White House chief of staff Ron Klain to step down: NYT

(The Hill) – White House chief of staff Ron Klain, who has served in the position since the start of the administration, is preparing to step down, according to a new report.

Klain will likely leave following President Biden’s State of the Union address on Feb. 7, the New York Times first reported, citing senior administration officials. Klain has told colleagues since the midterm elections in November that he is preparing to leave.

The White House did not respond to a request for confirmation or comment from The Hill.

A successor is not yet in place, but some names floated include Labor Sec. Marty Walsh, senior adviser Anita Dunn, domestic policy adviser Susan Rice, and former coronavirus response coordinator Jeff Zients.

Klain is a longtime adviser to Biden and has been in the role for longer than any other Democratic president’s chief of staff. The White House has experienced very little turnover among top level officials throughout Biden’s tenure.

Biden celebrated two years in office on Friday. Klain, who is known for being prolific on Twitter, said to mark the day: “Two hard years. So much to be done. But so much progress.”

Sure, in comparison to his more serious crimes, but that's why they're using the docs. They don't want to use the real stuff to get him out of the way. The docs will do the trick just fine and minimize the collateral damage.

Simple, Based, True

DeAnna Lorraine: Does Trump’s Continued Promotion of the Bioweapon Injections Make Him a Useful Idiot?

DeAnna Lorraine, host of Shots Fired on Stew Peters Network, joins this episode of The Jeff Dornik Show to break down the concerns we have with Donald Trump refusal to change course on the covid vaxx.

Donald Trump is losing support from his base every day that he continues to promote the covid “vaccines” as one of his greatest accomplishments. During a recent interview, he even claimed that he saved a hundred million lives with the release of the jab, and downplayed the adverse reactions and death.

Sure, his sycophantic base will never even question anything that he does, given their believe that he’s playing 500D chess. However, their excuses are wearing thin in light of the countless deaths occurring daily from young and healthy vaxxed men and women.

DeAnna Lorraine is a former America First congressional candidate and host of the show Shots Fired on the Stew Peters Network. She joined me during today’s episode of The Jeff Dornik Show to have an honest and frank discussion about what we do with Donald Trump in light of his refusal to change course on the covid “vaccines.”

Our conversation came down to this binary choice… President Trump is either naive or trusting the wrong people, which would make him a useful idiot in regards to their ability to manipulate him to ensure the bioweapon injections get into as many bodies as possible. Essentially, he’s a useful idiot. The other option is that he’s in on the entire operation. Neither is a good option. I’d prefer the useful idiot option over the fact that he’s in on it.

Now, some will come back and say that we’re at war, and there will always be casualties in a war, and that this was necessary to ensure that we didn’t have a permanent lockdown. This line of argumentation is insane, at best.

If we were actually at war and half a million innocent civilians were killed, whoever was behind it would be committing war crimes that are on par with Adolf Hitler. I don’t think we want to go down that route. The callousness of that defense is seriously depraved.

So what do we do? Honestly, I’m taking a step back from fully supporting President Trump for the 2024 Election. I’m not jumping on anyone’s bandwagon. He’s going to have to earn my vote. I don’t trust his competition, but we are a long way off and he has plenty of time to change course.

As it stands, let’s make our voices heard and praying that Trump changes course. If he does, he’d be our best chance to help save America if we can re-elect him as president. If not, we’re going to have to weigh our options taking this vitally important issue into consideration.

>Before he bought twitter he was like Trump before he ran for President. Everyone loved him, everyone wanted to be with him and they couldn't wait for the next quote. Now [they] all hate him.

You're on to something anon. They do hate him now. His efforts to turn Twitter into a red pilling machine have been nullified at this point. Maybe a few people were awakened, but, at this point, normies are simply dismissive of Twitter, just like with Truth Social and any other "conservative" outlet.

Very interesting take on the "war"

Famous French Historian: “This War is About Germany”

Historian Emmanuel Todd is one of France’s leading public intellectuals. At the age of just 25, he predicted the collapse of the Soviet Union in his book The Final Fall: An Essay on the Decomposition of the Soviet Sphere. Later in his career, he carried out pioneering work on family structure and how it impacts societal development.

Now at the age of 71, Todd doesn’t seem to mind ruffling feathers – as his remarks in a recent interview with Swiss magazine Weltwoche make clear. “I’ll give you the first interview because you write in German,” he begins by saying. “This war is about Germany.”

About Germany? What does he mean? Todd explains:

The financial crisis of 2008 made it clear that with reunification Germany became the leading power in Europe and thus also a rival of the USA. Until 1989 it was politically a dwarf. Now Berlin showed its willingness to get involved with the Russians. Combating this rapprochement became a priority of American strategy. The United States had always made it clear that they wanted to torpedo the gas agreement. The expansion of NATO in Eastern Europe was not primarily directed against Russia, but against Germany.

Asked who sabotaged the Nord Stream pipelines, Todd replies, “Of course the Americans. But that is completely unimportant. It is normal.”The important question is, “How can a society believe that it could have been the Russians?”

“We are dealing here with an inversion of possible reality,” says Todd. “The newspapers tell us how the Russians are shooting at prisons they have occupied. That they shoot at nuclear power plants that they control locally. That they blow up pipelines that they built themselves.”

It’s clear, then, that Todd subscribes to the theory I first discussed back in August: that the U.S. deliberately provoked conflict between Russia and Ukraine to sabotage the Nord Stream 2 pipeline, thereby ending (or at least severely curtailing) Russo-European interdependence.

Unfortunately, Todd doesn’t provide any specific evidence to back up his provocative claims. So the theory remains speculative. Of course, this doesn’t mean we should accept the conventional narrative that America just really cares about democracy.

So what, in Todd’s view, should be done? “I wish the Germans would understand:The side of the good they want to be on this time is not that of the United States,” he says. “The good means: end this war.”

While Todd certainly represents a minority viewpoint among Western intellectuals, as he himself acknowledges, it’s still worth considering.
