100 Percent Fed Up โ€“ The Supreme Court is reconsidering whether to hear a lawsuit filed by Raland J. Brunson that alleges President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, former Vice President Mike Pence, 291 House members, and 94 senators violated their oaths of office by refusing to investigate evidence of fraud in the 2020 election.

 

Brunson initially filed his lawsuit in the Utah 2nd District Court on June 21, 2021, with the goal of proving that, by voting against the proposed investigation into 2020 voter fraud, the defendants violated their sworn oath to โ€œsupport and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domesticโ€ฆโ€

 

After making its way to the Supreme Court, SCOTUS denied Brunsonโ€™s petition. On January 23, Brunson filed a petition for reconsideration.

 

In the petition, Brunson, who is representing himself in the case, argued that the involved lawmakers should face a penalty for violating their oaths of office or else they arenโ€™t binding. โ€œThe Oath of Office requires that aid and comfort cannot be given to those levying war through a rigged election,โ€ wrote Brunson, arguing that a โ€œPresidential rigged election is a threat to the Constitution.โ€

 

โ€œ[W]hen members of Congress become aware of such allegations, an investigation into these allegations is required, or they become violators of their Oath of Office,โ€ Brunson added.

 

Brunson also poses a question to the Supreme Court, asking, โ€œDoesnโ€™t this court have the power to adjudicate these serious claims and to immediately end the conflict and fix the national security breach?โ€

 

On February 1, the Supreme Court set a date to reconsider Brunsonโ€™s hearing for February 17.

Armchair geneticist here. I have been wondering something about blood types. Could some of the "types" be the result of previous genetic experiments by nefarious entities upon humans? Rh factor leads to incompatibility if a pregnant mother is negative and the baby is positive and she is exposed to the baby's blood sensitizing her to react in subsequent pregnancies. Could this happen with "spike", too?

 

Not necessarily related to my question but having fewer proteins on blood cells is possibly protective from COVID illness. So O- is considered the most protective. Rh positive, A, B and AB all represent protein features on blood cells that are absent in O- as I understand it.

EAST PALESTINE, Ohio (KDKA) - While officials continue to say that East Palestine's air and water are safe two weeks after a train derailment, Ohio is setting up a medical clinic so residents reporting issues like headaches can get checked out.

 

In an update on Friday, Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine said the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services will send federal officials to East Palestine to support the clinic at his request.

 

"We know that the science says that East Palestine is safe, but we also know that residents are very worried," DeWine said in a press release. "They are asking themselves 'Is my headache just a headache? Or is it a result of the chemical spill? Are other medical symptoms caused by the spill?' Those are very legitimate questions and residents deserve answers."

 

The teams, which the governor's office said will include national experts on the impacts of chemical exposure, will begin seeing patients early next week. The location of the clinic and hours haven't been announced yet but will be posted on the Ohio Emergency Management Agency's website.

 

The air in 500 homes has been sampled and officials haven't found any volatile organic compounds connected to the train derailment, the governor's office said. '

Belly of the Dragon is a unique hike in southern Utah. It is actually an old drainage tunnel that runs under Hwy 89. The water flow through the tunnel created this ominous passageway. It has since been named Belly of the Dragon, presumably because of the ribcage-looking walls and the style of the long passageway.

 

It is located about 17 miles northwest of Kanab, Utah just outside of Mount Carmel Junction. 3 of the most popular national parks and state parks are nearby. The close proximity (0.3 miles) of the parking area to Hwy 89 makes it a very easy access hike. Many of the most popular hikes in southern Utah require long drives down dirt roads, so this is a nice change.

During the signing ceremony on Friday, the president said that the high price of insulin and EpiPens have cut off low-income people in โ€œdesperateโ€ need of the treatments.

