The whole "bombshell" photo of DeSantis with the young girls was a futile and, quite frankly, pathetic attempt to smear him. Trump shouldn't have done that and it actually reflects more poorly on him than it does on DeSantis. Not to mention how richly ironic it is/was that Trump would dare to try and smear some one for posing for a picture with young girls.

The only thing the photo of DeSantis shows, without further validated context, is a young teacher holding a beer and posing with his students. Not exactly Pizzagate.

Whoever advised Trump to put that picture out to attack DeSantis (unwarranted btw), should be fired. If Trump alone was the driver behind the release, he seriously needs to reevaluate his strategy.

What exactly can he do about the homeowner's insurance rates. I am not familiar with how the state of Florida ineracts with and/or regulates insurance rates. Maybe they don't, i don't know. In any case, Florida insurance rates are probably higher than most other states simply because of the greater potential for widespread and devastating hurricane damages. It's just a reality and part of the deal with living in Florida.
