Rail War

After the start of a full-scale war in Ukraine, news of sabotage on the railroad began to appear almost every day. On May 1, a bridge in the Kursk region designed for freight train traffic was destroyed in an act of sabotage.

According to the Insider, based on media reports alone,63 freight trains derailed in Russia from March to June 2022. It is almost one and a half times as many as in the same period last year. The geography of wagon derailments shifted to the west, and some of the trains were involved in accidents near military units.

According to Russian Railways and inspecting authorities, most of the accidents were related to the poor condition of the railroad tracks.

According to the Goszheldornadzor data for the 4 months of this year,55.3% of the train wrecks were caused by irregularities in the current state of the track, says partner.ru, the official publication of Russian Railways.

However, the authorities can't ignore the fact that some part of what happens on the railroads is sabotage. On February 24, the first day of the war, the Ministry of Transport ordered to increase the level of security on the railroads in the southern regions. In April, the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine published a telegram in which the heads of certain railroad sections in the Rostov region and Krasnodar Krai were urged to cooperate with the FSB and the police to ensure security on railroad tracks.

However all those measures have so far had little effect: accidents continue to occur, particularly in the border regions. For example, on April 12, residents of the village of Titovka in the Belgorod region on the border with Ukraine woke up to an explosion. Literally within an hour Governor Gladkov tried to explain the situation. In the Shebekino urban district there was damage to the railroad tracks. There are no casualties or victims. Only the railroad track is destroyed. A task force is working at the site. I will report on the causes later. But the governor of Belgorod has yet to offer an explanation. The photographs from the scene show the railroad tracks bent upward, rusty rails and part of the bridge collapsed.

Blah blah blah..

In Russia, anarcho-communists have become the most active subversive force. As The Insider found out, a number of channels have appeared on Telegram since the beginning of the war, posting instructions on how to delay trains or cause accidents on the railroad. Their authors identified themselves as members ofa certain Militant Anarcho-Communist Organization. Since March they have been publishing instructions on sabotage -how to dismantle railroad tracks and not get caught- and reporting on successful operations. Thus, the anarcho-communists took responsibility not only for dismantling and sabotaging railway tracks, butalso for setting fire to cell phone towers(for example, in the village of Belomestnoye in the Belgorod region) and even for setting fire to the cars of regime collaborators.

Moar…

Left-wing terror group Antifa responsible for deadly Amtrak derailment? Alt-left terror group has disturbing history of railway sabotage

Antifa’s history of railway sabotage now comes to light with these shocking facts

Now, in the aftermath of the deadly Amtrak derailment in Dupont, Washington, we have learned shocking facts that point to Antifa’s role in the deadly terrorism act that has spilled blood in Washington:

Antifa sabotaged a train in Olympia, Washington, claiming the train was transporting fracking supplies. In true left-wing Antifa style, 20 – 30 protesters reportedly camped out on the railroad tracks to disrupt rail transport. They then hailed the disruption as a “victory” for left-wing “justice.” This was all covered in The Olympian, a local paper. The Washington Post, a radical left-wing anti-America publisher also owned by globalist Jeff Bezos, who owns the Whole Foods that profited from selling terrorist Antifa gear, published a glowing review of Antifa’s domestic terrorism activities, all but encouraging them to carry out more such acts.

The Antifa-echoing website Puget Sound Anarchists bragged about sabotaging trains in Washington, claiming, “During this week we attached wire and jumper cables to the main Union Pacific rail line running through the state of Nebraska to disrupt rail signals and delay trains that mainly carry coal from the mountainous west to population centers in the east. Inspiration for us came from the blockade in Olympia, Unist’ot’en camp in unceded Wet’suwet’en territory, and other actions large and small across turtle island. until the complete destruction of time itself, love and rage from the middle of nowhere…”

In early 2017, an Antifa website “published an article tacking credit for the sabotage of train tracks in Olympia, WA. In this article they claimed to have poured concrete on the tracks,”reports The Gateway Pundit.

