It took anon years to adopt this stance. Anon's frustration with people not asking questions about how odd everything coming out of officialdom was gave way to realization.
Americans started from the ethos of "live and let live". The bad actors exploited it, flew just under that radar, and then drove the people inward to twist the ethos to "leave us alone".
Anon's task is to help nudge folks into disgust and twist the ethos again to "default distrust: uproot, go local".
