Rumors Swirl Over Which Biden Family Member Got Cut Of $3M CCP-Linked Wire

Washington DC is abuzz with speculation over which Biden family member got a cut of a $3 million wire transfer to Hunter Biden associate John "Rob" Walker, just weeks after Joe Biden was no longer Vice President in 2017.

According to House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) - who last week said that evidence of CCP money flowing to the Biden family was "as bad as we thought," - revealed that bank records obtained via a subpoena have implicated a "new Biden family member" in the ongoing investigation into the first family's finances.

Comer told Fox News that Walker received a $3 million wire from two individuals tied to the Chinese Communist Party, which he then divvied up between Biden family members.

"The very next day after that wire was received, the Walker account started transferring money into three different Biden family members’ accounts, including a new Biden family member that’s never before been identified as someone being involved in the influence-peddling scheme," Comer told host Sean Hannity (as part of several recent interviews on the network).

Nebraska Democrat Says She Will ‘Burn the Session to the Ground’ Over Bill Banning Sex Change Surgeries for Children

Democrat Nebraska State Senator Machaela Cavanaugh has vowed to filibuster all bills unless Republicans back down on bills that would ban abortion and transgender surgeries and hormones for minors.

Sen. Cavanaugh is now three weeks into her filibuster and has vowed to “burn the session to the ground” if she does not get her way when it comes to mutilating children.

The session is now halfway over, and no bills have passed, because of Cavanaugh’s filibuster.

“If this Legislature collectively decides that legislating hate against children is our priority, then I am going to make it painful — painful for everyone,” Cavanaugh said, according to a report from the Associated Press. “I will burn the session to the ground over this bill.”

In February, the state senator expressed a similar sentiment, saying that “if you want to inflict pain upon our children, I am going to inflict pain upon this body.”

In order to stall bills, Cavanaugh has taken to the floor and spent hours talking about ridiculous things such as “her favorite Girl Scout cookies, Omaha’s best doughnuts and the plot of the animated movie ‘Madagascar,'” the Associated Press reports.

Omaha Sen. Kathleen Kauth has been the most viciously targeted by Sen. Cavanaugh because she is the one who introduced the legislation to ban hormones and transgender surgeries for minors.

LB574, or the Let Them Grow Act, would prohibit physicians in the state from performing or referring an individual for gender alteration procedures if the individual is under 19. The bill would also prohibit the distribution or use of state funds for any entity, organization, or individual that provides gender-altering procedures to minors.

“More than 85 percent of kids with gender dysphoria will desist if left alone in a process called ‘watchful waiting’,” Sen. Kauth said in a statement. “These children need therapy to deal with the coexisting mental and emotional struggles they are experiencing — not irreversible, harmful and experimental medical procedures.”

“A physician who knowingly violates the bill’s provisions would be subject to review by the state’s medical licensing board. An individual who received a gender altering procedure while under the age of 19, or their parent or guardian, could bring a civil action against the physician within two years of a procedure,” Sen. Kauth explained.

Cavanaugh has also previously stated that she is, in fact, threatening the other members of the senate.

Colorado’s First Congresswoman Perfectly Sums Up Why We Need More Women in Politics

When Pat Schroeder was first elected to Congress in 1972, many women didn’t work at all, much less in one of the most famous buildings in the country. The congresswoman was the first female Coloradan elected to that body and one of 14 women serving at the time, compared to more than 100 today. Though some male colleagues tried to dismiss her as “little Patsy,” voters reelected Schroeder 11 more times.

The wit that helped make her so well-known back then—when one male colleague questioned how she could be a mother of young children and serve in Congress, she replied “I have a brain and a uterus. I use both”—is just as trenchant today. Motto spoke to the trailblazer from her home in Florida, where she’s working to help get female candidates elected, about what has changed for women since the 1970s and what hasn’t.

MOTTO: When you got to Congress, how hard was it to be taken as seriously as your male counterparts?

