A rainbow is a meteorological and optical phenomenon that is caused by reflection, refraction and dispersion of light in water droplets resulting in a spectrum of light appearing in the sky. It takes the form of a multicoloured circular arc. Rainbows caused by sunlight always appear in the section of sky directly opposite the Sun.
Biblefags point to a story written about a guy named Noah that was plagiarized from the Epic of Gilgamesh - Sargon of Akkad. They attribute the rainbow as being symbolic of God's promise to never flood the earth again, while being forced to also recognize most religions around the world have a flood story, too. Even the story isn't exclusive to Christians. As far as the rainbow is concerned, anyone could take any phenomenon we encounter on any given day and use it to represent something of their choice. Claiming ownership over something doesn't make it yours anymore or less than anyone else using symbols for what they want.
In the Christian belief, God made all the animals of the earth. This includes owls. Owls have their purpose. Some people like owls; their behaviors, their unique calls, and the fact they eat rodents, and their large eyes are often symbolic for wisdom. Just because some people use it to represent a sect/cult doesn't make owls evil. Just because Christians believe the rainbow was used by by their deity as a "covenant" with that deity's creation doesn't make it true. It's a symbol to them. A symbol they have no real ownership over.
The sooner people realize this, and the sooner people realize what Q really meant when they said Unity - and that means unifying efforts with people that look, think, feel, and act differently from you. The sooner the drama can be dismissed as nothing more than a projection issue based in a lack of perspective, the sooner people can get back to getting to business.