 

โ€œThe four orders Iโ€™m signing today will be on the prescription drug market in terms of pricing and everything else to make these medications affordable and accessible for all Americans,โ€ said Trump, surrounded by health care professionals. โ€œThe first order will require federal community health centers to pass the giant discounts they received from drug companies on insulin and EpiPens directly to their patients. You know insulin became so expensive people werenโ€™t able to use it. They desperately needed it.โ€

 

โ€œWe have it to a level that youโ€™re not going to believe,โ€ he continued. โ€œEpiPens โ€” likewise you have been hearing horrible stories about EpiPens over the last six or seven years, horrible, horrible, horrible increases for where they went to almost nothing to massive amounts of money. Biden Administration Rescinds Trump Administration Insulin Pricing Rule

One of the final healthcare actions made by the Trump Administration has been rescinded by the Biden Administration. On December 23, 2020, the Trump Administration finalized a rule that directed the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to take action to require that federally qualified health centers (FQHCs) make insulin and injectable epinephrine available to certain patients at 340B prices. The Biden Administration delayed the rule twice before it became effective on July 20, 2021, and the first opportunity for HHS to impose the requirements of the rule would have been through grants awarded in fiscal year 2022. So, while the rule has been in effect since July, it has yet to be implemented.

 

In the Federal Register notice rescinding the rule, HHS noted that the rule would have resulted in โ€œexcessive administrative costs and burdensโ€ on health centers. Specifically, the agency took issue with the requirement that health centers would need to create and maintain new practices to determine patientsโ€™ eligibility to receive drugs at or below the discounted price paid by the health center, plus a minimal fee. HHS also noted its belief that the implementation of the Rule would have resulted in โ€œreduced resources available to support critical services to health center patients โ€“ including those who use insulin and injectable epinephrine.

 

HHS further acknowledged concerns expressed โ€œby the vast majority of commentersโ€ that the โ€œlow incomeโ€ definition of 350% of the federal poverty level would have โ€œcreated significant administrative challenges for health centersโ€ and that those challenges would have resulted in a diversion of resources from patient care in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Women who have a BRCA gene mutation have up to a 75% lifetime risk of developing breast cancer and up to a 50% lifetime risk of developing ovarian cancer. A personalized cancer risk management plan for women can include increased and earlier screenings (such as breast MRI and mammogram), consideration of risk-reducing surgeries, and chemoprevention. Russia Starts Testing Its New TrUMP Heavy Drone

 

The maiden flight of the TrUMP drone, which was designed to implement both military and civilian tasks, is expected to take place in April.

The new Russian drone known as the โ€œTransport Aviation Multifunctional Platform,โ€ or by its Russian-language acronym โ€œTrUMPโ€, is undergoing ground tests, a source in the countryโ€™s military and industrial sector told Sputnik.

According to the source, the unmanned aerial vehicleโ€™s developers are due to check the droneโ€™s systems and control mechanisms during the tests, which are conducted ahead of the UAVโ€™s maiden flight, slated for April.

The tests come after Sputnik quoted the source as saying that Russian engineers had developed the TrUMP drone to be capable of delivering up to 250 kilograms of useful cargo for distances up to 600 km (370 miles).

The UAV reportedly has a cruising speed of 195 km (121 miles) per hour, and a flight ceiling of 3,000 meters (1.8 miles). It features a 2,650 liter cargo compartment, and can drop loads via parachute if necessary to the mission.

I teach theology across the street at Asbury Theological Seminary, and when I heard of what was happening, I immediately decided to go to the chapel to see for myself. When I arrived, I saw hundreds of students singing quietly. They were praising and praying earnestly for themselves and their neighbors and our worldโ€”expressing repentance and contrition for sin and interceding for healing, wholeness, peace, and justice.

 

By Thursday evening, there was standing room only. Students had begun to arrive from other universities: the University of Kentucky, the University of the Cumberlands, Purdue University, Indiana Wesleyan University, Ohio Christian University, Transylvania University, Midway University, Lee University, Georgetown College, Mt. Vernon Nazarene University, and many others.

