We're actually able to save money at 3x the rate of living in the states. Inflation has not hit Mexico anywhere near as hard as the u.s. our nestegg is growing not diminishing day by day. 600 a month gets you a luxury apartment. Monthly overhead to live comfortably is around 1500 to 2k on the beach. So we will take our chances.
