I don't think the general populous understands that an AI is NOT a human. An AI is just a program that is told how to respond to maybe every situation ever made. As you interact with an AI also remember this. It is learning about you as you interact with it. You are literally giving it information that should be personal, but you're making public. Like love life, family, debts, thoughts, and believe me someone is reading what the AI learns from you. This is what an AI is.
