PN>>18388498 BREAKING: A Hazmat crew is being dispatched to the scene of a Union Pacific coal train derailment

Where was hazmat for E. Palestine? They are cleaning up for coal and not toxic chemicals?

Everything is really mismanaged there, is it all the lobbying money Norfolk Southern gave Dewine.

I hope to God they are all exposed and prosecuted for absolute foul hatred they are all displaying daily.

I hope there are competent class action lawsuits starting now for these people. Remember when Trump flew to every national disaster and embraced the people

NATO reacts after Moscow puts major nuclear accord on ice(too bad assholes)

Less arms control makes the world more dangerous, the bloc’s chief Jens Stoltenberg said

Russia should reconsider its decision to suspend the New START nuclear arms control treaty with the US, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg has said.

This comes after Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that Moscow was withdrawing from the last remaining nuclear accord with Washington earlier on Tuesday.

“I regret the decision by Russia to suspend its participation in a New START program,”Stoltenberg told a press conference. “More nuclear weapons and less arms control makes the world more dangerous,” the NATO chief added. “That is why I’m calling on Russia today to reconsider its decision.”

The New START treaty caps the number of warheads and the means of their delivery, as well as allows for inspections of each other’s nuclear arsenal.

The 2010 agreement, signed by then presidents Barack Obama and Dmitry Medvedev, replaced the first START treaty concluded by the US and the Soviet Union in 1991.

Moscow and Washington extended the New START for five years in 2021, when ties between the two powers were already strained. The relations reached a new low after Russia launched a military operation in Ukraine last February and the US, together with other NATO members, began supplying Kiev with weapons.

In late January, Washington accused Moscow of violating the treaty by refusing to conduct inspections. On Tuesday, Putin claimed that the West was directly involved in helping Ukraine conduct drone strikes on Russian airfields that house long-distance nuclear-capable bombers.

According to the president, Russia’s requests for inspections laid out in the treaty have been either ignored or rejected. He said it did not make sense to adhere to the New START treaty any more under such circumstances.

(US, EU and NATO are insane, they are trying to destroy Russia and now they want them to reveal nuclear areas. Too late, the US, EU and NATO started this war with Ukraine, now end it!)

Putin accuses NATO of direct involvement in attacks on Russia

Experts from the US-led bloc helped equip Ukrainian combat drones that struck deep across the border, the president says

NATO helped Ukraine conduct drone attacks on Russian airfields that house long-distance nuclear-capable bombers, President Vladimir Putin said on Tuesday. He made the statement during the annual address to the Federal Assembly, which comprises both chambers of the country’s parliament, as well as to senior Russian officials.

“We know that the West was directly involved in the attempts by theKiev regime to strike the bases that house our strategic aircraft,” Putin said.

“The drones used [in the raids] were equipped and upgraded with help from NATO experts.”

On December 5, UAVs attacked Dyagilevo and Engels military airfields located 500km (310.6 miles) and 700km (435 miles) from Ukrainian-held territory respectively. Three servicemen were killed and two aircraft received minor damage, the Russian Ministry of Defense said at the time. A similar drone raid on Engels Air Force Base in Saratov Region occurred on December 26, when three people were killed and no planes were damaged, according to the MOD.

Speaking on Tuesday, Putin said Moscow will temporarily withdraw from the 2010 New START Treaty with the US, which caps the number of nuclear warheads and the means of delivery, and allows for inspections of each other’s nuclear arsenal.

I want to emphasize:The US and NATO are saying outright that their goal is to inflict a strategic defeat on Russia. And, after this, they are going to tour our defense sites as if nothing is happening?

The 2010 treaty replaced the first START agreement signed by the US and the Soviet Union in 1991. Last month, the US accused Moscow of refusing to “facilitate inspection activities.” Putin also said that Russia’s requests for inspections have either been ignored or rejected.

(Putin hit strategic buttons for sure!)

China tests ‘phantom space strike’ missile technology – media

Scientists claim they can use spacecraft to confuse and overwhelm enemy missile defense systems

Chinese military engineers have developed a space-based method of overwhelming sophisticated missile-defense systems, according to a local media report. The tactic has yet to be tested in real life, where scientists warn it could lead to unintentional nuclear war.

In a computer simulation, researchers with China’s People’s Liberation Army (PLA) launched a ballistic missile into space, where it released three small spacecraft high above the Earth’s atmosphere. These spacecraft then sent false signals back to ground-based missile warning radars, spoofing them into thinking that many more missiles were inbound.

The radar stations responded by launching interceptor missiles toward the non-existent warheads.

The research paper was published in the Chinese-language Journal of Electronics and Information Technology earlier this month, the South China Morning Post reported on Monday.

The team of scientists said that they designed their spacecraft tofool multiple radar stations at once, by operating within these sites’ margin of error. The simulation could be easily scaled up to include more spacecraft, they said, which could overwhelm a sophisticated missile defense network and open an adversary up to a follow-up attack with real missiles.

There are many more details we do not discuss in this paper,” the team wrote.

The breakthrough comes despite Beijing’s repeatedly stated position that it opposes the militarization of space. The Chinese government has accused the US of “stonewalling” a “space arms control initiative”led by China and Russia, and of “further aggravating the trend of turning outer space into a weapon and a battlefield.”

Unlike the US, however, China does not formally designate space as a “war-fighting domain,” and the latest research is unlikely to ever be used against a peer-level adversary such as the US, a space scientist in Beijing told the South China Morning Post.

“This phantom space force is never likely to be put to use against a powerful opponent,” the scientist said, citing the risk of nuclear retaliation as radars show fake warheads raining down. Instead, he claimed, “it will serve as strategic deterrence.”