SCHROEDER: It was pretty hard. I remember Tip O’Neill, as [then Speaker of the House], used to introduce me a certain way and it always kind of made me crazy. And when he came to Denver, I thought: I will introduce him the way he introduces me.

So I introduced him as Millie O’Neill’s husband—and, “We all know Millie; she’s very involved in the arts”—and, of course, “the most important things in his life are his four children.” And gave their names and birthdays. And, “We’re not sure what he really wants to do with his life, but we really like him.” You know. And he’s looking at me like, “What are you doing?” And I said, “Oh, I thought that’s how you wanted to be introduced. I’m sorry.” And he got it. But it’s one of those thing where I was always Jim Schroeder’s wife, the lawyer in Washington and Denver. A mother of children. They weren’t sure what I was going to do. But it was nice to have me drop by the Congress for a couple years.

What do you think was behind that kind of introduction?

People just didn’t want to believe that you were going to be there, that you were going to stay there and you were trying to do something. I remember in 1992, when Clinton came in and we finally had 10% of the body being female, I remember one old guy saying to me, “Well, I hope you’re happy. This place looks like a f***ing shopping mall.” I said, “Where do you shop where there’s only 10% women?” They were all very startled that we were there and couldn’t believe that we were serious.

What else did you do to get that message across that you were just as serious as any of them were?

What else did you do to get that message across that you were just as serious as any of them were?

The main thing was to just keep getting re-elected and coming back.

You hate to speak in such generalities, because there clearly were some that dealt with you seriously, but I’ll never forget when I first got elected, one guy said to me, “I can’t imagine why you’re here. Politics is about Chivas Regal, beautiful women, $1,000 bills and Learjets. You don’t seem to like any of those.”

What did Congress look like back then?

I think at that time, the average age was like 58 or 60. Basically all white. It kind of looked like the Cleveland Kiwanis Club. There was just this handful of women. And half of them had taken their husband’s position. Their husbands had been killed or died and they ran for the office, so they were really more like extensions of their husbands. There were only eight or nine of us that came in our own right. I had a particularly difficult time because I was married and I had a little kid. Even Bella Abzug said to me, “I don’t know how you’re going to do this.”

How did you react to that?

You just shake your head and say, “I’ll manage. Don’t worry.” And you don’t go around asking the males that question. No one ever says, “How are you going to be a father and a member of Congress?!” It was an interesting time.

Some of that is still here. Susan Wojcicki, CEO of Youtube, was on a panel recently where she was asked about her children and it launched a bunch of think pieces about whether a man would be asked the same thing.

Oh, yeah. I honestly think one of the reasons young women don’t understand what feminism is about is we did such a good job with Title IX, getting the schools and the sports and everything to open up. And it’s not until they get out into the work world that they suddenly encounter this. And they’d say “I thought feminism was about not shaving your legs or something, or burning your bra. Or the battles have been won.” Look at the women soccer players we’ve got out there now, winning all the gold medals, outdrawing the males. And the organization that oversees them gives them only 40% of what they give the men. So, welcome to feminism.

Do you think the different standards of judgment are still there for women and men in public roles?

I think they’re still there to some extent. I look at Hillary and I listen to the talking heads talk about “She doesn’t smile enough” or “She screams” or “She shouts.” And I think, wait a minute. I don’t really think I know Bernie Sanders well, but I don’t think of him as one big smile.

What do you see as the most important shifts that have happened since the 1970s for women?

[The year] 2020 will be the 100th anniversary of women getting the right to vote, and it’s time we did an analysis of how well we’ve used it. It’s hard to say what is the most important. If you’re young and child-bearing age, you ought to be absolutely horrified at what’s going on in this country vis-à-vis reproductive rights. If you are young and have a family, you ought to be furious that we’re still the worst of any industrial nation on what we do to support work and family issues. We still pretend like women are working for fun or to make money for jam or something.

