Heliplots are registering a strong quake all over the world as expected. Since it just happened we're only seeing half the deflections vs later on when the whole trace is visible.
Curiously, it is unusual to see such dirty heliplots around the US for the period of the 24 hours leading up to the Turkey quake.
By dirty, I mean look at the trace activity for this small sample of the US NE for the past day. See all that seismic noise. That's unusual. I look at these things almost daily and it was appearing on them all over the country for the past 24 hours. Just odd like the whole US was buzzing heavily.
