Pence paradigm shift

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — Former Vice President Mike Pence stopped in Cedar Rapids Wednesday afternoon to rally in support of what he calls parental rights.

Pence visited the Pizza Ranch to oppose Linn-Mar's transgender policy. It lets the student transition socially and without the permission of their parents. Pence's group says they filed a lawsuit against the school district to overturn the policy.

A counter-protest was organized outside the establishment.
