Maybe the "cabal" chose him, maybe they didn't. Either way, Trump facing competition from anyone is a great thing. He can either fine-tune his massage and stay on that message OR someone else can pick up when Trump left off, leverage their strengths against Trump's weaknesses and be the next GOP candidate.

I don't know that Tyson was going to wake anyone up - the general public seemed okay with him being a modern day gladiator/slave. However, I have no doubt that something did happen that made a Very Important Person unhappy.

drag queens can't be painted with a broad brush, though. it would be interesting to see if a majority of drag performers would feel comfortable doing their act for an audience of kids. my own guess is that no, the majority wouldn't be comfortable. bc they're adults and know that kids have no context or real appreciation for their schtick. kids at drag shows are laughing at clowns and nothing else.
