Getting into the Rally. Got the Kitchen cleaned and ready to cook me 6 quarts of Jambalaya. (It freezes well so it will make me like 14 meals) Anon has a question. Tweak a couple recipes but both of then says prep time: 15 min., cook time: 45 min, total time: 60 min. Here's my question: How in the hell do you

de-seed and chop up 2 bell peppers, chop up 2 onions, cut 6 stalks of celery, de-seed and and chop up 6 jalapeno peppers, slice 5 Andouille sausages then trim 8 chicken thighs. Then saute, in batches, the slices of Andouille and chicken. Then scrap the bottom of the frying pan and put oil and drippings into the dutch over. Add and saute the veggies until limp, then add the rice, diced tomatoes and like 6 spices and then the chicken stock and the sauteed meat and out put the lid on and cook.

How in the hell do you do all that in 15 minutes!

My kids bought me one of those, The way you have it set up is to make a puree, See that clear thing at the top, that's what you use for slicing, That would work for the celery but not anything else. And………slicing by hand is quicker. I dare anyone to do the necessary prep to start a pot of jambalaya in 15 minutes. Even an hour is not enough.

You got that right. Well, here we go. Haven't broke the 1 hour prep time yet. Going for the record today. Think about it. The recipes all say it's prep time is 15 minutes..