 

The worship continued throughout the day on Friday and indeed all through the night. On Saturday morning, I had a hard time finding a seat; by evening the building was packed beyond capacity. Every night, some students and others have stayed in the chapel to pray through the night. And as of Sunday evening, the momentum shows no signs of slowing down.

 

Some are calling this a revival, and I know that in recent years that term has become associated with political activism and Christian nationalism. But let me be clear: no one at Asbury has that agenda

The DOJ charged Esformes in 2016 with healthcare fraud, money laundering and bribery in a multi-count indictment, and in 2019 Esformes was sentenced to 20 years in prison. In 2020, Trump commuted Esformesโ€™ sentence to time served, based in part on the recommendations of former U.S. Attorneys General Edwin Meese and Michael Mukasey and former Deputy Attorney General Larry Thompson.

 

In the letter, Biggs states that during litigation, a federal magistrate found that the Justice Department prosecutors committed misconduct by reviewing over 70 boxes containing information covered by attorney-client privilege and then tried to cover it up. Biggs mentions that former Attorney General John Ashcroft described the DOJโ€™s behavior as โ€œamongst the most abusiveโ€ he had seen.

 

โ€œFor years, the DOJ has unjustly and unlawfully targeted its political opponents,โ€ Biggs told the Caller before sending the letter. โ€œThe Philip Esformes case highlights what most Americans already know: Our nation has a two-tier justice system and it does not serve the American people fairly. The DOJ is using the Esformes case as a trial case to set aside all clemencies granted by President Trump. This is a reckless move that is contrary to American history and further indicates how weaponized the DOJ has become.โ€

How DEEP does it go?

 

Social media was flooded with posts Friday morning from people complaining about a weird smell in the air and residue on their vehicles from rain that fell Thursday night and into Friday.

 

NBC Connecticut has also received questions and photos of the residue from several viewers.

 

What is causing it? It's not entirely clear.

 

Some have speculated that it could be chemicals from the train derailment in Ohio earlier this month. NBC Connecticut meteorologists aren't sure that could be the case since the fire and chemical release from that derailment happened two weeks ago.

 

NBC Connecticut Chief Meteorologist says it's possible the residue is from dust kicked up from a dust storm in the Plains a few days ago. He says he smelled a chlorine-like odor in West Hartford Friday morning, but he doesn't have an explanation for that.

 

The Department of Energy and Environmental Protection issued a statement Friday that said the agency has been monitoring potential air quality impacts since the derailment and the burn-off of the hazardous chemicals in Ohio. So far, they have not seen any impacts to Connecticut from the incident, according to the statement.

 

The DEEP says they have not been able to determine what is causing the residue on people's vehicles. The agency did originally forecast "good" air quality for Friday, monitor readings today show a moderate amount of fine particulate matter in the air. When there is a moderate reading, the DEEP suggests unusually sensitive people reduce prolonged exertion.

 

The cold front moving through the state today is expected to return the air quality to "good," according to the DEEP.

The mother of a four-year-old boy uses her social media accounts to promote her sonโ€™s transition to a female. Her reasoning for why she is transitioning him is because he likes to dress up and didnโ€™t want to play tee ball.

 

When her child was one and a half years old, he apparently wanted to play dress up with his older sister and wanted his fingernails painted.

 

When he was two years old, he would play dress up at preschool which was another big sign to his parents that he wanted to be a girl. However, just a few years ago, the woke leftโ€™s argument was that boys should be able to play dress up and participate in stereotypical โ€œfemaleโ€ activities without being judged as exhibiting irregular behavior.

 

Now, if a boy wants to do things like play dress up, they clearly want to be a girl.

Then around the age of four, her son โ€œstarted wearing leggings and headbandsโ€ and made comments about wanting to be a girl.

 

So what did the parents do? They decided the ultimate test for their toddler would be to put him on a tee ball team to see if he would want to play.

 

Itโ€™s unclear why they thought this would be the deciding factor in whether or not he was actually meant to be a female. Girls play tee ball too, while plenty of boys donโ€™t like to play the game.

