I just ordered some white blackberries.
While it's amusing given the times we are in, I generally seek to grow more exotic varieties of things or just varieties I can't find in the store. Purple carrots, various beans/corn, blue tomatoes. Heirloom all the garden stuff.
Cane fruits and trees are much less commonly "heirloom". The cherry trees with 4 different varieties grafted together are kind of crazy, though…. but you don't have to worry about a pollenizer.
