The Russian Kosmos 2499 satellite has been shrouded in mystery since it launched almost a decade ago.

The secret satellite recently broke into 85 pieces and will pose a debris hazard for at least a century.

Experts aren’t yet sure why the satellite broke apart.

We don’t know a lot about the secret Russian satellite Kosmos 2499. But we do know that it just broke apart about 745 miles above Earth, posing a messy mix of debris in a well-traveled orbit.

Ever since launching nearly a decade ago,Kosmos 2499 has proven to be mysterious. Even the fate of the secret satellite’s demise—initially deemed likely from a small explosion on the satellite, potentially due to some sort of failure—is a bit murky.

But now it’s in 85 different pieces, thanks to info via Twitter from the 18th Space Defense Squadron, and what was once a mysterious satellite is now mixing plenty of debris in a well-traveled orbit for many other satellites.

Moscow makes vow over pipeline sabotage probe

The US is “totally ignoring” allegations that it was behind the Nord Stream attack, Russian diplomats have said

Moscow will not allow the investigation into the sabotage of the Nord Stream gas pipelines to be buried, the Russian Embassy in Washington said on Thursday. The statement came after US State Department spokesman Ned Price accused Russia of spreading “lies”about the incident.

The Baltic Sea pipelines built to transport Russian gas to Germany were damaged in September 2022. On February 8, Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Seymour Hersh shared the results of his own investigation, citing a source as claiming that the attack was organized by the US with help from Norway.

Russian Embassy spokesman Igor Girenko accused the US authorities of “totally ignoring”Hersh’s “bombshell investigation.”

“Russia will not allow the sidelining of the situation with the explosions on the critical energy infrastructure,” the spokesman stated.He warned that unexploded mines could still be under the sea.

We consider this incident an act of international terrorism that warrants a comprehensive and independent investigation.

Girenko urged Washington to “abandon baseless accusations” and “at least try to provethat they were not involved in the destruction of the gas pipelines.”

Commenting to reporters on Wednesday, State Department spokesman Price called allegations that the US was behind the blasts “pure disinformation” and “lies that have been parroted by Russian officials.”

Stephane Dujarric, spokesman for UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres, stated on Tuesday that the organizationdoes not have a mandate to investigatethe blasts. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov responded by saying that Moscow “respectfully disagrees,”and Russia has asked the UN Security Council to convene later this month to discuss the matter.

Washington had long opposed the construction of the Nord Stream 2 pipeline, and blacklisted entities linked to the project. It nonetheless rejected Hersh’s investigation as “utterly false.” The journalist stood by his report, claiming in a recent interview with the German press that President Joe Biden “would rather see Germany freeze than Germany possibly stop supporting Ukraine.”

US says ‘partners’ should investigate Nord Stream blasts

The State Department reacted to Russia’s request for a UN probe of the pipeline destruction

The 2022 Nord Stream pipeline explosions did not take place on US soil, so Washington says it would be appropriate for the countries whose territory was involved to investigate the matter, State Department spokesman Ned Price told reporters on Wednesday.

“I would leave it to our partners on whose territory – on whose soil as it were – these blasts occurred to speak to the appropriate investigative mechanisms,” Price said during a daily briefing.

Price declined to comment on the news that Russia has called a session of the UN Security Council for next week, with the intent to seek an international investigation into the September 2022 explosions that damaged the Baltic Sea pipelines previously supplying Russian natural gas to Germany.

“I will repeat what we’ve said before: What we have heard from Moscow, what we’ve heard from the Kremlin, is nothing but a lie.It’s pure disinformation that the US was behind what transpired with Nord Stream 2,the Nord Stream blasts,” Price said. “This is the message that we have conveyed consistently in the face of these lies that have been parroted by Russian officials, and will convey them [sic] again if we need to, in any form.”

Russia has previously said that the UK and US “benefited” from the destruction of the pipelines, but stopped short of accusing Washington outright. Investigative reporter Seymour Hersh, however, did just that in a Substack article published last week. The Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist described how US divers planted the explosives, also alleging that a Norwegian airplane gave the detonation signal.

