for any action brought by an aggrieved presidential or vice-presidential candidate arising under the U.S. Constitution or U.S. laws with respect to the issuance or transmission of such a certificate.

The bill revises the framework for the joint session of Congress to count electoral votes and make a formal declaration of which candidates have been elected President and Vice President. Among other changes, the bill (1) specifies that the role of the Vice President during the joint session shall be ministerial in nature, and (2) raises the objection threshold in Congress to at least one-fifth of the duly chosen and sworn members of both the House of Representatives and the Senate.

The bill also revises the presidential transition process, including to (1) allow more than one candidate to receive federal transition resources under certain circumstances, and (2) require additional reporting by the General Services Administration.

Updated: December 21, 2022 - 2:22pm1 of 2

A cybersecurity expert in the civil trial of Kari Lake's lawsuit testified Wednesday that the issues experienced with ballot printers at Maricopa County vote centers on Election Day had to have been intentionally caused by changing the printer settings.

The trial began Wednesday with the testimonies of Maricopa County Recorder Stephen Richer, Maricopa County Director of Elections Scott Jarrett, and cybersecurity expert Clay Parikh.

Parikh, who has previously worked with election systems, testified that the settings on either the printers or the laptops at the vote centers that sent the ballot print jobs to the printers had to have been intentionally changed to cause the printer errors that were experienced on Election Day.

(lying is not a good strategy in court and on the stand)

When asked by Lake's legal counsel about reports from poll workers that wait times were over two hours, Jarrett said that those workers could make estimates, but unless they were timing voters, it was an assumption.

Jarrett also testified that there was no 19-inch ballot design for the 2022 general election, only the August primary, so ballot printers couldn't have printed the wrong ballot.

==Both Hobbs and Richer sought to quash subpoenas for their testimony, but the judge overseeing the case denied their motions on Monday. Later on

Monday night, Hobbs asked the judge to reconsider his denial of her motion==. On Tuesday, Lake's attorneys withdrew their subpoena for her testimony. Lake didn't immediately respond to a request for comment on Tuesday.

Cybersecurity expert in Lake trial:…

2 of 2

Lake's lawsuit was allowed to continue to trial after Maricopa County Superior Court Judge Peter Thompson dismissed 8 of Lake's 10 counts against the defendants while leaving intact counts II ("Illegal Tabulator Configurations") and IV ("Ballot Chain of Custody").

Count II alleges that the malfunctioning of ballot-on-demand printers on Election Day was intentional. To prove this count, the judge wrote, "Plaintiff must show at trial that the BOD printer malfunctions were intentional, and directed to affect the results of the election, and that such actions did actually affect the outcome."

Count IV alleges violations of the County Election Manual enabling ballots to be added to the total. Finding that "whether the county complied with its own manual and applicable statutes is a dispute of fact rather than one of law," the judge denied the motion to dismiss this count.

Maricopa County has a 10-year history of election issues dating back to 2012. In the 2012 and 2014 elections, its counting of early and provisional ballots was marred by long delays.

In the 2016 primary election, the county reduced the number of polling places to 60, down from more than 200 in the 2012 presidential primary, and 400 in the 2008 presidential primary. The sharp reductions caused hours-long lines for voters to cast their ballots. (So they planned to sabotage Trump then but weren’t successful)

The Obama Justice Department sent a letter to the Maricopa County Recorder's Office after the 2016 primary inquiring about the election issues, which occurred under Helen Purcell, a Republican who had held the office since winning the 1988 election. Amid these issues, Purcell lost her 2016 reelection race for county recorder to Democrat Adrian Fontes.

During the 2018 election, dozens of polling locations failed to open on time due to technical issues with election machines, leading to the county's Board of Supervisors retaking control over Election Day voting from the recorder's office.

In 2020, the Arizona state Senate ordered an audit of the presidential contest in the county.

The extensive investigation called into question more than 50,000 ballots cast in the election, including ballots cast by voters from residences they had left. The number of questioned ballots is nearly five times the margin of Joe Biden's victory in the state.

A separate review of Maricopa County'smail ballots in the 2020 found that more than 200,000 ballots with signatures did not match voter files and were counted without being reviewed.

In the 2022 election, at least 70 vote centers in Maricopa County experienced ballot printer issues on Election Day, which resulted in ballot tabulation machine errors.

