If Mark Meadows as President Trump's Chief of Staff, doesn't qualify under Executive Priviledge then no one, no where does. Federal Judge. Appeal coming.

"Runaway Trim" is what we call that in the industry. With the autopilot engaged the elevator trim motor will automatically make adjustments to the elevator trim tabs to maintain level flight and reduce control pressure on the system. I've seen it happen fast and I've seen it happen slow. Eventually the pressure on the control system can exceed perimeters and the autopilot will disconnect. It would result in a very noticable jolt but would not send the aircraft out of control unless the autopilot system malfunctioned also. Not good. The QRH (Quick Ref. Handbook-Emergency Procedures) would direct the crew to disconnect the "Auto-Trim" feature and use the control wheel trim switches as you're hand flying the aircraft to retrim it. If that doesn't work then the entire system can be disconnected from it's power supply. With each change of the flight profile and the FP (flying pilot) hand flying the aircraft the control wheel pressure will either decrease or increase. Some of the pressure can be controlled via the throttles and power on the B737 because of the "Wing Mounted" engines. On the Bombarier, a Challenger Jet I'm assuming, the engines are in line and mounted on the rear of the fuselage. On the B737 the trim control wheel is right by your right knee if you're the Captain and the left knee if you're the FO. Probably the same for the Challenger Jet. The most annoying ass thing about the B737 because with the autopilot engaged, that fucking wheel is constantly moving to retrim the trim tabs. It has a small handle embedded in it and you can pull that thing out and use it to rotate the trim wheel and manually trim the aircraft, or you can just grab the damn thing and move it where you want it. Was always constantly hitting my knee and loud as fuck when it moves. Boeing could have redesigned that thing much better. All that said, If the trim system is "Jammed" then that is another procedure and would then become an "Emergency", land at nearest suitable airport.

Same system is tied to the MCAS (Manuvering Control Augmentation System) that was part and parcel to the two B737 Max crashes a few years ago.