 

Whether or not someone plays tee ball has absolutely nothing to do with gender.

 

However, since their kid didnโ€™t like to play tee ball and didnโ€™t like wearing the uniform, they decided that he was definitely a girl.

 

As someone who is a female, some days my parents couldnโ€™t get me out the door for ballet practice when I was young because I simply didnโ€™t want to go, not because I wanted to be a boy.

 

There is no sound logic in this motherโ€™s argument for why she decided to transition her child who is too young to fully understand the concept of gender.

White House official says Ohio train derailment doesn't qualify for disaster relief

 

'FEMA is on the frontlines when there is a hurricane or tornado. This situation is different,' an official said

 

The Biden administration told Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine that the Norfolk Southern train derailment situation wasn't eligible for disaster relief because what "East Palestine needs is much more expansive than what FEMA can provide."

 

"The Biden Administration is mobilizing a robust, multi-agency effort to support the people of East Palestine, Ohio. Since February 3, the Environmental Protection Agency has had personnel on the ground," an official told Fox News Digital. "FEMA is coordinating with the emergency operations center working closely with the Ohio Emergency Management Agency."

 

"But what East Palestine needs is much more expansive than what FEMA can provide," the statement continued. "FEMA is on the frontlines when there is a hurricane or tornado. This situation is different."

 

The Norfolk Southern train derailed near the Ohio-Pennsylvania, resulting in a days-long fire. Ten of the 50 train cars contained toxic chemicals including vinyl chloride and butyl acrylate, which are combustible liquids. They were siphoned off a few days ago in an attempt to avert an explosion.

 

Residents in the city of East Palestine, where the accident occurred, had to evacuate out of precaution and safety but they remain concerned about the drinking water and how the spill will affect their animals.

 

The anonymous official told Fox that the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Department of Transportation and Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) are on the ground in Ohio and are helping residents.

 

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre confirmed this in a press briefing Wednesday.

 

Gov. DeWine told Fox that his office has been in contact with FEMA but was told that the situation wasn't eligible for disaster relief.

 

Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg drew some backlash for some comments he made that came off as insensitive regarding the situation.

 

"While this horrible situation has gotten a particularly high amount of attention, there are roughly 1000 cases a year of a train derailing. Obviously they have levels of severity," Buttigieg said in a video uploaded by Yahoo News.

 

"Oh I feel much better now," Missouri Sen. Josh Hawley tweeted sarcastically in response to Buttigieg's statement.

NTSB chair suggests anyone 'speculating' about Ohio train disaster is spreading 'misinformation'

 

Theories about "what happened, didnโ€™t happen, or should've happened" are harmful, official says.

 

An official with the Biden administration on Thursday suggested that mere speculation regarding this month's Ohio train derailment constitutes misinformation of some kind.

 

Jennifer Homendy, the chair of the National Transportation Safety Board, assured Americans in a Twitter thread on Thursday evening that the NTSB is "working vigorously to understand what caused this train derailment" so "it never happens again."

 

Further on in the thread, Homendy claimed that "anyone speculating about what happened, didnโ€™t happen, or should've happened is misleading a suffering community."

 

"PLEASE STOP SPREADING MISINFORMATION," she pleaded, citing reported theories about malfunctions in the train's electronically controlled pneumatic brake system.

 

"I urge you: let the NTSB lead the [safety] analysis," Homendy wrote, claiming: "Anything else is harmful โ€” and adding pain to a community thatโ€™s been through enough."

US auditors headed to Ukraine โ€“ WSJ

The State Department, Pentagon and USAID want to put inspector boots on the ground

 

After sending $110 billion worth of military and financial aid to Ukraine for a year, the US is making plans to send auditors and inspectors to Kiev so they donโ€™t have to rely on second-hand reports, the Wall Street Journal reported on Friday citing Pentagon, State Department and USAID officials.