The county has acknowledged that 70 vote centers had issues, while a report compiling Election Day observations made by GOP roving attorneys found that 72 out of the 115 vote centers they visited had issues. Maricopa County had 223 vote centers operating during the 2022 election, and Lake's lawsuit alleges that 59% of them β€” approximately 132 vote centers β€” experienced machine issues on Election Day.

Meanwhile, Richer, who was elected as Maricopa County Recorder in 2020, started a political action committee in 2021, funded by Democrats, that supports Republican candidates who, according to the PAC, "acknowledge the validity of the 2020 election and condemn the events of January 6, 2021 as a terrible result of the lies told about the November election."

In March, Richer sought support from the Department of Homeland Security's Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) β€” including funding, intelligence, and collaboration with social media β€” in election officials' often controversial efforts to combat purported election misinformation.

Briefing CISA's Protecting Critical Infrastructure from Misinformation and Disinformation Subcommittee, Richer "suggested that CISA hold bootcamps for media representatives such as FOX News or CNN to enhance media's understanding of how elections are administered."

Richer added that the "malinformation" his office has encountered included "Abuse of Arizona's permissive public records process," as they received more than 350 public records requests last year regarding the 2020 election(whine more asshole)

DOE investigating removal of LGBT books from school library

The investigation follows a complaint from the American Civil Liberties Union.

(God save our country from this evil now!)

By Ben Whedon

Updated: December 20, 2022 - 8:37pm

The Department of Education's civil rights division is investigating the removal of LGBT books from a Texas school library.

"The Office for Civil Rights can confirm that there is an open investigation into Granbury ISD under Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972. We do not comment on pending investigations," the department announced in a Tuesday statement, per the Associated Press.

The investigation follows a complaint from the American Civil Liberties Union based on a report indicating thatthe school district in Granbury, Texas, had ordered librarians to remove books addressing sexual orientation and transgender individuals.

Leaked audio material from a meeting with district Superintendent Jeremy Glenn appeared to reveal him saying,"I acknowledge that there are men that think they're women and there are women that think they're men. I don't have any issues with what people want to believe, but there's no place for it in our libraries."(Brave man!)

The district acknowledged it was aware of Glenn's comments and stated the removal of the books followed a recommendation from a review committee that did not include him. The committee convened to pursue compliance with a state order that school libraries not include explicit materials.

The ACLU contended that the decision was motivated by less procedural motivations, pointing to Glenn's comments and asserting "[i]n this case it was made very clear, because the superintendent kind of said the quiet part out loud," said ACLU attorney Chloe Kempf. "It's pretty clear that that kind of motivation is animating a lot of these policies nationwide."

REP. MATT GAETZ: Republicans Need A Real Leader, Not Kevin McCarthy

OPINIONTop GOP Leaders Attend Republican Jewish Coalition Annual Meeting In Las Vegas

Scott Olson/Getty Images

MATT GAETZ SERVES THE PEOPLE OF FLORIDA'S 1ST CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT IN THE UNITED STATES HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES.

December 21, 2022

12:25 PM ET

https://dailycaller.com/2022/12/21/opinion-republicans-need-a-real-leader-not-kevin-mccarthy-rep-matt-gaetz/

On Jan. 3rd, Republicans will start the process of choosing the House Speaker. The Speaker will be second in line for the presidency and the most powerful elected Republican.

The vote will take several ballots and possibly many days. After internal debate, Republicans will come together and pick the right leader for the role and that should not be Kevin McCarthy.

The McCarthy camp is spinning that Kevin must be accepted because β€œwe have to avoid chaos.” Chaos for who exactly? The special interests that are counting on McCarthy as their lapdog? I’m worried about chaos in the lives of my constituents. They live under the chaos of vaccine mandates pushed by Kevin’s donors.

How well did Speaker Paul Ryan serve conservatives during then-President Donald Trump’s first term? Are we glad that his tenure got off to a smooth start? It would have been better to have debated and chosen the right leader. Ryan, of course, supports McCarthy.

Every single Republican in Congress knows that Kevin does not actually believe anything. He has no ideology.

Some conservatives are using this fact to convince themselves that he is the right leader for the moment, as McCarthy is so weak he’ll promise anything to anyone. As his mentor recently confessed, β€œHe lies. He’ll change the lie if necessary.” McCarthy doesn’t just respond to pressure from the Right.

