There are many that think they are rendering sacred services because they have been learned but I tell you that they have relied on others false interpretations.

Example: A relative just finished listening to Ravi Shinner (A Jew for Jesus) give a discourse on how demons are hereditary or in a lineage and we must cast them out. He quoted

John 9

As he went along, he saw a man blind from birth. 2 His disciples asked him, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?”

He never read the next line: 3 “Neither this man nor his parents sinned,” said Jesus, “but this happened so that the works of God might be displayed in him.

Is this intentional? Because it causes contention between people based on false premises. Did he qoute Dueteronomy 24.16? No, but here it is: 16 “Fathers shall not be put to death for their children, nor shall children be put to death for their fathers; a person shall be put to death for his own sin.

So how is it that demons and sin are hereditary? The blind leading the blind or just people who are causing strife between those not as adept. Because someone will accuse and then render a sacred service of casting out demons.