What do you think of the amount that is made or isn’t made about Hillary Clinton being a woman and what that might mean if she does win the presidency?

Hillary has been there from Day One on every women’s issue I can think of. And I think as president she would be fantastic, she would really open doors, both nationally and internationally. Internationally, she did a whole lot in the Department of State to make women’s issues human rights issues. They used to be considered cultural issues. Really, if you discriminate against men, it’s human rights. If you discriminate against women, it’s cultural. She’s done some phenomenal things, and I think she’ll continue to do that.

How do you view the Republican candidates on women’s issues?

To me what’s going on the other side right now is absolutely terrifying—to listen to these guys and to see the way Trump has treated women is just off the charts!

What does it say about America that Trump is so popular despite the well-known things he’s said that are overtly or arguably sexist?

Actually I am feeling a little better that 70-something percent of the women are saying they can’t have any part of it. What’s scary is there’s a hardcore of older white males who don’t like what’s happened in the race area, and with women. It’s like “We used to be kings of the hill and now all these other people are getting a piece of the action.” And they’re mad. I think Trump is playing them. I think he knows full well what he’s playing and how to play ’em.

Any final thoughts?

Whitmer reportedly allotted $1.4 million in CARES Act funds to Michigan State University College of Education, the University of Michigan’s School of Education, and Michigan Virtual to create online social justice courses.

Inside NoVa reports, “the way the program was funded has come under scrutiny from federal oversight agencies. The Department of Education’s Office of Inspector General said in a report released in September that the state could not support the process it used to select Michigan Virtual, MSU and UM to develop the modules.”

“The purpose of the program was to train teachers on how to implement the teacher professional learning standards developed by the Governor’s Education Advisory Council,” said a report from the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Inspector General, which investigated how the state spent the federal pandemic money.

In 2019, Whitmer created the Governor’s Education Advisory Council and chose all 15 people who would serve on it. She personally signed off on granting the money, according to the report.

The courses created with COVID funds include “Anti-Racism and Social Justice Teaching and Leadership” and “Anti-Racist Trauma-Informed Practice in PreK-12 Education,” “Social-Emotional Learning: Equity Elaborations,” “Social-Emotional Learning: Assessment Mechanisms” and 11 others, the report states.

“The ‘Anti-Racism and Social Justice Teaching and Leadership’ module developed with MSU staff aims to teach educators about how to see racism and privilege and how they play out in school and society, analyze theoretical frameworks for anti-racist and social justice teaching, recognize system oppression and apply strategies to dismantle it and examine how to connect with staff and communities,” the report explained. “The material in that course asked teachers about how they could respond to a classroom situation in the most anti-racist way possible.”

A reading for the course by Candice Valenzuela argued that a “white dominant society” has “historical narcissism, historical amnesia and colonialist perpetration of violence” that needs to be confronted.

“Trauma-informed training cannot be facilitated by anyone who has not faced the generational, historical trauma of racism, White supremacy, heteropatriarchy, ableism and capitalism within their own bodies, communities and practices,” Valenzuela wrote. “We must not only hyper focus on the trauma of youth of color, but also ‘research up’ into the traumatic implications of White dominant society’s historical narcissism, historical amnesia and colonialist perpetration of violence.”

Seattle fire chief faces backlash after coordinating with BLM, Antifa rioters during CHAZ occupation

A group of Seattle firefighters have sent a letter to the King County Sheriff, King County prosecutor Leesa Manion, and Seattle Mayor Bruce Harrell calling into question Seattle Fire Chief Harold Scoggins’ ability to continue to lead the department following the discovery of evidence that he allegedly coordinated with the BLM/Antifa occupiers of the deadly Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone (CHAZ) in 2020.