During several important junctures in the past decade, we’ve seen Cavin’ McCarthy.

On Ukraine, McCarthy voted yes for the $40 billion Ukraine aid package in May. He even pushed the Biden administration to further escalate conflict with Russia as he called for fighter jets to be transferred to Ukraine. During the Obama administration, McCarthy called for a no-fly zone to be enforced in Syria while the Russian military was operating there.

McCarthy even bought into the Russia hoax. In June 2016, McCarthy told other GOP congressmen, β€œThere’s two people I think Putin pays: [Rep. Dana] Rohrabacher and Trump.” If he’ll fall for the Russia hoax, you won’t be surprised that McCarthy took a knee to Black Lives Matter when it mattered.

McCarthy joined Democrats last year to vote to remove historical monuments from the U.S. Capitol building. This is who Kevin is. He sticks his wet finger in the air to decide what position to take.

He told confidants that Trump should be censured or resign.

Leaders don’t wait to see what the crowd wants. Leaders also don’t take orders from lobbyists. McCarthy, who was previously honored as one of β€œthe tech industry’s best friends in Congress,” opposes legislation that would break up companies like Amazon and Apple.

Would it surprise you if you found out that Jeff Miller, Kevin McCarthy’s β€œconfidant,” was a registered lobbyist for Apple and Amazon? Apple and Amazon paid Miller’s firm over $1 million to lobby Republican members against breaking up Big Tech.

Why exactly again are we supposed to coronate a man whose top adviser is a corporate lobbyist for the likes of Pfizer?

McCarthy also failed in his duties to deliver a resounding House majority. He told voters we would have a 20-seat plus majority and said that 2022 could be β€œone of the biggest election losses for Democrats.”

Instead, we have a four-seat majority. It could be larger. McCarthy’s campaign to falsely claim Joe Kent is a socialist played a role in Kent’s tight 5,000 vote loss in Washington. Republican nominee Karoline Leavitt had McCarthy working against her up until her September primary. She fell just short in November.

In sports, when the team loses games it is supposed to win, the coach gets fired. In business, when earnings vastly miss projections, the CEO is replaced. In Republican politics, a promotion shouldn’t be failure’s chaser.

McCarthy knows he will end up failing Republicans and caving to liberals. That’s why he opposes reinstating the motion to vacate, which was in place from 1801 to 2018. He wants to make sure conservative congressmen can’t fix the problem once it’s too late.

Major pharmacy chains limit sales of child pain meds amid high demand

(another evil psyop occurring, CDC and FDA involved, I’m sure)

The pharmacies said they remained committed to providing their customers with the products they require, but that lingering supply-chain issues would still impact the volume of product they could sell.

Updated: December 20, 2022 - 4:49pm

Pharmacy chains CVS and Walgreens are imposing limits on the amount of children's pain medication customers can purchase in one instance as demand for them surges.

While Walgreens will limit the purchase of such products online to six per order, CVS has announced a more stringent limit of two per online or in-store purchase, according to The Hill.

In particularly high demand this year are pediatric fever reduction products, in part, due to concurrent surges ofCOVID-19, the flu, and respiratory illness RSV, which the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has dubbed a "tripledemic."(Fuckers! using parents with danger to their children)

The pharmacies said they remained committed to providing their customers with the products they require, but that lingering supply-chain issues would still impact the volume of product they could sell.

"We're committed to meeting our customers' needs and are working with our suppliers to ensure continued access to these items," CVS said, per the outlet.

"While Walgreens continues to have products to support our customers and patients, we have put into effect an online only purchase limit of 6 per online transaction to prevent excess purchasing behavior," said the other pharmacy chain.

Complicating matters is an ongoing antibiotics shortage that has at least partially stemmed from the spread of RSV, which has greater potential for severe symptoms in children.

"What we are seeing is record levels of RSV in young children. Usually, we see a spike in December or January, but it's earlier this year," Yale Medicine infectious disease specialist Scott Roberts said in late November. "COVID is still the most prevalent virus in the community, but it's on a downward trajectory, while RSV and flu are increasing."

Colorado Republican Rep. Lauren Boebert has a response to criticism from Georgia Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene about Boebert’s stance on potential GOP House Speaker Rep. Kevin McCarthy.

