Seems like proper declass should be less speculating and story making and more definitive statement making while providing proofs. This just feels like today’s offering from our friendly overlords at Psy Ops R Us.
Trump talks about a lot of things that get speculated over for days, weeks, months, and years on end without anything conclusive ever coming of it. Don’t get me wrong, I’m enjoying the memes this event is providing and am interested to see where it goes. But just because Latin America has its own balloon now does not mean we are going to know anything definitively useful on the subject anytime soon. Feels more like a distraction than declass is all I’m saying. Just ask the Brazil QAnon shaman who showed up not too long ago.

My point is only that the waters are constantly being muddied. Sometimes by well intentioned folks, but more often not. I think it’s optimistic to look at today’s event as some grand declass is all I’m saying.