The White House dismissed Hersh’s story as “utterly false and complete fiction.” Price himself called it “utter and complete nonsense”at a briefing last week, prompting his Russian counterpart, Maria Zakharova, to accuse him of “once again lying live on air, openly mocking journalists who asked fully justified questions.”

In an interview with the German outlet Berliner Zeitung over the weekend, Hersh stood by his claims and said that the incident happened because US President Joe Biden “would rather see Germany freeze than Germany possibly stop supporting Ukraine.”

Meanwhile, when asked about a UN probe into the Nord Stream sabotage, UN spokesman Stephane Dujarric said on Tuesday that the world body would need to “have a mandate, which we don’t, clearly.”

Denmark, in whose waters the explosions happened, is a NATO member. Both Denmark and Sweden – which is trying to join the US-led bloc – have refused to even respond to Russian requests for an investigation. NATO’s current secretary general is a former prime minister of Norway.

NATO reveals new space project

The US-led military bloc seeks to use commercial satellites to improve intelligence gathering

NATO has announced a new space project that aims to create afleet of spy satellites. The initiative, which NATO applicants Sweden and Finland are also taking part in, involves not only national but also commercial assets.

The project, which is called ‘Alliance Persistent Surveillance from Space’ (APSS), was unveiled on Wednesday, with a total of 16 current member states expected to chip in. According to a statement published on NATO’s website, the project will “help streamline data collection, sharing and analysis among NATO Allies and with the NATO command structure.”

Sweden and Finland applied for NATO membership in May of 2022, though their bids have yet to be approved by Hungary and Türkiye. However, despite not being formally admitted into the military bloc, both Stockholm and Helsinki are already participating in joint projects.

APSS will entail the creation of a “constellation,” named ‘Aquila’, of national as well as commercial satellites. It is expected to “provide essential support to NATO’s military missions and operations.”

The military bloc explained that APSS comes as part of NATO’s Overarching Space Policy adopted back in 2019.

At a meeting in London that same year, member statesdeclared space a fifth operational domain, alongside air, land, maritime, and cyberspace.

NATO has raised the alarm over the activities of Russia and China in space, arguing that it is becoming “more crowded and competitive.” The military bloc claimed Moscow’s and Beijing’s counter-space technologies “could restrict Allies’ access to, and freedom to operate in space.”

NATO condemned as “reckless and irresponsible” Russia’s anti-satellite missile test in November of 2021, when a rocket hit and destroyed an inoperable Soviet-era satellite.

Moscow described the test as a way to strengthen its defense capabilities and prevent the “possibility of sudden damage to the country’s security in the space sphere and on the ground.”

Russia rejected Western nations’ suggestions at the time that the resulting debris could endanger the life of astronauts, noting that the “fragments did not represent and will not pose a threat to orbital stations.” The Russian Defense Ministry also pointed out that the US, China, and India had conducted similar tests before.

Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, meanwhile, laid the blame for the arms race in space at Washington’s doorstep.

Commenting on NATO’s space strategy last January, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova branded it “incendiary in nature” and “in line with the destructive policies of NATO member states led by the United States.”

“By doing so, the alliance turns space into a battlefield,” Zakharova warned at the time.

Ukrainian ‘commander’ pictured with ISIS patch

The AP has published images of a supposed unit leader sporting terrorist insignia

The Associated Press (AP) has released a series of photographs - as well as a video clip - purportedly showing several of Kiev's fighters on the frontline in the Donetsk region. One of the soldiers, identified by the outlet as a Ukrainian unit commander named "Kurt", can be seen wearing an ISIS (Islamic State) insignia on his left arm.

This isn’t the first time Kiev’s servicemen and paramilitaries have been caught on camera wearing extremist insignia, with many displaying Nazi tattoos or patches.