β€œI’ve been asked to explain MTG’s belief in Jewish space lasers, why she showed up to a white supremacist’s conference, and now why she’s blindly following Kevin McCarthy and I’m not going to go there,” Boebert told the Daily Caller.

β€œThe only person who can answer for Marjorie’s words and actions is Marjorie. Let me be very clear, I support President Trump. Period. President Trump is a friend and the leader of the Republican party,” Boebert added.

Greene tweeted, β€œI’ve supported and donated to Lauren Boebert. President Trump has supported and donated to Lauren Boebert. Kevin McCarthy has supported and donated to Lauren Boebert. She just barely came through by 500 votes,” in a thread criticizing Boebert.

β€œLauren refuses to endorse President Trump, she refuses to support Kevin McCarthy, and she childishly threw me under the bus for a cheap sound bite,” Greene added.

Boebert expressed her belief that there needs to be an β€œinside conversation” about McCarthy in response to a question about Greene’s endorsement of McCarthy.

I Cannot Vote for Kevin McCarthy as House Speaker

It is time to make a change.

By Andy Biggs

November 17, 2022

https://amgreatness.com/2022/11/17/i-cannot-vote-for-kevin-mccarthy-as-house-speaker/

During this midterm campaign, I attended hundreds of events in my district, around Arizona, and around the country. The issue I was asked about most often was whether I or the Republicans in the House, or the Republicans in the Senate, would keep the same leaders.

Not only did my constituents want the β€œred wave” that didn’t materialize, they also wanted new leadership.

They told me that they want a leader who will take on the Biden Administration. A leader who will not acquiesce in the abrogation of our rights. They want someone who will use every tool, every procedure, and all of the processes available to fight against the radical Left they know has taken over our government.

We’re living in a new world. The Left controls every institution. Woke schools. Woke military. Woke corporate board rooms. Woke religious institutions. Over-the-top woke post-secondary education institutions. Bureaucrats in every agency or department at the federal level have gone as far left as they can.

Rightly or wrongly, conservatives and Republicans have been blamed almost as much as the Democrats for this left turn.

Democrats seem not only to have tolerated the radicals in their midst, but they have also embraced them and put them on pedestals. They can be justly rebuked for that.

But, for conservatives, the Republicans are culpable for failing to put the brakes on the Left. Many of my constituents justifiably turned their ire on Republicans. They want us to fight. They want us to use every tool in the toolbox to prevent the further devolution of our constitutional rights.

That is what I have tried to do every day since I was first elected to Congress.

It is imperative to use every tool to further freedom’s cause, and every implement to prevent the progress of the malevolent policies of the radical leftists that control the Democrats.

I urged current Republican House leaders to use β€œmust-pass” legislation as leverage to change bad policies. For instance, the National Defense Authorization Act is a bill that gives Republicans tremendous leverage because most Democrats don’t want to support our troops, so the bill needs Republicans’ support to pass.

We could have leveraged it to exclude many provisions that advanced wokeism, such as the establishment of a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Office. How about cleaning up the bill by eliminating a provision that provided banking provisions for marijuana dispensaries, which has nothing to do with funding our military? And, most importantly, we could have demanded that military personnel dismissed from service solely for refusing the COVID vaccine be reinstated. We didn’t do any of that. That was a missed opportunity.

There will be more opportunities in the next term of Congress.

We need a leader who will open up the process to members of Congress by moving congressional authority away from the leadership and toward the members.

We need a leader who will be an open and honest broker, facilitating the kind of comity that inspires all members of Congress to come together. Why not eliminate massive, multi-subject bills? We should be handling more streamlined, single-subject bills. And, we should make sure every member has at least 72 hours to read every bill before it comes to the floor. Robust debate should be encouraged, as well as the opportunity for members to offer amendments on legislation.

The Republicans in Congress have decided it’s better to cling to the status quo than to make change. I was told in 2020 that we were in the minority and shouldn’t make changes to our leadership. This year, I was told we would have a β€œred wave” gaining 25 seats or more, so we wouldn’t want to change our leader, that our leaders earned the right to lead again.

Now I am told that we will barely have a three-seat majority, so we must not change leaders in order to protect unity.

I disagree. I believe it is time to make a change. Those thoughts are most immutable. Our current candidate for speaker doesn’t have the 218 votes necessary to become speaker on January 3, 2023.

I do not believe he will ever get to 218 votes, and I refuse to assist him in his effort to get those votes.

In the end, I must concur with my constituents: it is time to make a change at the top of the House of Representatives. I cannot vote for the gentleman from California, Mr. McCarthy.

Trump declines to make RNC chair endorsement of Dhillon or McDaniel: 'I like them both'

Under McDaniel's leadership, Republicans lost the House in 2018, the White House and underperformed in 2022.

By Madeleine Hubbard

Updated: December 19, 2022 - 9:22am

Former President Donald Trump said he will not endorse RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel's bid for reelection or Harmeet Dhillon, one of his attorneys seeking the post.

"I think they’re both good," Trump told Breitbart News on Friday. "I like them both."

The reelection team for McDaniel, whom Trump picked in 2017 to run the RNC, says she has enough votes among the 168 committee members for a fourth term.

Dhillon, a committee member from California, has garnered support from key Republican figures and state groups including the Texas and Arizona Republican Parties as well as longtime RNC member Morton Blackwell, who founded The Leadership Institute, a conservative training group.

Under McDaniel's leadership, Republicans lost the House in 2018, both the presidency and Congress in 2020 and had a lackluster performance in 2022.

FBI warns of dramatic rise in 'financial sextortion' incidents

(Is this a warning to their enemies? Or are they just trying to get ahead of Steve Friends statements that the FBI dropped all child abuse and trafficking cases to hunt J6’ers)

The agencies cautioned that such interactions begin on traditional social media platforms and gaming sites with predators often impersonating female players and targeting younger boys.

By Ben Whedon

Updated: December 19, 2022 - 3:53pm

The FBI, along with Homeland Security Investigations and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, on Monday warned of a consequential rising in the number of children and teens facing coercion to send sexually explicit images for extortion purposes.

"The FBI has seen a horrific increase in reports of financial sextortion schemes targeting minor boysβ€”and the fact is that the many victims who are afraid to come forward are not even included in those numbers," FBI Director Christopher Wray said in a press release. "The FBI is here for victims, but we also need parents and caregivers to work with us to prevent this crime before it happens and help children come forward if it does. Victims may feel like there is no way outβ€”it is up to all of us to reassure them that they are not in trouble, there is hope, and they are not alone."

The agencies stated they have received over 7,000 reports in connection to such schemes in the past year alone, and that these incidents have produced at least 3,000 victims, mostly young boys. Moreover, the release stated that more than a dozen suicides had stemmed from these operations.

The agencies cautioned that such interactions begin on traditional social media platforms and gaming sites with predators often impersonating female players and targeting younger boys. They then use these personas to solicit sexual materials and, upon receipt, demand money to prevent their public release.

National Center for Missing & Exploited Children CEO Michelle DeLaune said "[t]his is a growing crisis and we've seen sextortion completely devastate children and families… As the leading nonprofit focused on child protection, we've seen first-hand the rise in these cases worldwide. The best defense against this crime is to talk to your children about what to do if they're targeted online. We want everyone to know help is out there and they're not alone."

6 undisputed facts about Arizona election: Election Day issues, ballot counts, legal threats

At least 70 of Maricopa County's 223 vote centers experienced election machine problems on Election Day.

Updated: December 19, 2022 - 11:17pm

Following a judge's ruling that 2022 GOP gubernatorial nominee Kari Lake's lawsuit challenging the outcome of the Arizona election will proceed to trial, opposing lawyers will continue to spar over contested facts, such as the number of vote centers affected by machine errors on Election Day. But amid the impassioned arguments about the Arizona election, six key facts aren't in dispute:

  1. At least 70 vote centers in Maricopa County experienced ballot printer issues on Election Day, which resulted in ballot tabulation machine errors.

File

LTR-2022.11.27-Liddy-to-Wright-FINAL.pdf

  1. As of two days after the election, there was a nearly 16,000-ballot discrepancy between the outstanding ballot counts estimated by Maricopa County and the Arizona secretary of state's office. "Unable to currently reconcile SOS listing with our estimates from yesterday," Maricopa County Recorder Stephen Richer wrote in a Nov. 10 email. The county estimated 392,000 ballots left to be counted, while the secretary of state's website said there were 407,664 ballots left. "So there's a 15,000 difference somewhere," Richer concluded.