According to the letter obtained exclusively by The Post Millennial, the firefighters stated, “Chief Scoggins - while on duty, and in uniform, actively supported the perpetrators of the civil unrest and provided support, acting in the capacity as a city official. He ordered the removal of front-line emergency equipment from Fire Department vehicles and gave it to the people inside the 'autonomous zone', this bypasses set protocols and directly puts patients in way of harm by removing trained personnel and placing undue burden on civilians to administer aid. Chief Scoggins also openly stated that he facilitated the movement of cement blockades into the street of the protest zone, this reckless act made it impossible for the Fire Department to come to the aid of those inside the zone.”

One of the firefighters stated in their letter that Scoggins’ actions “made us feel completely disempowered. We forcibly abandoned the citizens on the other side of those blockades. It delayed our ability to do our jobs and cost people their lives as a result.”

The purpose of that letter, they wrote, “is to express our concern regarding Seattle Fire Chief, Harold Scoggins. Our concern is based on presumed criminal activity and engagement, failure to uphold his sworn oath, failure to adhere to required Seattle City Official expectations, and involvement in conspiracy to commit spoilation. We believe that the included actions of Chief Scoggins have damaged the reputation of the Seattle Fire Department, diminished morale among its members (which has contributed to the staffing shortage across the City and has resulted in loss of life and property caused by longer response times) and marred the trust that the community holds in the Department. The damage that the City and the Fire Department have withstood directly from Chief Scoggins’ actions may take decades to restore.”

The letter cited a District Court of Western Washington ruling last month in which Scoggins was found to have deleted communications, including thousands of texts, regarding the "autonomous zone" from his city-issued cell phone, which was ordered to be preserved.

According to the letter: “Though the investigation was opened on June 24, 2020, and a Litigation Holds order was placed on the information contained in text messages on Chief Scoggins’ device on July 22, 2020, on October 8, 2020 (77 days later), Chief Scoggins took his device to an Apple Store and had a factory reset preformed, deleting all text messages held on the device.”

SMUD, Among Other Utilities, Uses Cloud Seeding To Increase Hydropower

Cloud seeding could become increasingly prevalent in California as utilities there face the twin challenges of drought and reaching the state’s net zero emission goals intended to combat global warming.

The Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD), one of several California utilities with a cloud seeding program, provides an example of how a public power utility uses the technology to augment its hydroelectric resources.

SMUD uses cloud seeding to increase snowfall on the Upper American River Basin where the utility has a series of hydroelectric dams. Increased snowfall leads to more snowpack. When the snow melts and runs off, it increases the amount of water in the utility’s reservoirs, providing greater potential for hydropower generation during high electric demand summer months.

SMUD has been using cloud seeding since 1969 and has found that “on average cloud seeding increases snowpack by roughly three to 10 percent,” Kaitlyn Bednar, SMUD’s hydrographer, said.

“So, for example, in an average year if we get 50 inches of snow water equivalent, cloud seeding can increase that value to 55 inches, translating to a large increase in runoff and power generation,” Bednar said.

“That extra five inches more than pays for itself and provides carbon free power,” Bednar said, noting that the equivalent generation from a natural gas-fired plant would produce “six thousand times as much carbon dioxide as our seeding program.”

SMUD’s current budget for its cloud seeding program is $1.5 million over five years, but the allocations vary from year to year depending on the hydrological conditions and the number of suitable storms.

SMUD’s program focuses on glaciogenic seeding, which laces clouds with microscopic silver iodide particles. Those particles have a similar crystal structure to ice that allows moisture to attach to them and grow heavy enough to precipitate in the form of snow.

SMUD’s seeding season runs from Mid-November through mid-April. In addition, certain criteria are needed for a successful seeding. The clouds need to have a suitable water content, and the temperature has to be cold enough, at least negative 4 degrees Celsius, for moisture to crystalize on the silver iodide particles and then precipitate as snow. “We rarely have a season we don’t cloud seed,” Bednar said. This season, SMUD had 10 seedable events. The goal is to have the utility’s reservoirs completely full by the end of the winter months. “We’ll take all the moisture we can get,” she said.

