Busting That Chinese Spy Balloon Is Harder Than You Think (Updated)

In fact, bringing down this type of balloon may be extremely difficult, as it is likely to be highly resistant to the available weapons. It may look fragile, but the sheer size and construction of a stratospheric balloon makes it all but invulnerable.

 

There is also the problem of getting to it. Such balloons ride high in the stratosphere, far above the airliners. They do this to take advantage of the change in wind direction with altitude to steer themselves to where they are needed like sailing ships, then circling above a point of interest. The U.S. military has its own stratospheric spy balloon program with project like COLD STAR โ€“ short for COvert Long Dwell STratospheric ARchitecture, designed to lurk undetected in enemy airspace.

 

Such balloons typically fly at 80,000 feet or more โ€“ NASAโ€™s version cruises at 120,000 feet.. The U.S. Air Forceโ€™s F-15 Eagle and F-22 Raptor both have a stated operating altitude of around 65,000 feet. While they might be able to get close enough to fire a missile, the balloon may be too high for them to shoot.

 

We know that large balloons are hard to shoot down from previous experience. In 1998 a rogue Canadian weather balloon drifted towards Russian airspace. Fighter jets from Canada, Norway and Sweden attempted to bring it down without success. Two Canadian air force CF-18 fighters hit the balloon with more than 1,000 rounds of 20mm cannon fire off the coast of Newfoundland, riddling it with holes. This was not enough to let a significant amount of gas out, and the balloon continued drifting.

If the Chinese balloon over the United States is in fact a spy balloon, James Lewis, director of the Strategic Technologies Program at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, said there might also be cameras or telecommunications equipment potentially capable of relaying information back to other nations. But itโ€™s difficult to tell exactly what the balloon is being used for without getting a hold of the device itself.

 

โ€œIf you really wanted to know what it was, youโ€™d shoot it down,โ€ Lewis said. โ€œYouโ€™d get the sensor package and youโ€™d see โ€” does it collect intelligence? Does it collect weather data?โ€

 

The balloon is expected to continue its wavering path across the U.S. mainland for the next few days and posed no serious physical or intelligence threat, according to the Pentagon.

 

U.S. military leaders said they advised against shooting it down because they worried about civilians getting injured by debris.

 

Itโ€™s not clear what the balloon is using to maneuver through the stratosphere. Some high-altitude balloons are carried by the current, while others may use a semiautonomous navigation system to set their course. In some cases, they navigate by finding a wind current heading in the intended direction and lock into it by moving up or down in the air.

Anyone with a VHF ham radio and some technical now how can contact the ISS via APRS on 145.825 MHz. Even if you are not a licensed ham but have one of those cheap Baofeng radios you can listen in and use ISS tracking websites or software to see when it'll be overhead. When it does you will hear the APRS signals being repeated from the station. Due to the protocol it uses (AFSK) it sounds like those old school modems from the 90s.

Huge Stash of Joe Biden Papers Still Hidden at the University of Delaware

 

In all the news of classified documents at Joe Bidenโ€™s homes and elsewhere, one huge pile of documents has been mostly overlooked by everyone โ€“ but not us.

 

Weโ€™ve been fighting in court with the University of Delaware for more than two years for access to Bidenโ€™s Senate papers housed there.

 

Hereโ€™s the latest.

 

We filed a reply brief on behalf of the Daily Caller News Foundation in the Supreme Court of Delaware in our appeal of a lower court decision blocking access to Joe Bidenโ€™s senate papers. Weโ€™re asking for limited discovery, including, at a minimum, deposing a university representative.

 

In July 2020 we filed a Delaware Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit after the university denied our April 2020 requests for all of Bidenโ€™s Senate records and for records about the preservation and any proposed release of the records, including communications with Biden or his representatives (Judicial Watch, Inc. v. University of Delaware, (No. N20A-07-001)).

 

Earlier this month we filed an appeal brief with the Delaware Supreme Court after the Superior Court sided with the university, finding that the university had met its burden of performing an adequate search for the requested records. That opinion came after the university had submitted a second affidavit from the universityโ€™s FOIA official stating that no state funds had been spent on maintaining the documents.

 

In our Supreme Court filing, we argue:

 

Despite FOIAโ€™s acknowledgment that โ€œpublic entities, as instruments of government, should not have the power to decide what is good for the public to know,โ€ over the multi-year course of this FOIA proceeding, the Universityโ€™s efforts to satisfy its statutory burden of proof have been parceled out piecemeal, in minuscule increments, and only in response to court orders, entered after briefing by Appellants. When the shortcomings of the Universityโ€™s effort are noted in briefing, the University calls โ€œfoul.โ€ The Universityโ€™s umbrage at these proceedings is misplaced. To date, the FOIA Coordinatorโ€™s efforts (and her recollections of what steps she took) remain untested by cross examination. Appellants have every right to challenge what they believe has been a lackluster effort by the University to satisfy its statutory burden.

 

Separately, in a January 26, 2023, letter to former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, Delaware attorney Ted A. Kittila, who serves as our local counsel, details:

 

Based on what we have learned, there are 1,850 boxes of documents and 415 gigabytes of electronic records. [Emphasis in original] To place this in perspective, we have described the amount of boxes alone as filling approximately two tractor trailer trucks.

 

[W]here are the funds coming from to house and archive the Biden Records? We have heard rumors that comments on a draft of the Gift Agreement may have been located on the Hunter Biden laptop, raising further questions: why would Hunter Biden be commenting on the donation of the Biden Records, and what was his role with respect to the donation?

 

In our view, the United States House of Representatives would have the power to subpoena all of these documents. Unlike an effort to obtain public disclosure of documents under FOIA, a subpoena would have the power to compel the release of these documents. We believe that given President Bidenโ€™s alleged mishandling of documents, it is imperative for the House to review the Biden Records to determine that no classified materials are in the collection, especially given the fact that we do not even know if the person or persons reviewing these documents have security clearance. The House should also be interested in who has funded what is obviously a substantial donation. With the Gift Agreement out of reach, this remains an unanswered concern. Finally, the House should have particular interest in who has had access to the Biden Documents. Even if we were able to obtain access to the Biden Records, we have no idea if there have been documents removed during the course of the Delaware litigation.

 

โ€œThe University of Delawareโ€™s conduct throughout this case totally reeks,โ€ said DCNF Managing Editor Michael Bastasch. โ€œThe American people have a right to know whatโ€™s in President Bidenโ€™s Senate records and why the university is stonewalling our legitimate records request.โ€

 

Congress should follow our lead and immediately move to subpoena, secure, and examine the trove of secret Biden Senate records held at the University of Delaware. We will continue fighting in court to overcome the universityโ€™s desperate secrecy over its deal with Biden to keep these records away from the American people.

Anons may want to delve into the information Iโ€™m about to type out below. Iโ€™ve discussed this in length within my circle of colleagues and are convinced that the balloons being spotted are a combination of misdirection and psyops with electrostatic warfare.

Portion 2: Misdirection

 

Chinaโ€™s deployment of balloons have garnered massive attention. Considering this has happened, it seems that the possibility of the garnered attention was the goal itself. This would mean that the US is being played and that they are currently in full operation, possibly over Taiwan or the nullification of US assets near them.

 

Portion 3: Electrostatic Warfare

 

The rumors that 5G causes Covid-19 were raging and were self-destructing conspiracy theory. No, 5G doesnโ€™t cause Covid. However, 5G has the ability to cause heath problems that are identical to the symptoms of Covid.

 

5Gโ€™s frequencies excite molecule. Like a microwave excites water molecules and that heats your food, 5G excites oxygen molecules to the point where your lungs cannot absorb it into your bloodstream. You essentially asphyxiate and die, as if you had Covid.

The point is to act as a shield against the frequencies so that the oxygen molecules in your lungs can be absorbed and so that your lungs can expel carbon dioxide.