The Antifa-linked left-wing website ItsGoingDown.com also bragged about pouring concrete on train tracks near Olympia, Washington. They have since removed the post, but it was originally found at this link. In typical left-wing rant fashion, this website explained, “This action was done to disrupt the movement of trains carrying proppants used in natural gas fracturing. These train tracks are part of a system of pipelines, fracking wells, mines, clearcuts, control centers, fiberoptics, dams, highways and factories that cover the planet and are physical manifestations of a process that is destroying the ecosystems, cultures, and inhabitants everywhere.”

The NY Post is now reporting that the deadly Amtrak derailment, “may have been caused by the train striking something on the railway,” as published at this NYpost.com link.

Railway sabotage attack foiled in Russia – TASS

Several suspects have reportedly been detained by the state security service at a railway station in the Urals.

The Federal Security Service has announced it foiled a sabotage attempt at a railway facility in the Chelyabinsk Region of Russia’s Urals, TASS news agency reported on Thursday, citing the FSB.

“The FSB … caught three men red-handed as they were trying to disable the traction substation at a station of the South Urals Railway. A can of gasoline, a gas cylinder, a burner, and other items were seized at the crime scene,” an FSB official told the news agency.

The incident was reportedly confirmed to TASS by the regional FSB press service. The allegiance or nationality of the suspects, however, was not immediately known. They have been placed in pre-trial custody for two months under a court order.

In recent weeks, the FSB has made several announcements of foiled terrorist and saboteur attacks, allegedly staged on behalf of Ukraine. In late December, two Russian nationals were killed by FSB operatives in the country’s south. The suspects were allegedly plotting a terrorist attack in Russia before seeking to travel to Ukraine to fight against the Russian military.

Shortly before the incident, the FSB said it had intercepted a group of Ukrainian saboteurs trying to cross into Russia. Four suspects, carrying assorted weapons and explosives, were killed by officers in a firefight.

Deadly Ohio train derailment eerily ‘predicted’ on Netflix: ‘Scary’

By Brooke Kato

February 14, 2023

Life imitates art.

It seems that theNetflix movie “White Noise”somehow eerily predicted the train derailment in Ohio earlier this month, as the fiery crash and fictional blockbuster share some of the same details.

East Palestine, Ohio, resident Ben Ratner, who also played an evacuee extra in “White Noise,” told People that the situation was “scary.”

“Talk about art imitating life,” the 37-year-old father-of-four told the outlet.

The 2022 film is set in a small town where Adam Driver’s character, Jack Gladney, is a Hitler studies professor. Husband to Babette, played by Greta Gerwig, he is forced to navigate his family through a toxic airborne event after a train derails mere miles away from their home.

“And you can just about drive yourself crazy thinking about how uncanny the similarities are between what’s happening now and in that movie,” Ratner said.

Created as fiction, the flick, based on the 1985 book of the same title, strikes haunting similarities to the East Palestine, Ohio, disaster that occurred less than two weeks ago.

On Feb. 3 about 50 miles from Pittsburgh, the small town of 4,700 people was shocked by the catastrophic derailment of a train carrying toxic materials.

Igniting in flames, the blazing train sent plumes of smoke into the air above the crash, and nearby residents were urged to evacuate their homes and flee.

The train was reportedly transporting vinyl chloride, phosgene and hydrogen chloride, among other chemicals.

The 50-car derailment burned for multiple days and posed an explosion threat early on, but the emergency has since been deescalated. Last week, evacuation orders were lifted, but reports of nearby animals falling ill and dropping dead still circulated.

Train that derailed in Ohio carried more toxic chemicals than initially reported

On Tuesday, officials announced that more toxic chemicals were present in the train cars than initially believed. Ethylene glycol monobutyl ether, ethylhexyl acrylate and isobutylene were among the other toxins on board, which can pose adverse health reactions ranging from minor irritation to bloody urine or nervous system depression.

The Environmental Protection Agency is currently working to screen the air and homes to ensure the safety of neighboring residents, adding that they had not yet discovered any concerning levels of toxins.

While officials deemed the area safe so far, “White Noise” now hits a little too close to home for Ratner – both literally and figuratively.

“I went and tried to watch the film a few days ago and couldn’t,” he said. “It wasn’t something I wanted to be entertained by because, for us, it’s a real-life situation.”

But this isn’t the first time a fictional work has seemingly predicted real-life events.