A third party, RHS Consulting, does the actual seeding for SMUD by flying in or above clouds and setting off silver iodide flares mounted either on the plane’s wing or belly. Each seeding event uses a handful of flares with each flare emitting anywhere between 20 to 200 grams of silver iodide.

The amount of silver iodide released during cloud seeding is not harmful to the environment, Bednar said. It is low in toxicity, insoluble in water, and has low bioavailability. SMUD also tests the areas seeded every five years and to date has found no adverse effects. The utility uses two control areas outside of the project area where cloud seeding does not occur to compare with its seeded area.

Other California public power and investor-owned entities, such as the Northern California Power Agency and Pacific Gas and Electric, also have been engaged in cloud seeding operations for years. And the California Energy Commission (CEC) with the state Department of Water Resources in November hosted a workshop on Cloud Seeding for Precipitation Enhancement.

The CEC, in fact, “may consider future research related to cloud seeding, as described by the proposed EPIC 4 investment plan,” Michael Ward, CEC’s media officer, said via email.

If approved by the state’s Public Utilities Commission, that initiative could support efforts to, “advance strategies for managing California’s hydropower resources for optimal contribution to grid operations and foster development of cost-effective, robust approaches for meeting anticipated needs for zero-carbon, fast-ramping resources,” the CEC said.

Those efforts could include “field research to measure, and ultimately improve, the cost-effectiveness and efficacy of precipitation enhancement through seeding clouds with tiny particles intended to increase the amount of atmospheric water vapor that condenses and falls to the ground as snow or rain,” The CEC said.

Republicans Bail Out Biden Ambassador to India Nominee Eric Garcetti in Critical Confirmation Vote

The Senate confirmed former Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti (D) as President Joe Biden’s U.S. ambassador to India after seven Republicans voted with most Democrats on Wednesday to pass the vote.

The final vote count was 52 to 42 with six absences.

Garcetti’s fate in the narrowly divided Senate had been uncertain heading into Wednesday as Sens. John Fetterman (D-PA), Diane Feinstein (D-CA), and Mitch McConnell (R-KY) were expected to miss the vote for health reasons and other swing voters from both parties had appeared to be on the fence.

Garcetti, who served as L.A. mayor for nine years until 2022, was first nominated by Biden to serve as ambassador to India in July 2021, but the vote was tabled amid sexual harassment claims made against top Garcetti aide Rick Jacobs, as detailed in the Los Angeles Times.

Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) issued a report last year that found it was “more likely than not that Mayor Garcetti either had personal knowledge of the sexual harassment or should have been aware of it.”

Jacobs has denied any wrongdoing, Garcetti has denied any knowledge of any wrongdoing, and the White House has stood by the former mayor. Biden renominated Garcetti on January 3, the first day of the 118th Congress.

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said at the time that Garcetti was “well-qualified” for the “vital role” and that the White House was “hopeful that the Senate [would] confirm him promptly.”

Prior to Garcetti’s confirmation Wednesday, the role of U.S. ambassador to India had been open for more than two years, and Republicans voting in favor of Garcetti largely indicated they were willing to overlook his perceived downsides to fill a role critical to the United States’ response to threats from China.

Hagerty, who typically votes with Republicans but voted for Garcetti, previously served as U.S. ambassador to Japan, a country that has been an equally important partner as India to the U.S. — all three countries along with Australia are members of the “Quad” alliance — in terms of addressing competition from China.

“This is a national security imperative,” Young, another Republican who crossed the aisle to support Garcetti, told CNN. “We have to balance concerns people might have about the nominee against the real risk of waiting another year until we have an ambassador on the ground.

Garcetti became a major ally for Senate Democrats in 2018, raising more than $1 million at a single fundraising event with Hollywood figures in California to support Senate candidates in the election that year.