 

The inspectors-general from the three respective agencies told the outlet that so far, oversight was conducted using staff in Poland and Germany. After going to Kiev last month and meeting Ukrainian officials, they decided to send some of their 177 auditors and investigators into Ukraine itself.

 

The trio met with Ukraineโ€™s prime minister, ministers of defense and finance, and the prosecutor general, Defense Department IG Robert Storch told the Journal, adding that they emphasized the US โ€œexpectations for accountability, and also the importance of cooperation with our oversight work.โ€

 

Diana Shaw, deputy IG at the State Department, said the US has given Ukraine โ€œan incredibly large amount of assistanceโ€ in a โ€œvery short timeโ€ and that โ€œAny fraud, waste, abuse that would divert that funding from its intended purpose risks jeopardizing the continued flow of that assistance.โ€

 

The US Congress appropriated more than $113 billion for aid to Ukraine in 2022. In addition to pricey weapons systems and ammunition, Washington has sent Kiev cash so the Ukrainian government can continue to operate. To monitor this flow, the Journal revealed, Washington has relied on staff in nearby countries, the small staff of the US embassy in Kiev, EU officials in Ukraine, and World Bank personnel.

 

โ€œI think we have been as creative and you know, out of the box, forward-leaning with the oversight weโ€™ve been able to accomplish so far. But for real comprehensive, robust oversight, it canโ€™t be done remotely,โ€ said Nicole Angarella, acting deputy USAID inspector general.

 

Shaw explained that the Kiev trip was intended to โ€œassess whether we felt that we needed to have an on-site presence in-country. And so coming back from that trip, I think we feel that we do and so weโ€™re now in the process of pursuing that.โ€

 

The inspectors have โ€œthus far received no reports of major fraud or illegalityโ€ regarding the US aid, according to the Journal. President Vladimir Zelenskyโ€™s recent purges of Ukrainian officials as part of an anti-corruption campaign had nothing to do with US aid, they insisted.

 

WhileStorch(you mean the corrupt one exposed last year?) and Shaw are mainly concerned with the military aid, Angarella is primarily concerned with more than $20 billion the US is sending through the World Bank to pay the salaries of Ukrainian government officials.

 

Cash payments are โ€œthe greatest risk for oversight,โ€ she said. โ€œCash is fungible, and, you know, is always at a higher risk.โ€ According to Angarella, USAID has assessed that โ€œproper controlsโ€ were in place to detect any misuse of funding.

 

While both the ruling Democrats and the leadership of the opposition Republicans maintain the most important thing for the US to do is continue funding Ukraine โ€œfor as long as it takes,โ€ recent polls have shown Americans growing tired of the ever-increasing aid to Kiev while problems mount at home.

 

(The three most untrustworthy agencies in the US, that wasted billions of not trillions annually are going to audit Ukraine. 'Abortion travel agency': Pentagon will allow military members to travel for abortions on taxpayer dime

 

The Pentagon released new policies on Thursday directing the agency to fund out-of-state travel for service members wishing to obtain an abortion.

 

Following an October 2022 memorandum from Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin to protect access to "non-covered reproductive health care," the Defense Department announced three new policies related to abortion and reproductive health care.

 

Under the new policies:

 

Policy 1: Service members who become pregnant now have until 20 weeks gestation to inform their commanders of the pregnancy.

Policy 2: Service members can take 21 days leave to "receive, or to accompany a dual-military spouse or a dependent who receives, non-covered reproductive health care," which includes abortion and other reproductive health care, such as IVF.

Policy 3: Service members will receive travel allowances for themselves and their "dependents to travel to access non-covered reproductive health care" when "non-covered reproductive health care services is not available within the local area of the memberโ€™s permanent duty station," according to the Pentagon.

 

The language "non-covered reproductive health care" is important. Legally speaking, the Defense Department cannot use taxpayer funds to pay for abortions; that would violated the Hyde Amendment.

 

But apparently, it can use taxpayer funds to assist in service members getting abortions. This means that service members stationed in a locality where abortion is not legal will be granted taxpayer funds to travel to another state where abortion is legal to end their pregnancy.

