depends on that state there is such a thing as medical age of consent, the question is what is covered under that and what is defined as medical. If a child wants to transition in many states they are allowed because of this loop hole. Then the parent is also forced to pay for this medical treatment because if they do not the state will say it is abuse. This is a very slippery slope.