  1. Maricopa County's Election Day issues prompted Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich's office to send a letter to the county inquiring about "first-hand witness accounts that raise concerns regarding Maricopa's lawful compliance with Arizona election law." The AG's office asked the county about ballot printer issues, difficulties checking voters out so they could cast their ballots at another vote center, and the commingling of non-tabulated ballots in Door 3 of the tabulation machines with tabulated ballots. Maricopa County responded that while the election problems were "regrettable," the number of ballots affected by printer issues were "fewer than 1% of ballots cast" and "every lawful voter was still able to cast his or her ballot."

  1. Hobbs' office threatened the Mohave County Board of Supervisors with possible felony charges if they didn't certify the election by Nov. 28. Two of the supervisors on the board voted to certify the election "under duress."

  1. Cochise County didn't certify its election by Nov. 28, but was then sued by Hobbs' office to certify. On Dec. 1, a judge ordered the county to certify, which they did before the end of the day. Hobbs then asked Brnovich for an investigation into Cochise for not certifying the election by the state deadline.

  1. Maricopa County uses in-person voter turnout data from prior elections for planning placement of vote centers for future elections, but the county also categorizes the data by political party, raising concerns that voters of different parties could possibly have different Election Day experiences based on their location.

""The American public may be shocked but, unfortunately, not surprised to learn their taxpayer funds are being used to promote climate alarmism around the world," Michael Chamberlain, director of the PPT, told Fox News Digital. "The State Department should come clean about which foreign publications, articles, and authors they are forcing American taxpayers to fund."

"However, one thing Protect the Public’s Trust has learned from this FOIA request is that transparency is not one of State’s strengths," Chamberlain said. "The more that is revealed the more it becomes clear why the American public’s trust in its government continues its rapid collapse."

The FPC, which is an agency within the Bureau of Global Public Affairs, was founded in the 1940s to "deepen global understanding of U.S. policy, society, culture, and values through engagement with foreign media." The climate reporting tour was the agency's second-ever event of its kind.

Meanwhile, since President Biden took office, the State Department has boosted its diplomatic efforts related to climate change. Among Biden's first actions in January 2021 was to appoint Kerry to be the SPEC, a State Department role that gives Kerry a seat on the president's Cabinet and National Security Council, but didn't require a Senate confirmation process."

>demoralization

the struggle is real, anon

it's why staying focused on Jesus is the only way to keep from drowning in these last days

it's why Peter was able to get out of the boat and walk on the water… because he kept his eyes focused on the Lord

as soon as he looked away and looked around at his dire situation, he began to sink

the demoralization IS torture

it's time to focus on God alone

connects Orson Welles to "Black Dahlia" Elizabeth Short "Black Betty"?

Welles was good friends with the man who played the assumed Chandler family patriarch in the movie "Chinatown"

Jack Nickelson, again.

John Huston as "Noah Cross"

lawfag here

they are as bad as they seem

since mid 80's lawfags are all trained to support the system

they are worse than nothing

any anon could prepare and conduct a case better

and the judges apply rules like asshats they are - the rules are NOT intended to make it hard or impossible to try a case

the purpose of the trial is to find FACTS

rules are only supposed to prevent unreliable facts from coming in

the judge here actually said that and allowed all the affadavits in

EXCEPT the ones attached to the gasbag attorney affadavit since he CANT be a witness

My take on Ukraine wanting to get billions more and patriot missiles as well as all the other things they are taking from Americans.

They will want to wage the world with all the money we have sent. We have given them a 'leg up' on defense from everyone in the world. Now they can try to take over the whole world. armegged? Americans are less rich, have less ammo, are being starved from fake food and high riced food

We have got to see our enemy for whom they are and arrest them, throw them out of office, hang them as appropriate. Now our lives depend on it.

Extradition of FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried to the US begins

Disgraced FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried completed his extradition paperwork Wednesday and is set to be transported from the Bahamas to the US, where he will face a slew of criminal charges over allegations he defrauded $1.8 billion from investors.

The fallen crypto king and former CEO said he consented to extradition because he wants β€œto make the relevant customers whole,” according to court papers β€” a turnaround after he had initially said he would fight the process.