 

The new policies will take effect in 30 days.

What was the reaction?

 

Chairman of the House Armed Services Committee Mike Rogers (R) condemned the new policies, saying they make the Defense Department an "abortion travel agency."

 

"Today, the Biden administration chose to make the Department of Defense an abortion travel agency over a lethal fighting force," the Alabama congressman said. "As I have repeatedly told the political leaders of this administration, taking this action jeopardizes congressional authorizations for our warfighters. I am extremely disappointed the Biden administration chose once again to use our military to placate the radical left."

On Thursday, the lawmakers and EPA officials held a press conference in East Palestine, Ohio to address concerns following the February 3 Norfolk Southern 50-car train derailment that released toxic chemicals into the area and EPA administrator Michael S. Regan was asked if he would let his children drink the water, which residents have worried is contaminated.

 

According to the Daily Mail, Regan said, "Yes, as a father, I trust the science. I trust the methodology that this state is using. And as a parent, I would."

 

According The Post Millennial, Vance recorded a video showing a creek reflecting the rainbow tint that is the sign of chemical contamination. Governor Mike DeWine confirmed that particular stream was contaminated.

 

East Palestine residents had been ordered out of their residences after the train derailed. As The Post Millennial reported, on February 6 authorities began burning off the chemicals to minimize the risk of a vinyl chloride explosion. On February 9 residents returned home and they found the odor of chemicals remaining in the air along with dead fish in rivers and creeks, causing concerns the local water supply had become contaminated.

 

Residents have also complained about a film of soot on their property and that they have suffered from eye irritation and headaches after returning home.

 

Regan said the EPA has been conducting 24/7 air monitoring and that the air is safe to breathe. They have also screened roughly 500 East Palestine homes for contaminants.

 

Fox News reports Regan said, "If those homes havenโ€™t been tested or if theyโ€™re on private well water, I would advise that they get those homes tested and as [Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine] and the State Health Department has recommended, continue to use bottled water until those homes get tested.

 

GOP Congressman Bill Johnson said, "If your home has been air and water tested [and] if youโ€™re still having other symptoms, then you have other decisions that you need to make and let authorities know."

 

The Biden administration has refused requests from Ohio Governor Mike DeWine to provide help via the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to aid in the cleanup.

 

Norfolk Southern Railroad has offered financial compensation to displaced residents but the citizens have noted that the documents presented for signing in order to receive monies include indemnification clauses.

According to the Daily Mail, a Norfolk Southern spokesperson said this was a mistake and, "Those incorrect forms were immediately pulled when the problem was discovered. No one in the community has waived their legal rights against Norfolk Southern through this program or any interaction with us thus far."

Macron opposes regime change in Russia

French President Emmanuel Macron says the root cause of the current conflict in Ukraine is that neither Europe nor Russia โ€œproperly digestedโ€ the end of the Cold War after the fall of the USSR in 1991 and stressed the importance of re-evaluating Europeโ€™s relationship with Moscow.

 

However, he noted that the time for dialogue with Russia has not yet come and that Europe needs to continue providing support, including military aid, to Ukraine and prevent Moscow from achieving a military victory on the battlefield.

 

Speaking at the Munich Security Conference on Friday, Macron gave his take on the โ€œRussian mindset,โ€ stating that after the collapse of the Soviet Union, Moscow โ€œdid not digest the end of an empireโ€ and continued to harbor resentment and an โ€œobsession of a geopolitical empire.โ€

 

At the same time, Macron admitted that the West had also failed to digest its approach towards Moscow, but noted that his assessment and advocacy on this issue may be too late.

 

The French leader went on to state that he doesnโ€™t believe โ€œfor one second in regime change,โ€ arguing that such methods are unlikely lead to anything positive or resolve the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.