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) said in a noticeably brief statement after Garcetti’s confirmation, “The United States-India relationship is extremely important and it’s a very good thing we now have an Ambassador.”

The shortcut is once you understand all of this, and it is logical because you understand what you are doing with your thoughts and therefore how you feel, every time no exceptions ever (ALL emotion EVER has to do with desire from our hearts and letting it in/faith/joy/eagerness/bliss/passion/life giving or blocking it/doubt/fear/worry/anger/frustration/pain/no energy) then when that lil ego comes up to remind you that it will never happen and you can't have it and it's never happened before and it can't happen to you or whatever the fuck, just say oh look! a thought! and release it. Family defends Orthodox 'rabbi' accused of sexually abusing adopted sons, faking disability and Jewish conversion

The family of a Texas man accused of sexually assaulting several of his nine adopted sons has come to his defense.

Last month, Hayim Nissim Cohen, 38, was arrested after his 17-year-old adopted son made an anonymous phone call to the "Blind Skinned Beauty" podcast and claimed that his father had molested him since he was first adopted six years ago. Police were able to trace the call to a boy living in Cohen's house, at which point, the boy told officers that he and his brothers had been repeatedly assaulted.

Cohen has adopted nine boys, six of whom are still minors, and until recently had been chronicling their family life on various social media accounts, garnering a sizeable audience. His TikTok account, @our_unique_family, has nearly 200,000 followers. Cohen has presented himself as a Hasidic Jew who made it his life's mission to "to ensure that Jewish foster children are placed in Jewish homes."

The 17-year-old boy's accusations have shattered that image of a happy, observant, "unique" Jewish home, and Harris County prosecutors have followed up those accusations with some serious charges, including several counts of sexual assault of a child and sexual abuse of a child.

However, despite the heinous charges against him, several family members have publicly declared their continued support for Cohen. Cohen's oldest son, Avshalom, 22, stated unequivocally: "My father never abused me. He's a great father that would never hurt any of us. If I saw anything out of order by anyone, I would have done everything in my power to protect my brothers."

Cohen's mother, Corina Lujan, 71, suggested that if her son had molested the boys, some of the them would have likely reported that abuse to their therapist, whom they used to see weekly. "If this alleged sexual abuse had gone on for years as claimed by the prosecutor, why didn't any therapist notice it or know about it?" Lujan asked rhetorically.

Though Lujan was also adamant in her belief in her son's innocence, she did reveal that Cohen, born Jeffrey Vejil, is not a Hasidic Jew from New York City, but a Texas native and a former altar boy in the Catholic church who once dreamed of becoming a priest.

"He came to us one day and said, 'I'm going to convert to Judaism,'" she said, adding that she thought his conversion was "beautiful."

Various Jewish groups have taken issue with Cohen's assumed Jewish identity. One member of the Orthodox Jewish community in Houston, where Cohen now lives, said that many in the community had distrusted Cohen for a long time. "He claimed he was one of those guys who throws rocks on Shabbos, but he doesn’t speak a word of Hebrew or a word of Yiddish," the man said.

"He showed up and claimed some references and assumed no one would check. One of the rabbis checked the references in New York, and it didn’t check out," the man continued.

US media targets state abortion bill

A proposal to classify fetuses as “persons” was slammed as wanting the “death penalty” for women

Six members of the South Carolina statehouse withdrew their sponsorship from a bill this week, after media coverage portaryed it as wanting to execute women who have abortions. Proposed in January, the bill attracted the attention of major corporate outlets on Monday, resulting in a flurry of near-identical stories condemning it.

The “South Carolina Prenatal Equal Protection Act of 2023” introduced several amendments to the state criminal code, which would define a fertilized egg as a person and prosecute abortion as murder. It was proposed by Spartanburg Republican Rob Harris, a registered nurse and a member of the Freedom Caucus.