In fact, these have often been personally associated with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky. Earlier this week, he published several photos of Kiev’s soldiers on his Instagram account. One of the images featured a serviceman resting in a trench while wearing a ‘totenkopf’ (death’s head) skull patch – a symbol of the 3rd SS Tank Division, infamous for massacring civilians in France and the Eastern Front, including Polish Jews.

In May, Zelensky also shared an image of a soldier with a similar skull-head patch, but later deleted it. In October, he was photographed on a visit to the frontline while being surrounded by security guards wearing the same insignia.

Kiev has denied the presence of any neo-Nazi elements in the country’s military, bluntly dismissing such assertions as “Russian propaganda.”

Moscow, however, has repeatedly pointed to the fact that Kiev openly welcomes fighters with radical nationalistic and neo-Nazi views. One such example is the incorporation of the infamous Azov Regiment – which openly uses the SS-affiliated wolfsangel (wolf’s hook) rune as its official symbol – into Ukraine’s National Guard.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has maintained that the “denazification” is one of the primary reasons Moscow ultimately decided to launch its military operation in Ukraine in late February of 2022.

Everything about this statement from Project Veritas is an exhibition in trying to cover their ass.

Two weeks later…. they release a statement, essentially saying there was never an issue between the board of directors, employees of Project Veritas and James O’Keefe. If there never was an issue, why wait for two weeks to deny it? Yeah, the problems start with the central falsity and go downhill from there.

Obviously, Project Veritas realized the scale of the backlash against them, and they are now trying to backtrack.

Without James O’Keefe there is no Project Veritas. It looks like the team at the organization realized this truth.

Report: FBI Searches, Retrieves Materials from Biden Document Stashes at University of Delaware

The FBI twice searched the University of Delaware in recent weeks for classified documents stashed by President Joe Biden and retrieved materials from two separate locations, according to a report Wednesday evening.

Though the material retrieved by the FBI reportedly did not have classified documents, the agency reportedlydid take certain materials with them. “Investigators retrieved materials from two university locations on two different days. The material did not appear to have classified markings, according to the source, but they are now being reviewed by the FBI,” CNN reported.

That the FBI searched the University of Delaware is notable. According to a Government Accountability Institute analysis, theUniversity of Delaware received more than $6.7 million from anonymous donors from China. The donors include direct funds from the Chinese government.

The university is the second academic institution where searches have occurred for stashes of Biden’s classified documents. Classified documents were found at the Penn Biden Center housed by the University of Pennsylvania, which has also received millions in anonymous donations from China. That trove was found on November 2.

The Department of Justice initially opened an investigation into the scandal on January 12, just after the scandal was leaked to the press on January 9. Lawmakers say if the scandal had not been leaked to the press, the American public would not know of Biden’s wrongdoing.

At least 25 classified documents have been found — some of which are classified as secret. Others reportedly pertain to Ukraine, Iran, and the United Kingdom

White House officials are reportedly suspicious of howBiden’s classified document scandal was leaked to the press after only a select group of White House and DOJ officials knew about the violation. The White House has failed to provide a reason or cause for the initial search.

The FBI search of the University of Delaware is similar to its search of Biden’s Rehoboth Beach home on February 1. The FBI’s search of Biden’s second home discovered stashed notes from Biden’s time as vice president during the Biden administration. Like the University of Delaware, the FBI retrieved those materials.

Critics say the notes from Biden’s home could relate to information associated with the Biden family’s business dealings. The search did not unearth any unclassified documents.

Former Vice President Mike Pence told Breitbart News he will fight back against special counsel Jack Smith’s “unconstitutional and unprecedented” subpoena of him.

Pence, in an interview before he hit the road in Iowa to promote his new effort to protect parental rights, said that the subpoena that the special counsel investigating former President Donald Trump had issued to him does not pass legal and constitutional muster.

“The special counsel subpoena for me, as a former vice president, to appear before the Grand Jury is unconstitutional and unprecedented,” Pence told Breitbart News in an exclusive interview. “I’m going to fight the Biden administration’s Department of Justice (DOJ) on this. I will tell you that I hope as people reflect on my career they will recognize my commitment is to the Constitution of the United States.”