 

โ€œWhen I hear a lot of people advocating for regime change, I would just ask them: for which change? Whoโ€™s next? Who is your leader? How to implement it? We experienced several times in the past decade a lot of regime change in a lot of countries. Itโ€™s a total failure,โ€ Macron said.

 

He stressed, however, that it was nevertheless important for Europe to help Ukraine โ€œsave its territory, people and sovereignty,โ€ and help Kiev โ€œcreate something on the groundโ€ that would force Russia to come to the negotiating table on the conditions of Ukraine. He also suggested that the West must find a way to allow Kiev to present something sustainable for Russia itself, but noted that itโ€™s โ€œtoo early to formulateโ€ something like that.

 

Macron is one of the few Western leaders that maintains contact with Russian President Vladimir Putin, even though many of his phone calls have reportedly been at the request of Ukraineโ€™s Vladimir Zelensky, who has outlawed speaking with Russian leadership.

 

And although Macron has repeatedly called for a ceasefire that doesnโ€™t โ€œhumiliate Russia,โ€ he has nevertheless continued to provide Kievโ€™s military with progressively heavier weapons, announcing last month the delivery of infantry fighting vehicles to Ukraineโ€™s forces and hinting at a potential transfers of fighter jets.

EAST PALESTINE, Ohio (WKBN) โ€“ A small device is ready to be used in a small town to make a big impact.

 

East Palestine is excited to make an important medical device available to all 4,700 residents. On Sunday, there will be a special meeting to share more or start signing up.

 

The MyID program is ready to roll out in East Palestine. Itโ€™s a medical information system that helps first responders provide care.

 

How new Ohio voting laws will affect the May primary election

โ€œIt gives us that rapid information that we may need should somebody be unresponsive or having some kind of medical emergency,โ€ said East Palestine Fire Chief Keith Drabick.

 

MyID provides wearable devices or key FOBs that have QR codes. Emergency responders use a camera phone to access important medical information. It shows them the underlying medical conditions people have supplied about allergies, medications and emergency contacts. That information could impact treatment decisions if a person canโ€™t say it. All of the information is HIPPA compliant.

 

โ€œWeโ€™re not doing this to gain anybodyโ€™s information, to try and steal anybodyโ€™s information. Weโ€™re doing this to help the public in medical emergencies,โ€ Drabick said.

 

MyID is available in East Palestine and Unity Township. The fire department will demonstrate it to other departments that provide backup. MyID can be used anywhere.

 

On Sunday, residents can learn more during a special meeting at the East Palestine Community Center.

 

โ€œWe want to bring people in to get signed up, to pick their device that they want, and just so we can see who all is interested in it,โ€ said Darlene Chapman with the East Palestine Fire Department.

 

People who are ready can sign up and pick their device. Itโ€™s free. The village has $5,000 in donations to cover the first phase of 250 devices.

 

โ€œAnybody that skeptical? Please come on down. Sit down, talk to us. Weโ€™ll be happy to show you everything that goes on with it. Weโ€™ll be happy to show you how secure it is,โ€ Drabick said.

 

People who sign up on Sunday could get their devices within a couple of weeks, and thatโ€™s when MyID will go live.

 

Any phone camera can open it, but thereโ€™s no Social Security numbers or insurance numbers that are included in the information.

 

The special meeting goes from noon to 7 p.m. on Sunday. Itโ€™s more of a stop by and get information session.

A panel of Canadian lawmakers has called for the countryโ€™s assisted suicide program to be extended to minors, even in cases where their parents object to the decision to end their lives.

 

The special committee of MPs and senators, which was charged with reviewing Ottawaโ€™s so-called โ€œmedical assistance in dyingโ€ (MAiD) program, issued a series of recommendations this week in Canadaโ€™s House of Commons. The report urged the government to amend its law on assisted suicide to make the service available to minors deemed to have โ€œthe requisite decision-making capacity.โ€

 

Assisted suicide should be available only to โ€œmature minorsโ€ whose โ€œnatural death is reasonably foreseeable,โ€ the committee said. The government would need to establish standards for assessing a youngsterโ€™s capacity to make such a decision, the report added, but the lawmakers offered no specifics on how imminent a personโ€™s death would need to be for the government to help end their life.

