I'll just invoke the 10% rule. One must be at least 10% smarter than the equipment they are using.
People assume that a person who has tools has an advantage. I'll leave it at that.
Dear demoralized retard:
Have you ever given thought to the idea that your projected expectations upon society might have been the subversion?
Anime is, strictly speaking, a graphical animation style.
When I was a child, my father took me aside and pointed to the shows on TV: "look at what they promote, families where the men are stupid and unreliable, children who are more rational than the adults, and children in control of the house."
Were you this bent out of shape over iCarly? While said girl is close enough to my age for it not to be overly creepy to have an interest - the same cannot be said for the various executives and producing agents and I was actually depressed as a younger man knowing the probable realities behind the proverbial curtain.
I noted to my peers that the overwhelming percentage of media was morally subversive and portrayed lampooned caricatures of people/traditional roles.
The popularity of anime largely stems from its roots outside of this moral debasement. There are stories with proper characters and depth to be found. There are heroes. There are villains with motives beyond a commitment to destructive stupidity. There are arcs of character drama that see resolution (imagine a soap opera where people work through their differences rather than perpetually rooting themselves in drama for the sake of more seasons). The characters and plots of anime are far more real than the garbage that tends to come out of "the west."
If you're just anti-media and want to go back to nothing but bible study or something, that is an objective I can at least recognize the argument as an intelligible one. But you have to be honest about it. If you just keep attacking something you know nothing about, then you're retarded.
