anon was pondering world population today.

specifically the question, "why so many human beings?".

some if the thoughts that came to mind:

historically (advertised human timeline) there are periods of large population increases.

just before the increases the method used for the increase is pretty easy to spot.

the there is the possibility of it being currency, power, control.

current advertisements contradict these.

intentional population reduction should reduce / remove these as an answer.

-something seems to be missing here that anon's mind is not grasping. anyone visited here before?

then the possibility of stellar influence came to mind.

a planetary influence which could dramatically reduce the world population.

it makes sense at first, higher population would increase the probability of species survival.

but… there have been many events in earth's past that have dramatically reduced all life on earth.

yet, we still exist.

so species survival would not seem to be the primary answer to the why question.

unless, these stellar threats are cyclical… of increasing and decreasing influence.

still throwing the waffle against the wall, in hopes of gaining more perspectives.
