I found and watched the video. Look at the frame showing the broken rail at the 0:57 mark and then tell me why the break shown at the 1:25 minute mark is less severe. The second pic (after the guy says he hear the train cars going thump) is not nearly as bad? The first pic show a wider separation at the top and the break didn't narrow until half way down.

 

Look at the vid again and see for yourself. This anon's calling horse shit.

Look at the second pic. It looks to me that the rail is still connected at the bottom. It looks like the 2 parts are tilted somewhat, maybe even overlapped at the bottom edges.
