Dennis Martin was a 7 year old boy who disappeared from Great Smoky Mnt National Park on June 14, 1969. This is a report on the case which the FBI took control of, but never investigated. While the desperate father looked and a known pedophile was suspected, Hoover and the FBI simultaneously observed the attempts to find Dennis Martin and obstructed them. Every new piece of evidence or witnesses or lead that came up was met with a corresponding visit from the FBI to remind everyone involved that THEY were in charge of the investigation and that they had found no evidence.
There were MANY tips on the case as the father of the victim had been to anyone that could possibly help him. Towards the last document in this record. The father is just beginning to realize that the Authorities are not really doing anything to help Find his son. This report indicates what we all suspected: The FBI was created not to solve crimes and protect the people, but to protect the drug and child trafficking operations that were being run by the elite few.
Not only does someone write extra handwritten notations to protect the identity of the sexual predator, the file indicates that the FBI had a good idea where the child was shortly after the abduction and the investigation was thwarted by the FBI in cooperation with the following agencies:
