Just like not all movies are for children. It is why there is a rating system. Granted some parents allow their children to see shit like that and then it is on the parent. Prohibit a website , not a fan of that idea but I can understand it. Just like porn there should be better safeguards for it so kids can't access the sites but fuck turn off a safe search in a search engine you can still see stuff. So its censorship all around. Because you have to try to stop the flow of it in. Why ban the movies though they could be watched by adults. The entire but muh children line can only go so far if it infringes on the rights of an adult as well who may want to watch death note or happy tree friends or read a book. Its not a problem of the media all the time its a problem of access and distribution. I do have some issues though like the books getting banned in us libraries, those books should not be on the shelves and they do glorify some pretty horrible stuff. HOwever in the most broadest of senses, more extreme materials even in libraries should be kept more secure so prying eyes do not see.

If it was a club or such that was for adults only. Int the closet again, fine. Don't be having no field trips for drag story hour either. The sites that host should,key word here, and that should be enforced by goverment to make sure that the programs that are on the publishers site are suitable for all audiences. Even then you have an issue of going elsewhere and seeing the material. Which only leads to the idea of government censoring everything it wants to censor. Its a very very very slippery slope.