He arrived in the Magistrate Court building in Nassau, Bahamas, around 11 a.m. Wednesday in a suit and told the judge he is waiving his right to a lengthy extradition hearing.

β€œYes, I do wish to waive my right to such formal extradition proceedings,” he said to Judge Shaka Serville in court. He also said he was in good health.

His lawyer said the alleged conman was β€œanxious to leave” the Bahamas β€” where he had been living when slapped with the charges.

Bankman-Fried, 30, will be remanded into US custody once he arrives in the States, but it was not immediately clear when he would be flown out of the island nation.

The accused grifter played a key role in the quick collapse of crypto currency exchange FTX, and allegedly used investors’ money to fund his Alameda Research hedge fund as well as buy real estate on behalf of himself and his family.

Federal prosecutions charged him with stealing billions in customer money as Alameda Research was sustaining significant loses. On Nov. 11, Bankman-Fried stepped down as CEO of FTX and the firm worth $32 billion said it was bankrupt.

Bankman-Fried is being prosecuted by the Southern District of New York and faces a maximum of 115 years in prison if convicted.

US Attorney Damian Williams said Bankman-Fried’s alleged crimes are among β€œthe biggest financial frauds in American history.” Williams is expected to hold a press conference on the extradition sometime Wednesday.

The ex-CEO has admitted to multiple missteps, but insisted he did not commit any crimes.

Since his Dec. 12 arrest, Bankman-Fried has languished in Fox Hill Prison in the Bahamas, which was chastised by the US State Department last year for being overrun with rodents, overcrowded and lacking plumbing.

If he doesn’t get bail in New York, he is likely to be locked up in Brooklyn’s notorious Metropolitan Detention Center as he awaits trial.

Editing my prior post. I was wrong. Missed the evidentiary rulings at the beginning. There were some. But the extremely truncated and expedited schedule would be a challenge to most trial lawyers.

There is a need to uphold the election process and integrity in a timely (expedited) fashion (otherwise any Tom, Dick or Harry could hold up the finalization of any election and transfer of power could be held up, resulting in uncertainty and potential chaos).

But existing current guardrails seem to to favor rubberstamping election results:

(a) challenge too soon and you don't have standing; challenge after the election and you've waiting too long - Catch 22;

(b) Bring lawsuit making allegations based on usual evidentiary and professional integrity standards - which allegations will be proven through discovery, sworn testimony, subpoenaed records and witnesses, experts, etc., and your lawsuit is dismissed for lack of standing or "no proof" (which "proof" is what would normally occur during the trial, not at the complaint stage), and then media and pundits and know-it-alls endlessly echo "no proof" across all forums - when the process for developing the proof sufficient to establish your case had been denied the complainant.

Just an observer (admittedly not an elections attorney - which is a specialty) but it sure seems as if the current processes for "challenging election results" are in name only (state and federal) and encourage abuse of election processes with no real (effective) safe guards.

To further ensure abusers of the process (i.e., cheaters) succeed, some judges are actually sanctioning, or threatening to sanction, lawyers who dare try to challenge (sending clear deterrent messages to all lawyers who might think about it) and some state licensing boards are putting those lawyers' means of making a living (after significant investments of time and money) in jeopardy by threatening to or actually disbarring them.

Hopefully, next steps coming out of this shining of light onto the 2020 election election challenge problems and this 2022 one in AZ will be election process law reform that safeguards against abuse (and sanctions abusers, not gatekeepers) in transparent, fair, expeditious, and confidence-inducing ways - including meaningful ways to move challenges forward and allow adequate time for the development of proof sufficient to sustain a cause of action without disbarring attorneys for doing so.

The balancing act is tricky because of the abusive explosion of law fare against President Trump, his family, colleagues, supporters, political and business associates - that has been allowed ad nauseum and will no doubt continue into future elections involving him.

But the shutting down of most, and unfair rushing through of the trickle allowed, of election challenges in 2020 and 2022 has to result in more fair election challenges in the future.

With safeguards against abuse of the election process as well as the challenge process.

(Maybe this area of law, like immigration law, is already on the books, just not enforced. The "plandemic" allowed for "emergency" rules that provided so many voting means not allowed by the laws passed by respective legislatures that going back to the actual laws that have been legislated would be sufficient. Or at least a start.)
