Weekly New York Fed EURO-US$ Swap/Prop: $391.6m to ECB with BoJ getting $1M

Still at just below $400m a week to prop the EURO and the BoJ got another small amount-keeping these going at this amount(s) are 'tests' as eventually they will get larger and look for a few to the Swiss National Banks towards the end of Q1 (end of March) as they have done that since Q3/4 of last year. Eventually the BoJ will be told to stop selling UST's as when they dois that it causes Yields to rise (values down) and the Federal Reserve cannot have that continue as they will only raise rates probably 2 moar times (@ 25bp) and can't have a bunch of them just show up into the open market like last year's record sales by the BoJ. So they will accommodate them in the same way they do the ECB and Swiss National Bank by doing currency swaps-this marks the 10th small value one to the BoJ since end of Q3 last year.
