Mr. Biden: We now got to a point where it's cheaper to generate electricity from wind and solar, than it is from coal and or fossil fuels.
Mr. Biden: We're still gonna need combustion engines, we're still gonna need oil, for the next ten or fifteen years.
Mr. Biden: You can't make an American automobile without those chips, you can't make a refrigerator, you can't make a cell phone without those chips.
[refrigerators absolutely do not require computer chips…vehicles really don't either]
Refrigerators/freezers have chips, but they certainly don't need them. And a vehicle does not require a computer either. Car companies are perfectly capable of creating cars without computer chips, or at least with very few.
Much of our 'old technology' is perfectly acceptable. Every appliance, mode of transportation, or useful item, does not have to be computer controlled.
