You are able to see the path because you have a sound mind that is not laced with fear. Fear is disempowering. Fear is only guidance letting you know that your thoughts are currently not aligned with what God knows to be true, otherwise faith would not work. You act like trusting God and having faith means you can't think all of a sudden.
