I remember in the early 60s people taking about the guy that designed a carburetor system that got 60 mpg. They paid him a bunch of money for the patent, and then they shelved it. Nothing's changed.

that's correct, imo. I explained to a grandson when he was struggling with some pretty serious stuff recently, and I told him to pray and ask for God's help. His father is is jail on 22 felonies for family abuse, he hasn't had best role model and little God stuff, except from his mom. He responded by saying he wish God was on his side, but it didn't seem like it. I told him he was confused. God is ALWAYS on his side, it's when he gets on God;s side that things get better.
It wouldn't have taken 40 years in the desert if they all had been on God's side, it would have gone much faster.
