Anon, oil is a gift from God and is a never ending byproduct of our planet. Yes, the oil companies make money as does every other company who provides a service, product or good. This is the way of the greatest economic system to have ever been created on this planet and it has lifted more people out of poverty than everything else combined.

The sheer number of products we use every single day coming from petroleum is staggering. I am pro oil and anti climate change shitsham clean energy. Oil, Natural Gas and affordable, cheap enegy is the means that powers our economy. Oil companies work hard to bring that to US and it is hard work. Not to mention the investments made by oil producers. It truly is the "Renewable Energy".

Damn anon, that brought tears to my eyes. I have no doubt that what you say is the truth. I know it to be the truth. Am happy your Doggy is fine now as I know how much my Golden means to me. I watch him like a child. God is great.

Very interesting anon. The principles at SVB should have took Powell at his word when he started raiising the prime rate last year. If SVB was holding securities at 0.5% and the Fed hiked to .75 then they should have got out immediately. Now, with the prime rate approaching 5% they decide to get out? Like waiting to move out of the way of a speeding car after it hits and kills you. Makes zero sense.

Also with SVB if I understand this correctly, as a VC provider it was contractually requiring anyone who they provided VC to, had to keep that money in SVB with much of that money being well above the 250k FDIC insurance threshold. Have I got this right?

I suspect this is why some of these fucks are clamoring for Smell'n Yellen to bail out the entire shabang.

I don't see this having the same effect on the big banks although they too have some exposure to this but nothing like SVB did, but if you are with a local or regional bank I would follow other anons advice. Enough to pay the bills for now and see what happens. Any CEO/CFO of any bank that did not see this coming is a fucking moran.

Yea, you're right anon. I think I would have gone about this in a moar covert way if I knew for a fact, he was molesting my daughter. He's got some trouble in the short run, I don't see a jury convicting him going to trial. But he is in blue territory.

My understanding for the bigger bois, WF, BofA etcโ€ฆโ€ฆโ€ฆ. although having exposure to this are not nearly as exposed as SVB was? I''ve got savings with WF but it is well below the 250k limit. Surprisingly, I'm in TBills at the moment with most of the assets. HTM is middle May.

I understand. But I would make the argument that this isn't murder. He didn't murder this pedophile just to kill him or when robbing him, car jacking him or breaking into his home. He exercised his God given right to self defence and that self defence applies to himself, his family, his property or others. Perhaps an argument could be made for the "Immediateness" of the threat but I think his daughter's mental health and well being preclude that. Once that kind of evil is perpatrated on a child that is a life sentence. Some recover from it and go on to live normal lives. Others don't.

Well, you're right. I just would have shot him and forgone the crazed killing. Look anon, I agree with you, we are a country of law and order and I wholeheartedly believe in that. It is what binds a civil society together and I am all for living in a civil society. And other anon is correct that we don't know the facts.

But what I said in my post was if I knew for a FACT that someone was doing this to my daughter and if I knew this for a fact? Unfortunately for them, I stand by what I said.