The bill went unnoticed for nearly two months, until the regional TV station WBVW reported on it on February 27. Their headline noted that the bill “could make [the] death penalty possible punishment” for abortion, as capital punishment was still on the books in South Carolina.

Five days later, the story was rehashed by Insider – owned by the German transnational conglomerate Axel Springer – whose reporting made the possibility of the death penalty suggested by WBTW a done deal.

On Monday, Rolling Stone claimed that 21 South Carolina Republicans “propose [the] death penalty” for abortions. They quoted Congresswoman Nancy Mace, a South Carolina Republican, who in a floor speech last Friday brought up her own experience as a teenage rape victim to call the bill part of a “deeply disturbing” trend.

Rolling Stone’s coverage was then echoed by USA Today and The Hill. A blogger for MSNBC’s ‘ReidOut’ show went a step further, calling the proposal an example of “right-wing depravity” and pointing out it doesn’t even include exceptions for rape or incest, which he called “a caveat conservatives traditionally trot out to signal empathy as they crusade against abortion.”

The South Carolina statehouse web page for the bill shows that five lawmakers withdrew their sponsorship of the bill on Monday, followed by another one on Tuesday.

Abortion has been a hot-button issue in US politics for decades. Most Republicans condemn it as murder and sinful, while most Democrats insist it’s a healthcare issue while some even defend it as a “sacred” right. In the 1973 Roe v. Wade ruling, the US Supreme Court declared abortion part of the constitutionally protected right to privacy. That precedent was overturned in June 2022, however, sending the authority to regulate abortion back to individual states.

Current South Carolina law holds that abortion is legal up to 21 weeks and six days of pregnancy. Harris proposed his bill on January 10, shortly after the state Supreme Court struck down a 2021 law that sought to outlaw abortions after six weeks.

South Carolina’s last execution was in 2011. Faced with logistical problems with administering lethal injections, the state has adopted the electric chair as the preferred method of capital punishment, but the courts are currently debating whether that would violate human rights.

David Becker of Corrupt Soros Funded ERIC is OUT! Will Not Seek Re-Nomination to Board

David Becker, the democrat operative who founded the ERIC system used in over 30 states with 35m voter records, will not seek re-nomination according to a recent tweet.

The Gateway Pundit has been covering the controversy surrounding the organization tasked with updating the voter rolls in numerous states since its creation by Becker and funded by George Soros’ Open Society Foundation in 2012.

Becker, who also heads the Election Officials Legal Defense Network and the Center for Election and Innovation Research, has been on the board of the ERIC system since its inception. Recently, Florida, Missouri and West Virginia have all cancelled their contract with ERIC.

The CEIR notoriously received over $69.5 million in “Zuckerbucks” for the 2020 election. Those funds were distributed disproportionately to the “swing states” of the 2020 election: PA ($13.2M), MI ($11.9M), AZ ($4.8M), and GA ($5.6M) received over half of the $64.3 million distributed. The remaining 19 states split the remainder, which averaged to just $1.57M per state.

Becker has claimed that, in the last year, “efforts by election deniers to attack the ERIC have ramped up, and lies have been spread about me and the work of the [CEIR].” He goes on to claim that ERIC is the “best tool to keep voter lists accurate, and combat voter fraud.”

Despite his claims of “accuracy” on the voter lists, The Gateway Pundit reported that Sarah Whitt of the Statewide Voter Registration System uncovered that Wisconsin had over 7 million voters in their database, but only 3.68 million were eligible to vote.

Becker also claimed that “supporting election officials of both parties will continue to be the core work of the [CEIR] and our [EOLDN].”

The EOLDN was started to help connect election officials to pro-bono legal representation if they are to face election crime charges for “just doing their job”. From the EOLDN website:

Women’s Group Launches Massive Ad Campaign Opposing Ohio Amendment to Remove Parents From Children’s Decisions on Abortion, Sex Changes

A new pro-woman, pro-parent coalition, Protect Women Ohio (PWO), has launched a multi-million-dollar television and digital ad campaign opposing an amendment that would remove parents from children’s decisions about sex changes and abortions.

The organization has vowed to spend $5 million on advertising in the state over the next four weeks for this first phase of its effort to defeat the amendment.

“Moms and dads will be cut out of the most important and life-altering decisions of their lives child’s life, if this passes,” said Molly Smith, Board Member, Protect Women Ohio. “This extreme amendment eliminates any current or future protections for minors requiring parents be notified and consent before their child undergoes a procedure like an abortion or sex change surgery. Ohioans must vote ‘no’ on this dangerous proposal.”

Smith explained the amendment language clearly prohibits any law that “directly or indirectly” would “burden” or “interfere” with any “reproductive decisions.”

“Those are specific legal terms which have been interpreted by courts across the country to strike down parental notification and consent laws,” the coalition said in a press release.

The ad begins, “your daughter’s young. Vulnerable. Online. You fear the worst. Pushed to change her sex, or to get an abortion. You have some right to help her through this — but activists want to take all that away.”

“Under their proposed amendment to the Ohio Constitution, the state ‘shall not interfere’ with individuals getting abortions or sex changes,” the ad continues. “Meaning you could be cut out of the biggest decision of her life.”

The Daily Caller reports, “the Ohio Ballot board met Monday to debate whether or not to approve a proposed state constitutional amendment that would invalidate pro-life laws. The measure, backed by Ohioans for Reproductive Freedom and Ohio Physicians for Reproductive Rights, was approved, according to National Review, and could be on the November 2023 ballot if enough signatures are collected.”

Pentagon calls Moscow over drone incident

Lloyd Austin and Mark Milley called up their Russian counterparts for the first time in months

US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin reached out to his Russian counterpart, Sergey Shoigu, on Wednesday, for the first time in months, to discuss the incident in which an American spy drone went down in the Black Sea waters off Crimea.

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, Shoigu told Austin that the incident was caused by the Americans violating the airspace restriction declared by Russia, with all theproper international notifications in place. Shoigu called US drone flights off the Russian coast “provocative in nature” and risked an escalation of tensions in the Black Sea.

While Russia does not desire such a development, it will “continue to respond proportionately to all provocations,” Shoigu said. He added that thetwo nuclear powers “must act as responsiblyas possible,” which includes keeping a military channel open to discuss any crisis.

Speaking at a Pentagon press briefing, Austin confirmed that he made the call, and said it was “important that great powers be models of transparency and communication.” However, he insisted the US would “continue to fly and to operatewhereverinternational law allows.”

The last time Shoigu and Austin spoke was in October 2022, according to AP. The top military officers also had a phone call about the matter, with US General Mark Milley, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, reaching out to his Russian counterpart, General Valery Gerasimov.

On Tuesday, the US European Command claimed that two Russian Su-27 jets conducted an “an unsafe and unprofessional intercept” of a MQ-9 Reaper drone, which was conducting an intelligence, reconnaissance and surveillance (ISR) mission in international waters over the Black Sea. According to the US military, one of the planes struck the drone’s propeller, causing the operators to ditch the UAV into the water.

The Russian Defense Ministry, however, said thatat no pointdid any of the interceptors make contact with the drone, or use their on-board weapons. The UAV stalled and crashed after executing an abrupt maneuver, Moscow said.

Russian ambassador to the US Anatoly Antonov said he told the State Department that US drones have no business so close to the Russian border. The drone was reportedly just60 kilometersoff the coast of Crimea when it crashed.

The US has flown drones and other surveillance aircraft near the Russian border for over a year, providing intelligence and targeting information to the Ukrainian government – along with weapons, ammunition and money – while insisting it is not a party to the conflict. Nikolai Patrushev, secretary of the Russian Security Council, saidon Wednesday that the drone incident was “yet another confirmation” the US was directly involved.
