20 yrs ago today Colin Powell made the case for war against Iraq.
The DC establishment, Rs & Ds alike, w/ few exceptions, blindly trusted the “experts” & marched us off to a war that took nearly 5k US KIA, 1 mil dead Iraqis, the birth of ISIS, rise of Iran & trillions of $ lost.
Now, the same “experts” who got us into Iraq are demanding that we escalate a war w/ Russia for the liberation of another nation. Because these experts have never been held accountable for past failures they see war as only a positive, war time commands & big $ contracts.