 

The committee also suggested that parents or guardians should be consulted on their childโ€™s suicide decision โ€œwhere appropriate.โ€ However, Ottawa also should require that โ€œthe will of a minor who is found to have the requisite decision-making capacity take priority,โ€ according to the report.

 

Another recommendation called for the government to โ€œundertake consultations with minors on the topic of MAiD, including minors with terminal illnesses, minors with disabilities, minors in the child welfare system and Indigenous minors.โ€

 

Critics of Canadaโ€™s MAiD program blasted the panelโ€™s findings. โ€œUnhappy teenagers are such a burden on the welfare state that Parliament believes doctors should be paid to murder them,โ€ podcast host Kevin Michael Grace said.

 

The committee issued its report after hearing from nearly 150 witnesses, Canadaโ€™s Global News reported on Thursday. Many of the witnesses argued that minors are already allowed to make decisions about withholding medical treatment, hastening their death in some cases, and the level of suffering they endure from a terminal illness isnโ€™t a function of age.

 

More than 30,000 Canadians have died by assisted suicide since it was legalized for people with terminal illnesses in 2016. The program was expanded in 2021 to include adults with serious and chronic medical conditions, even if their malady wasnโ€™t life-threatening. Lawmakers were set this year to consider extending MAiD eligibility to people suffering solely from a mental illness, but Attorney General David Lametti announced the tabling of that bill earlier this month.

With more than 2.5 billion monthly active users, YouTube has become the most popular video platform in the world. She has overseen the expansion of the companyโ€™s physical footprint in areas such as New York and San Bruno, California.

 

Wojcicki announced her resignation in a blog post, stating that she would be stepping down from her position to devote more time to her family, her health, and her passion projects. She will continue to have a presence at the company, collaborating with YouTube teams, mentoring staff, and meeting with creators. It is obvious that TikTok and other social media platforms are increasingly challenging YouTube, and the company will need to keep innovating and evolving to stay on top.

 

The ability of YouTube to overcome the difficulties it has recently encountered will also be a determining factor in the companyโ€™s future growth and expansion. Containing the platformโ€™s explosive growth has been one of the biggest challenges. Google and YouTube paid $170 million in 2019 to resolve allegations that the video platform had broken laws governing childrenโ€™s privacy. Along with the coronavirus pandemic and the 2020 elections, Wojcicki faced criticism from leftists for the platformโ€™s inability to thwart supposed โ€œmisinformationโ€ and โ€œdisinformationโ€ campaigns, while conservatives criticized the company for its harsh censorship rules.

I understand the sentiment. The leftist in their "Long March Forward" have normalized treason, sedition and subversion to the point where it is now an accepted practice under the guise of political dissent and discourse.

 

Elected and appointed officials swear the same oath to defend the Constitutiion as our Armed Forces yet, no sooner than they end their oath with "So Help Me God" they set about weakenning, eroding and destroying the Constitution as much as possible.

 

Unfortunately, we are not living in the founding times. Today we are surveilled, spied on, tracked, plotted against and deprived of our God given rights under color of law. So much so that today any attempt to rise up and take back our God given rights and our government by force is known before you get out the front door. You will be met by the infinite power of the state and whatever force they decide is necessary.

 

So, I really do not understand what it is that you are asking anons? If you are stating that all citizens should be charged with treason just because we haven't taken up arms against this usurping government then all I can say is, "you first" anon. Let us know how it goes for you.

I have no solution to this national predicament other than an Article V Convention of States to amend the Constitution and amend it to have some very serious consequences for those who under their authority, consented to by us We, the People, abuse our Bill of Prohibitions. 18 USC 242 "Deprivation of Rights Under Color of Law" is on the books now. We have very few men and women of virtue in key positions of elected office, LE and the judicial branch to enforce it.
