when everyone leaves the dance floor
the dancing usually is over
even if the band is still playing . . .
the band keeps playing and people hate the songs they play.
the stop participating.
your point: there are always new rubes for the fleecing?
Also, all that 'hands together love everyone, free love' was fine until they needed to pay for the drugs that they were all on.
then the band went back to their hotels and lead a double life and the band and family never mingled with the fans.
my point: it was all fake.
yes the fans could form a unit of loving people, deadheads were often that.
but the band and family? they let the disfunction and dissipation of their members continue because they didn't want the party to end for themselves.
it was cringe, in hindsight, most of their 'join hands' bullshit.
