>I believe they did the "plagues" in the middle ages with poisons; sleeping poisons.

The origin of smallpox is unknown. The finding of smallpox-like rashes on Egyptian mummies suggests that smallpox has existed for at least 3,000 years. The earliest written description of a disease like smallpox appeared in China in the 4th century CE (Common Era). Early written descriptions also appeared in India in the 7th century and in Asia Minor in the 10th century.

Prior to them messing with the calendar, the new year started in March. This would also explain why December(Deca) is the 10th month and not the 12th. October (Octa) would be the 8th month. Each New moon signified the beginning of a new month.

So technically, March 21, 2023 is actually Jan 1st. It makes more sense to start a new year at the beginning of the planting season when life is starting. Not the middle of winter.

It's why Aries is always first on the Zodiac rather than Capricorn.
