Christians have the hardest time learning this. They want to help you so much they'll crusade your ass (weaponize government) if you still refuse to fix yourself.
There's nothing more rewarding, though, than helping someone that has reached that point of wanting to help themselves and willing to let you help them if you have the resources. What's even more awesome is when you are able to do it anonymously.
