As a software anon, I can assure you that it takes a particular type engineering mind to write great code - even the average programmer is shit and writes spaghetti, never mind a coal worker… It's usually a core of 6 programmers that do the heavy lifting the rest are there to throw spanners int the works.

 

Complexity takes down most wannabe coders as a project grows.

Agreed, but object oriented languages that encapsulate function from interface work if you know what you're doing at the system level… average programmers, unless writing a simple script will create dependencies across the system - wastes a lot of time fixing that shit.
