Not an expert but I went to Sedona for a gathering put on by Chet Snow in the early 2000's. The skulls Max and Sha-na-ra were both there. At the end of it as they were packing up, they were both next to each other on a table. I put my right hand on Max and left on Sha-na-ra. Not too many humans have done that, probably. In the individual sessions with each of them, we got to feel them for a few minutes. Max was definitely male and Sh-na-Ra femmale. They each had different energies. Max was very matter of fact. Sha-na-ra was softer, don't know how else to describe it. It was pretty cool.
I also got to meet and hang out with the late Nick Nocerino, who was an absolute hoot. Great guy. It was an amazing experience all around
It was funny. I lived in Houston at the time. I didn't know Max actually "lived" 1/2 south of me. Had to go to Sedona to "meet" him. kek It was a great experience. They are definitely not just hunks of quartz.
