Trains stopped in Durham after train hits car stuck on tracks Sunday, no injuries
DURHAM, Calif. - CAL FIRE Butte Unit says that Union Pacific Railroad has halted train movement because a car stuck on the tracks was hit by a train on Sunday in Durham.
The incident occurred near the intersection of Midway and Brown Street at around 2:35 p.m.
CAL FIRE says that Union Pacific Railroad investigators are at the scene, and they estimate that trains will be up and running in about three hours.
There are no reported injuries. CHP and CAL FIRE Butte Unit both responded to the scene.
