The University of Lethbridge said a speech by a former Mount Royal University professor, Frances Widdowson, who was fired in 2021 amid an uproar over her residential-school comments, wouldn’t be allowed space on campus.
But the academic said she still intended to show up and give her talk entitled, “How ‘Woke-ism Threatens Academic Freedom.'”
“They will have to call security and forcibly haul me away to stop me,” Widdowson told the CBC in an email on Monday.
And show up she did on Wednesday evening, only to be drowned out by protesters.

Yesterday, The Gateway Pundit reported on a Chinese spy balloon flying over Montana that the Pentagon had been tracking “for days”. The Department of Defense has ultimately decided against shooting it down as it was flying over a sparsely populated area of Montana and didn’t pose an imminent threat.
“The fact that this balloon was occupying Montana airspace creates significant concern that Malmstrom Air Force Base and the United States’ intercontinental ballistic missile fields are the target of this intelligence gathering mission.” said Sen. Steve Daines of Montana in a letter to Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin. “It is vital to establish…any compromised U.S. national security assets, and all telecom or IT infrastructure on the ground within the U.S. that this spy balloon was utilizing.”
Now, the government of Canada is reporting a potential “second incident.”
In a press release posted either late last night or early this morning, Canada said “Canadians are safe and Canada is taking steps to ensure the security of its airspace, including the monitoring of a potential second incident.“
It is unclear if this is referring to a second sighting over Canada of this particular balloon being tracked by the United States or if it is an entirely separate balloon.

According to Bhakdi, the spokesperson said, in reference to the company’s experimental covid “vaccines,” that “we will see to it that Thailand is the first country in the world to declare this contract (with Pfizer) null.”
We are told that the Royal Family in Thailand was directly impacted by Pfizer’s covid injections, which reportedly harmed the king’s daughter, Princess Bajrakitiyabha. Because of this, Thai authorities are working towards ending the country’s relationship with Pfizer.

The SARS-CoV-2 virus is still spreading worldwide, and there is an urgent need to effectively prevent and control this pandemic. This study evaluated the potential efficacy of Egg Yolk Antibodies (IgY) as a neutralizing agent against the SARS-CoV-2. We investigated the neutralizing effect of anti-spike-S1 IgYs on the SARS-CoV-2 pseudovirus, as well as its inhibitory effect on the binding of the coronavirus spike protein mutants to human ACE2. Our results show that the anti-Spike-S1 IgYs showed significant neutralizing potency against SARS-CoV-2 pseudovirus, various spike protein mutants, and even SARS-CoV in vitro. It might be a feasible tool for the prevention and control of ongoing COVID-19.

For the following year, the province counted 341 formal written requests, of which 314 requests were approved, leading to 223 medically assisted deaths in Manitoba last year, compared to 24 when the service became available in 2016.

The Truckers Freedom Convoy – And The Grapes of Wrath

On the first anniversary of the Truckers for Freedom Convoy, I must modify somewhat President Lincoln’s Gettysburg address and state quite unequivocally that “the world will continue to take note and long remember what Canadian Truckers did here, and it can never forget what they achieved here.”
The Convoy has passed through the narrow confines of time and become immortal.
In John Steinbeck’s novel, “The Grapes of Wrath,” (turned into a widely acclaimed film), two Truckers do an enormous good deed to an unsuspecting diner and store keeper.
The very hard times of the great depression (the “Grapes of Wrath”) were of no consequence to the Truckers. With triumphant grace, humble nonchalance, they handsomely reimburse with several dollars, the bewildered store lady for giving two poor kids two nickel-worth of candy, for a penny.
Kris Kristofferson turned this beautiful story into a beautiful song, in which the store lady calls out to the Truckers as they leave – “hey you left too much money.” The Truckers tell her as they pick up their coats to leave, “what’s it to you?”
Here’s what the Canadian Trucker’s Freedom Convoy was to us – a reason to hope again, a reason to believe in humanity again, a reason for millions of Canadians to show the world that tyranny has a defined lifespan and that peaceful civil disobedience can shake its fragile foundations.
