Years ago, anon read a book about the New Madrid earthquakes. Then came the eclipse in 2017 with another eclipse coming over the same region in 2024. All three of these events (the earthquakes in the 1800s, and the two eclipses) impact a region in the midwest which anon has also occasionally researched a little. Maybe it was the mention of "Chi Ro" in notables yesterday and/or a mention of Illinois shenanigans today, but anon will share a few of the spoopy details.

Cairo, IL is the southernmost city in Illinois with a checkered history of relative boom and bust. It is part of a region called, interestingly, "Little Egypt" and it is in fact in an area where two major rivers come together.

As for the name Cairo v "Chi Ro" anon does not know if the similarity means much but it is an interesting "coincidence". Anon does wonder if the situation of Cairo IL somewhat reflects the outcome for the region or America if we don't change course. Cairo, IL is depopulated almost to the point of looking like a ghost town and it was the former scene of racial strife.

Anon is praying for America that our country will be delivered from evil and return to God through Jesus.

Don't know if this is something anon can explain, but had a "lightbulb" type moment with the phrase "Vengeance is Mine, I will repay."

When we are unable to obtain vengeance but it is obvious that horrible crimes have been committed it is not time to be dismayed. God seems to be saying that "He's got it."

The emphasis isn't only on us not seeking vengeance, it is also on the fact that God will get vengeance.

This is something to evaluate for yourself and to pray about. Anon figured was done with voting but local school board and council elections attract pitifully few voters. Meaning that a large number of people unexpectedly showing up to put in new people have a chance.

Looks like a deep dive. Disclaimer in the preview-not for the faint of heart. Anon will be praying through this one.