Pence explained that he believes this subpoena violates the U.S. Constitution’s Speech and Debate Clause as it would compel him to testify about his role as president of the U.S. Senate — a role that the vice president of the United States also plays. He said his position is one that the Department of Justice has taken at least twice in the past two years during Democrat President Joe Biden’s administration about him in particular as well raising questions about why the Department of Justice is now being inconsistent in this regard.

“I stood by the express language of the Constitution on January 6 and ensured the peaceful transfer of power and on this matter we’re going to stand firmly on the Separation of Powers and the Speech and Debate Clause that is enshrined in the Constitution,” Pence said. “The Executive Branch may not compel anyone in their legislative duties to appear as the Constitution says ‘in any other place.’ The DOJ knows that. In fact, the DOJ took the position that in my role as President of the Senate that I enjoyed the absolute legal immunity under the Speech and Debate Clause in two separate cases in the last two years but now it seems like we’ve run into that two-tiered system of justice that conservatives have grown accustomed to from Biden’s DOJ. Despite the fact that the DOJ took the position that the Speech and Debate Clause applied to me in my role as the President of the Senate twice in the past two years, now they have issued a subpoena to compel me to testify. So, we’re going to fight it on constitutional grounds.”

Pence said he believes the Department’s inconsistency fits with a pattern of leftist weaponization of the government against conservatives under the Biden administration….

Pence said he believes that conservatives are not being treated equally under the law. He added that he is not afraid to speak up about Jan. 6, 2021—as he has done repeatedly—but that this subpoena would run afoul of the Constitution’s separation of powers.

“I have to tell you equal treatment under the law is the expectation of every American,” Pence said. “Under the last two years under the Biden administration, conservatives have grown accustomed to unequal treatment under the law. Enough is enough. My conviction in this instance is not driven in any way by hesitation to talk about the events of Jan. 6. I have nothing to hide. I’m proud of what we did. It was a tragic day for our nation in the capital. Thanks to law enforcement, we quelled the violence and quickly reconvened and finished our work. I’ve written and spoken very openly about that the last two years. I believe we did our duty, by God’s Grace and under the Constitution, to see to the peaceful transfer of power. I’ve spoken very plainly about how I believePresident Trump’s words that day were reckless. I’ve said President Trump was wrong and I had no right to overturn the election. This is not about the facts. This is about the Constitution. I’ll continue to speak very openly and plainly and write very openly about my experiences that day in January 2021, but I will not do is abandon the principles enshrined in the Constitution of the United States in this or any other way.”…

In almost every deposition, McMillan gets the CPS workers to admit they never sought a court order to take children from families. In other words, they broke the law.

You might remember my reporting on Rachel Bruno’s horrific experience with CPS in California. McMillan sued the county and the hospital involved in the abuse of her children and won seven figures. He is a superhero to the families suffering and struggling with CPS and a legend to me. McMillan is the only lawyer I’ve ever met taking on these cases that most lawyers won’t touch. I interviewed him on my live stream last week. You can see that interview starting at the 2:23:00 mark, and I highly recommend it. McMillan has sacrificed a lot to take these soul-crushing cases. Most attorneys avoid them because the time it takes to unwind a government corruption case will never be repaid with a $10,000 retainer or even a good chunk of the winnings. He donates a lot of his time, and it’s truly a labor of love for the families that have been ripped apart unlawfully by an overreaching, out-of-control state agency. CPS often takes children without a warrant and without “exigent circumstances” that would allow a removal without a court order. McMillan uncovers that, after they take the children, they subject them to medical tests that are nothing less than child abuse (including anal exams). These exams are done on children who aren’t even suspected as victims of sex abuse and could have been taken for the nebulous “neglect” allegation. Despite this, social workers confirm that those children are stripped naked and prodded and probed by strangers in order to determine if they’ve been abused. If they had not been abused, they would certainly feel as if they had been after the exams the social workers describe in graphic detail.
